apparent misunderstanding with Mr. [redacted].  In the past year, my son and I have done three small jobs (each job being contingent on our availability) for Mr. [redacted], and he was very complimentary of the work performance. The last one was just before Halloween this year. While we were there, Mr. [redacted] conveyed that he was planning on getting exterior cameras within the next week and asked us to install once he got them. Our next communication was in early December, could be on December 2nd, with him advising that he had finally gotten the cameras and wanted us to install them. I don't recall committing to getting back with him that next Monday, but did talk with him about the installation later that next week. A week or so later (unsure of the exact date), he and I talked and that both my son and I were sick with the flu. When we talked the following week, Mr. [redacted] called and conveyed that due to the rain, he thought it best to reschedule. At that time I thought I made it clear that we couldn't commit to a firm date and thought it might be after the holidays. The weather that week was forecasted at below zero temperatures and wind chill, snow and ice. On the morning of  December 19th, I received a voice mail  with his dissatisfaction. In our confusion, my son contacted Mr [redacted] and my son was told we were no longer allowed at his home, and was going to file a complaint. Please note, there was no written agreement to perform this work nor a date of performance so we were not under contract.  In response number of times Mr. [redacted] said he tried to get ahold of me via my cell phone, I can not confirm nor disagree how many times Mr. [redacted]  tried calling my cell as I have been working in a factory with no reception/miss call communications on my cell phone. I do feel that if he couldn't get ahold of me, he knew my son was part of the business and could have contacted him on his cell number (listed via advertising and on our business shirts) or on my home phone, clearly noted as Workman Builders in the phone book. I do feel this was a misunderstanding, and unfortunate that he has received vandalism, but do not accept fault as we, again, were not under written agreement on timing of this job. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  Well, unfortunately, only part of Mr T[redacted]'s statement is true.  He was not under a contractual agreement.  Everything else is untrue.  I left numerous messages and none were returned.  Saying he had no reception is what one might expect from a teenager. He told me he didn't return the call because he had a cold (not the flu).  He said he would contact me back but never did. It's sad people feel the need to lie/harass when the truth works so much better.
