The [redacted] 's picked up our Four Winds Majestic on Oct1, They did a walk thru with one of my employees [redacted] that showed them how the RV worked and did a walk thru including notating damages When the [redacted] 's returned the RV to us on Oct4, they complained that the RV's, TV and Microwave did not work The only thing that will cause the Microwave and TV not to work not to mention the converter (a device that converts to volt and charges the battery at the same time) The only thing that causes all items to fail is plugging an RV into the wrong amperage of power Typically this happens when an RV is plugged into vsand immediately fries the TV's, microwave and converter We held the $because ALL of these items were fully functional when the RV left our lot with the [redacted] 's, my contract clearly states that the way an RV leaves our lot is the way it is to be returned to usThe RV was NOT returned to us in the same condition it left our lot The total cost to replace all of these items was $The amount refunded to the [redacted] 's is $

I am responding to the complaint from the person wanting to rent our Retro? The individual I believe emailed us initially about reserving our Retro, one of our staff members responded via email letting him know that the RV was available? In order to reserve an RV from Woody RV Rentals LLC we require one day up front to hold it? This person did not give us any sort of deposit to reserve this RV? We had an additional inquiry at the same time to reserve the same camper our Retro? This person did follow up with the one day of rental up front to reserve it? Therefore the rental went to them? We have MANY campers, however only one Retro, we are happy to discount any other rental that to this person might want to rent for this weekend however with only one particular camper called our Retro we are unable to give him that camper for that weekend? Our policy is clearly stated on our website to reserve as well as on our rental agreement?

The coach that Mr [redacted] rented from Woody RV Rentals, was first and foremost Clean it was not filthy we have a full time staff person that does nothing but clean our RV's and we do not allow any to leave our lot that have not been cleanedWe have our RV's leave our lot (and notate that specifically on their check-out form) the level the fuel is, Mr [redacted] wanted more than a quarter of a tank so we took him to the gas station to add more otherwise Mr [redacted] could have returned the RV at a quarter of a tankWhen Mr [redacted] left our lot there was no check engine light on in fact the RV was fully operational and had been completely checked out mechanically as it is every time any RV leaves our lotI do not know how Mr [redacted] drove my RV, I do not know why the check engine light came onI offered the best advice I could give not knowing the conditions that Mr [redacted] was driving my coachThe bottom line, the RV is fully self-contained regardless of anything else it is very comfortable and accommodatingI rent RV's I do not rent Hotel RoomsIf the engine had thrown a legitimate code (it checked out fine on the following day at the shop)When it was returned to us it also had a broken generator latch, yes the latch had been broken previously however a NEW latch had been installed prior to Mr [redacted] taking our RV off our premisesWe surmised the only possible way that the latch could have failed was for Mr [redacted] to slam on the brakes causing the compartment to slide openWe charged Mr [redacted] the time to once again replace and repair the latchWe had FULL intentions to refund the Security deposit less the $however Mr [redacted] contacted his credit card company and did a chargeback on the full $Woody RV Rentals, LLC Always stands by our product and our RV'sIf we feel that a true emergency or something mechanically had happened outside of Mr [redacted] 's control we would have gladly stepped in however mechanically and functionally that RV is sound and we stand by that [redacted] Woody RV Rentals, LLC [redacted] ***

Here is what I sent as a responseI am sorry that *** *** had an issue with our rental program, indeed renting RV's is not for everyone, you have to choose to allow your RV to be in a rental program knowing that yes wear and tear is going to happen to your coach that being said as long as you
are aware of the fact that there is wear and tear that WILL happen to your RV you do have the opportunity to earn considerable income on your RV whether trailer, fifth wheel Class C or Class A motorhomeThe fact of the matter is the *** did....their RV earned fantastic income which ironically enough *** *** failed to mention in her negative review....on an RV that would have just COST them money in monthly note, insurance, storage they grossed over $10K in the months we had to rent it out despite our having a year long contract, that is fantastic for any RV to earn that muchThat being said, I will gladly address Ms*** complaints, I firmly disagree with the complaint that her RV was dirty including the toilet, we employ a fantastic full time person that does nothing but clean our RV's and she does a great jobWe addressed EVERY item not deemed wear and tear by the *** including reimbursing them for the fuel, propane and missing mattress*** *** needs to understand that when one's RV rents enough to earn them over $10K in rental profit yes there is going to be wear and tear and if you are going to leave a negative review over a missing front curtain tie cord then you likely should not put your coach into any rental fleet *** *** Woody RV Rentals, LLC *** *** - Office *** - Cell

I apologize for not responding to you sooner, we actually refunded this person’s deposit on 2/13/? We were very short on funds and that was the reason for the delay? He has been refunded in full for his security deposit

I am rejecting this response because the response is inaccurate and does not address the specific issues raised? To support our complaint, we have pictures, toll tag receipts and witnesses to the condition the RV was receivedWoody RV has reimbursed us ***) for a portion of what was requested, however, Woody RV has not shipped/replaced the missing awning strapWoody RV has also not provided the renter siand sign-out sheets of our RV to confirm a missing 3-day rental (though we have proof the RV was in the shop where Woody RV claims the RV was located).Though the amount reimbursed reimbursed is not for the full amount expected and though the missing awning strap has not been shipped to us, we do not wish to continue to banter with Woody RV on this issueIn the future, we will not recommend for people to do business with Woody RV?

The [redacted]'s picked up our 2011 Four Winds Majestic on Oct. 1, 2016.  They did a walk thru with one of my employees [redacted] that showed them how the RV worked and did a walk thru including notating damages.  When the [redacted]'s returned the RV to us on Oct. 4, 2016 they complained...

that the RV's, TV and Microwave did not work.  The only thing that will cause the Microwave and TV not to work not to mention the converter (a device that converts 110 to 12 volt and charges the battery at the same time).  The only thing that causes all 3 items to fail is plugging an RV into the wrong amperage of power.  Typically this happens when an RV is plugged into 220 vs. 110 and immediately fries the TV's, microwave and converter.  We held the $1500 because ALL 3 of these items were fully functional when the RV left our lot with the [redacted]'s, my contract clearly states that the way an RV leaves our lot is the way it is to be returned to us. The RV was NOT returned to us in the same condition it left our lot.  The total cost to replace all 3 of these items was $848.65 The amount refunded to the [redacted]'s is $651.35.
