RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I was never offered any level of discount for the tricycle even though we were told it would ship in 6 weeks. While I understand this is not an "off the shelf" item, this company knew that when the order was placed and gave us that time frame. My husband did become angry and we told this company we would have to report this to the BBB as we felt there was no other choice. The bike was not only 2 weeks late, but 4 weeks late.( June*-Aug **) We had been told many times by the employees that it was ready to ship and that we were in fact talking to the person in charge that we really did not believe anyone who spoke with us after all of those conversations. The way my husband took the "offer to refund" was as more of a threat to cancel the order since we did not appear grateful that the employees had to work a weekend to finish the product. Which, honestly, I could care less if they had to work extra because when I do not complete my work at my job, I also work until it is done. It is unfortunate that such stress was created over something that should have been a joyous occasion and I would only hope this does not happen to another family. Since receiving the bike, we have really enjoyed it and people ask where it came from. I tell them it is a great product, but just make sure you have 3 months to wait if you were to buy one. I am asking for 10% of the purchase price refunded as this entire situation was inappropriate, and I truly believe if the BBB was not involved, we may not have ever gotten the tricycle. The person making this complain was correct that we were two weeks late in making the customized Tricycle for their daughter compared to the originall estimated date. Once it was brought to my attention by the customer , we had our staff work on a Saturday and Sunday in order to complete the...

tricycle so it would ship on Monday as I had promised . I might add it was over 100 degrees in our factory that weekend, so our staff really made the effort.Then the father demanded we pay all the freight at which point I told him we would gladly refund his money as we could not pay the freight as the cost to ship this tem is in excess of $300. he started threatening that he would call the Revdex.com and bad mouth us on social media. I again offered to refund his money at which point he said please just ship the tricycle, which we did.So while I can understand his disappointment and fully understand that a child with special needs should have every opportunity possible to enjoy a bike riding experience, there was no need to contact the Revdex.com as we took care of their issue.we estimate delivery dates and their tricycle was not an off the shelf item.We work so hard to try to saifsy all of our customers, which is one reason we've been in business for 118 years.Thank you
