Ms*** did purchase a *** *** from us for $5,650. A week or two after she bought the car she stated it would not start and the battery was dead. We told her she could bring it back to us and we would provide her with a car to use (which we usually do not provide). We let
her car sit for several days and the car never had any issues starting. Ms*** wrecked our car while she had it and her insurance company paid for the repairs minus a $deductible that she was responsible for to pay us. We did not ask for nor collect the $from Ms***. Later on at some point Ms*** brought the car back and said it wouldn't start for her again. We let the car sit overnight and it once again started for us with no issues. We took it to a mechanics shop and paid them to test the car for any batterydrains and even the mechanics shop could not find any drains or have any issues with the car starting. We even installed a new battery in the car for her at no charge. Sometime later she called us and stated that the car wouldn't start for her again and she wanted to take it to a mechanics shop she uses and we agreed. They inspected the car and told her that the fog lights were draining the battery and that they fixed it and the total was $307.70. Our warranty clearly states that it is a 50% Parts and Labor Warranty that covers the engine and transmission and excludes electrical items and the warranty is valid in our shop only. We stated to Ms*** that even though this wasn't included in the warranty we would pay her bill in full so we paid the $307.70. We never heard anything back from Ms*** until receiving this letter. She is now claiming that she still had a problem and her son in law fixed it but since we already paid her mechanic to fix it she should take it back to them. To date we paid $for a new battery, $deductible fee for her wrecking our car and $to her mechanic to fix her car. As another good will gesture we would reimburse Ms*** the cost of the alternator if she sends us a receiptWe feel we have gone way beyond what should be expected of us especially since it wasn't even part of the warranty and was simply helping her as a kind gesture. Please let us know if we cananswer any questions or provide further information

Per our conversation last to week, I don't think this issue will ever be resolved because the reason I wrote to you was an attempt to make the consumer checking the Revdex.com site aware of the experience I had with this businessI feel this car should never have been sold in the first place until a complete check of the car had been done. The check engine light came on a few days after I got the car and is still onBut it is finally running now, and that's all I care about(at least till inspection in June) And for the record, I did not "wreck" the carIt was just a fender benderI asked him to give me a call after he found out what he was going to do, but I never heard backI don't even know how much the bill wasI think I have the correct part to fix the "check engine" light, (something w/the exhaust/emissions) but now I'll have to pay several hundred to get someone to install it. No one can put a monetary compensation on what I've had to go through since I bought the carIn between the car not starting, having to call taxis, renting cars, having to get the car towed, having to take the car back to Woodyard Auto and other shops to try and find out was wrong, buying car parts that didn't fix the problem; not to mention all the stress and hassle of putting up with something I never should have had to go through, this whole fiasco has been ridiculous. Thanks for your time and assistance, *** ***

Review: I bought this car from Woodyard Auto back around 9/5/2014. I have had nothing but constant problems with the car ever since. They started about a week after I bought the car, when it wouldn't start one morning. I live quite a distance from the dealership but they said if I bring it back to them they would check it out. There was a 30 day warranty. I did take it back and to their credit they let me use a vehicle while they were working on the car. They kept the car for several cold days without driving it and they could not find a thing wrong with it. I even took it back another time but they still didn't fix it, so of course, after I got it home it continued to have problems w/not starting. I felt that the dealership had plenty of time to deal w/ the problem so I had it checked out by someone else and it was determined that something was draining power from the battery and there wasn't enough of a charge to start the car. All along I had been having to catch cabs back and forth to work and renting cars here and there, and towing the car when it died. I had to be buying batteries and paying for repair bills that still did not fix the problem. Woodyard Auto did pay for a $308 bill when one shop that worked on my car said it would fix the problem, which it did not. Finally my son in law determined it was the alternator, which he replaced, but the car still wasn't starting if it sat for a day without being driven, so as long as I drove it every day, it started. But this past Monday 4/6/15 the car started dying as I was on my way to work. I managed to make it home before it died, and had to take a cab to work. When my son in law came home, he said it had to be the battery this time, which had been losing charge while the bad alternator had been in. So he replaced the battery and it seems to be working OK now. I believe the alternator was already bad when I was sold the car back in Sept. and it should have been replaced before it was sold. I should not have been sold a lemon!!!Desired Settlement: Refund or reimbursement, if I don't have to come up w/receipts, cause I don't think I can retrieve them all.

Review: Bought a [redacted] ext cab. Steady stream of small problems . Go to trade in on a new truck and the dealership won't even touch it since the odometer was found to be rolled back not once, but twice. Found out it had almost 250,000 miles on it when I bought it. Also to mention the paperwork shuffle that wasn't caught until it was too late. They didn't report the unknown Mileage to the bank so they'd approve the financing, but rewrote the buyers order and slipped it in before I signed. Now I'm stuck with the truck. I'd love nothing more than to drive it through their doorDesired Settlement: Buy truck back for preliminary trade in offer based on current odometer reading, since double rollback was not disclosed.
