Workxpress is solid company for building websites, they have a process that helps you share your idea with the developers which maps out everything. The sales staff is excellent about answering questions and follow-up as you go through the build. Just make sure you ask questions about terminology you mat not understand as tech people have their own language

"Bait & Switch Sales Tactics"
Workxpress submitted a proposal to me in response to a RFP involving software development; they made the initial contact through a freelancing website (PeoplePerHour.com). They "baited me" with their proposed quote of $1500 to complete the specs that I listed.
After several telephone conversations, the $1500 proposal resulted in a $7100 contract. Two years later, I've spent $22,050 and they were still trying to "upsale" me on features. They claim that I owe them $6,000 for web server & hosting.
When I complained, another "new contact person" would waltz into the conversation like a French masquerade ball and leave as quickly as he entered the conversation. Any delays on their part were due to "efforts made to provide me with better service."
I told CEO, Treff L[redacted], this whole experience is almost comical if didn't involve them taking $22,050 of my hard-earned money & wasting 2 years when they were contracted to delivery in approx. 3-4 months as he attempted to bully me by stating he would demand another $6,000 for the unpaid portion plus attorneys fees and court costs.
Buyer Beware!!!

SERVOLIFT LLC is a leading supplier of Material Handling and Process equipment to the Pharmaceutical Industry. In 2006, we realized we needed to combine all of our disconnected data (excel, access, paper files,.. ) into one company-wide application. We could not find an out of the box solution.
Using the WorkXpress tools, I personally developed the application that handles most aspects of our business including Quoting (beautifully formatted PDF's with pictures of our products emailed directly from the software in just a few clicks), Project Management, BOM, Scheduling, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Customer order entry, Inventory, Commissions, Employee Training, PTO Management, Quality Control, custom reports .....and so much more. The robust automation and ease of use are simply amazing! I continue to find new ways to use the software to improve efficiency and boost the performance of our employees.
In the time we have been using WorkXpress, our company has more than doubled in size and the software has helped us manage that.
Regarding support - WorkXpress is outstanding. They respond quickly and even after hours and weekends if critical.

Review: I originally went into contract with WorkXpress in November of last yearI was told at that time that my website would be completed by January or FebruaryAfter not completing my project within the original timeframe I was told that the company went through restructuring which ultimately caused a delay in my projectWorkxpress reached out to me around March with a website however it did not reach the original agreed upon specificationsWe were able to come to an agreement about moving forward with the necessary changesI informed the company of my upcoming trade show and told them of how important it was to have my website at least to some degree completed by that timeThe tradeshow was approximately months away from the date we spoke about it which was ample time for them to have made some of the agreed upon changesIt was promised to me that I would be updated with a schedule on the progress of my projectI have reached out to my contact person, [redacted] to set up a phone conference to discuss the project schedule however I have not been able to get in touch with him in regards to a time frameMy trade show is now weeks away and I still have not been updated on my progress, my website is not completed, and have not received a call back to discuss my projectI have tried to be reasonable and understanding in dealing the delaysI even asked that it is a possibility that the website will not be ready by the time I need, please teach me how to use program that was presented to me in April before the necessary changesI was then told that in order for them to teach me how to use the application they made for me, I would have to pay themThey have not delivered a product or service up to the expectations that they originally set and have made me as a customer feel less than a priority.Desired Settlement: I would like for WorkXpress to complete my project within a timely mannerI would also like to be updated with a progress schedule so that I know what type of time frame we are working withI believe I am very reasonable and easy to work with and would appreciate improved communication and more of a sensitivity to timeWe are already months behind schedule with my project and I feel as though I am being treated as though my project is not important

The people at WorkXpress are polite, first class listeners, generate visually attractive and reliable products on time. I have experience with several other software development firms and none approaches the level of support, responsiveness, or quality finished product that WorkXpress produces on a routine basis.
They often conceive of features I hadn't previously thought of and are experts at simplifying complex projects.
I highly recommend WorkXpress to anyone considering outsourcing their software development because WorkXpress will EASILY outperform internal software groups OR other outsourced software groups, for that matter. They are first class people performing a first class job. You can't go wrong with WorkXpress.
