Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 15, 2016/07/26) */ Window Source of the Ozarks has been in contact with the client. A install date has been set and confirmed (August 3rd). We did order the wrong size of replacement window, and were not able to stand behind our original installation timeline. We... deeply regret this error, and are committed to making sure our client will be satisfied with her window replacement, rotted trim repair and capping.
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/16) */
In response to *** complaint the windows that we were to install are measured and manufactured to fit each house and will not fit other housesWe took for a down payment the metal brake and slitterNormally we get half down in cash and
then the balance upon installationWe viewed the items were sufficient down payment for his jobUpon installation Mr*** would have owed the balance of $1,When our crew arrived and started to install the windows Mr*** became irate about the method our installers where going to use to install the windowsInsisting that was not the method he was told they would be installedThe method that he was insisting on would be against the instructions of installation from the manufacturer and against industry standards for installing replacement windowsThe salesman Duane *** has more than years experience of installing replacement windows as did the installer that had gone out on the job to install the windowsMr*** proceeded to go the pickup truck of one the workers and remove the metal brake from his truck and put it into his garageWe had had possession of that brake for the past three months (as down payment on his job so we would order his windows) and had been using itThe Willard Police were called and told Mr*** that he had to return the brake, that his removing it from our installers truck was not legal and he would be subject to theft if he did notHe compliedWe have tried to talk to him and install his windows per industry standards and per instructions from the manufacturer of the WindowsTo do it the way he wants it done would cost more than three times as much to install and they would not be installed correctWe would be willing to sell him the Windows for the $1,minus what we would have to pay our installers to install his windowsHe is welcome to then hire anyone he wants to install them the way he desires which in our opinion would be wrong and against the manufacturers installation guide
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2016/03/21) */
