Review: On September 11, l914 I searched online for florists in the [redacted] area in order to send a plant to my sister-in-law whose father had just died. I wanted to send something alive while waiting to hear what charity to donate to. I found a florist called [redacted] that advertised "always free delivery". I called both numbers listed (###-###-#### and ###-###-####) with no response at either or a message. This is the first red flag that I should not have ignored. Called an hour later and did get a response and placed an order for a plant to be delivered on September 12. When I asked what the total charge to my card would be he said cost of plant, tax and delivery. I said the web site said "free delivery' and he said "oh, you saw that" and knocked off the delivery charge. (second red flag). On Sep. 12 $37.10 was debited from my account by A Wooster Square Flowers at phone # that you have listed for them which is disconnected. On Sep. 16 I called my brother to see if they got the plant and he and his wife concurred that they had not. I called the number that I had ordered the plant at and they said they would send the money back to my account. They did not do this and after a week I called again and he said he would do it that Saturday. Again, did not happen. Called another week later and he said it would be easier to send me a check and took down my information and said he was "writing the check as we speak". That was 3 weeks ago and still no check. Since they rarely answer the phone or it is routed to a cell phone with no identifying message and I have been lied to more than once, I no longer call them to resolve this issue. The address you have for Wooster Square Flowers is the one I have for [redacted] and the phone # you have is disconnected. I have Wooster Square at [redacted] with the phone numbers I listed above. So don't know where you should send thisDesired Settlement: Refund my payment as they seemed willing to do but never followed through on. And get better business practices.
