I am rejecting this response because of the untrue statements that continue , there are more than one in the statement from the contractor but the reason alone that caused me to make the complaint is that the " verbal agreement" was to replace the shutters, when they came to make repairs they brought ZERO shutters with them and said they were only there to "tighten and smooth" them out.? That was the trigger point for this process to begin, the fact we were promised replacements and then it didn't happen, also there is a mention of a bent that caused time and money, I was definitely surprised that the company decided to not replace the kitchen hood vent without consulting me and the decision was finally made to not replace it because there were much bigger issues that needed addressed, at no point did We instruct anyone to order a vent at all in fact we were told that it was "already ordered" this is the first I'm hearing that it was an issue, if the company would like to install it then that would give us more options in the future for remodeling that would be appreciated. We have recently been informed a lien was placed on the home on 12/29/and then told without immediate payment no repairs would be made. This damage was caused by Allside and hopefully will be repaired by themThe difference in verbal promises and what has been delivered at this point is unacceptable, I've not been in this situation before and would appreciate direction.

then showed up the day of the expectedreplacement to "tighten" the problem. Broken shutters, railings, damaged back roof, also took down smoothdamage free shutters and drilled holes through and put in plastic and caulk because in the owners words they"didn't know how" to install them correctly and also they didn't know how because it must be a new method eventhough they are 30 years old. Left live wires in an area open to the public and failed to replace top of door frameand porch rail posts and instead coveeed with thin white sharp Tim . It's been 60 days alto complete a "2 or 3 dayjob ""Upon our completion of the job on 11/1/16 repair items were discussed including the aforementionedexposed wires (which were repaired, therefor did not make the punch list) and a nonfunctional exhaustvent that was removed during construction as directed by Mr. [redacted]. After completion, Mr. [redacted]reconsidered his opinion on the vent and requested for us to reinstall the vent, therefor we ordered thevent (see attached bill). Upon further consideration of the vent omission (see photo of vent withplugged insulation) he accepted our current installation due to its nonfunctional nature. The changingcourse of direction resulted in lost time and money as we ordered the new vent while waiting on hisdirection to proceed.In effort to clarify the punch list we met on 12/9/16 with the following verbal agreement:1. Replace one damaged front shutter with black vinyl louvered style. Tighten 3 looseshutters and review the condition of all shutters. Upon review, we will replace all shutters ifnecessary with hidden fasteners if front attachment method does not appease homeowner.Shutter measurements: 2 pairs @ 15"x55", 1 pair @ 15"x81", 4 pairs @ 15"x47"2. Repair metal cap atop the hand rail end post by filing edge to a safe condition.3. Replace missing lattice end cap.4. Replace and repaint porch rail spindle.5. Repair gap in metal roof seam.6. Secure vinyl seam above garage to the left of "3715" address.7. Straighten and secure back porch light.On 12/21 we were on site to repair these items but were denied access to the property because of theshutter repair misunderstanding. Mr. [redacted] was expecting us to replace the shutters withoutattempting to repair the existing shutters. Without hesitation, I agreed to forgo our repair suggestionand move toward replacing the shutters with the rear attachment method - upon his approval of therevised punch list dated 12/21/16 (see attachment). All other items could have been completed on orbefore 12/21 if we were allowed to do so and if the vent replacement was clarified sooner.As of this writing Mr. [redacted] has not approved the revised punch list (see attachment). We will wait forhis written approval before proceeding as verbal agreements have led to confusion and inefficientclosure to the project.Please consider our effort to resolve Mr. [redacted]' repair issues before his complaint is published.
