World Law Debt

After Having a credit I found myself in lots of credit card debt, Never late for a payment though.I Began working with World law in June of 2013, to reduce my debt.They instructed me to stop making payments to my creditorsInstead They drafted $from my bank account every month until July of At this time they were changing their banking, from Global Solutions to some other company, never fully understoodAbout this time I started receiving notices that Discover was going to file a judgment against for the money I owed themTheir lawyers would craft some papers and I would have to take them to the Circuit Court of City of ChicagoProbably did this or timesWent to court or times, each time on my ownThey would have a lawyer call and tell me what to say, and then after my appearance was instructed to call them to let them know the outcomeIt would take days to finally reach someone to tell them the outcomeI would speak to these people at least once a weekI never got the same story twice from the legal assistants that answered the phone, one would tell me to do one thing and another would tell me to do something entirely differentI had accounts that needed to settledDiscover was the only one who had threatened to sue meTo make a long story short, I decided I was doing all this running around and not getting anywhereNone of my other accounts had been settled, I asked every time I spoke to someoneI could no longer make these payments to them and found a Bankruptcy Lawyer and he advised me to file BankruptcyI thank God I had sense enough to stop paying these people, I did submit in writing in December of 2014, that I would no longer need their servicesThey informed that any money owed to me would be sent to me in days, never heard anything from themTo my surprise I received a that they forwarded me from Chase Bank, because in August of chase forgave my debtI find it odd that they did not tell me that back them I sure spoke to them enoughThey have over $of money that they say was for their fees and lawyer feesThis company needs to be stopped from preying on people trying to get relief from debt, it just is not fair!

I was recently sending payments to World Law Group at [redacted] Austin, TX Their pho ne number was [redacted] opt2, Fax: [redacted] , World Law Processing, [redacted] Austin, TX Last August was when I received my last email from them saying "my payment was received and to give them to working days for processing" All the rest of the payment was received and just recently I have received payment from May until now World Law Group settled a couple of my bills but I have not heard anything else from them It took the US Postal Service all this time to return my the mail that I sent them starting from May until now I have learned that World Law Group have to pay money back to CFBS "World Law is alleged to have taken $million from at least 21,consumers before providing any debt-relief servicesThe Bureau has obtained an order in U.SDistrict Court that halts World Law’s operations and freezes defendant

World Law did the same to me, I dealt with William M*** and he basically stole my money, nothing was done to my account and now I have creditors after meThey took well over from me and I am still fighting to get it backI would never do business with this company again!! DON'T TRUST THEM!

I hired World Law services to save my money to negociate payments with my credit cards I owedWe had problems in the first year and some of the money had been sent backIn the end world Law has $of my moneyI want them to pay me back in full

This unprofessional unethical company plus rude employee, changed my address and disbursed what funds that were sitting in my account there to pay/settled 2nd of the Credit Cards I had been making large monthly deposits cashed by World LawThe employees admitted to cutting check to address I know nothing of and made the check out to Another person without my name any where on the check I was robbed by World Law guilt was admitted and refused to give me back any of the moneyAll my information was current with them in my file and they did so without any consideration to me at all(no letter,phone call, email ect )I was talked down and challenged to do something about it by a male employee because he knew U was a femaleI gave them alot of money only one card paid off and the illegal check sent out for $2,or more was never recovered back to meI never got any return phone calls from World Law and was told they did not care when I called by Men in charge, employees even reit

World Law collected money from me for years,(from Novthru Oct 2014) with a promise they would settle my debtI paid $a month for all yearsI also sent them a check for $7,which I received form Global Client Solutions who was keeping track of my monies that I had paid in to World LawI had credit cards they were going to help me settleOne of them was Discover CardThe other cards were settled and I was issued a *** from the credit card companiesDiscover Card Lawyers have taken me to court and have a judgement against me and have also tried to garnish money out of my bank accountsI have left phone messages with World Law to contact me, Sent emails with no response, and now they will not answer their phoneWhat can I do to get the balance of my payments back so I can try to Settle with Discover Card

I ended up in the same boat as the long review I just readWorld Law did nothing for me except take my moneyNever paid creditorThey finally got to me for almost $and I did not get the balance that was in my "client portal"I also found a lawyer who advised me to stop paying them and put stop payments on the checks they had not cashedI missed one and they cashed it in a hurryThat money was returned to me by a trusteeI just filed bankruptcy and debt was discharged two weeks agoWorld Law should be made to return monies to the clients they scammed

I had given this company for approximately monthsI signed the contract on 2/11/and they stopped services and took my money in 9/They were to contact my credit card company's that I enrolled in their program and settle them at a lower cost, so that I can resume good creditThey were a credit specialist's that were to help me with my debtThey have closed their doors apparently and I have lost out on my money and my credit is more of a mess than it was prior to dealing with themU want all of my money back so that I can try to resolve this unjustified mess they put me in

Payed this company around or more to help settle debtThey did not settle with some cards and now we are being suedThey took our money and did nothing Credit was ruined and husbands check has now been garnished

This business is a scam. I trusted them to help me resolve / settle my debt for the last three years and I'm just now finding out that it was all a scam and I have to deal with my creditors now on my own. shame on this "company" for deceiving the public and betraying their trust!

About this time I started receiving notices that Discover was going to file a judgment against for the money I owed them. Their lawyers would craft some papers and I would have to take them to the Circuit Court of City of Chicago. Probably did this 5 or 6 times. Went to court 2 or 3 times, each time on my own. They would have a lawyer call and tell me what to say, and then after my appearance was instructed to call them to let them know the outcome. It would take days to finally reach someone to tell them the outcome. I would speak to these people at least once a week. I never got the same story twice from the legal assistants that answered the phone, one would tell me to do one thing and another would tell me to do something entirely different. I had 4 accounts that needed to settled. Discover was the only one who had threatened to sue me. To make a long story short, I decided I was doing all this running around and not getting anywhere. None of my other accounts had been settled, I asked every time I spoke to someone. I could no longer make these payments to them and found a Bankruptcy Lawyer and he advised me to file Bankruptcy. I thank God I had sense enough to stop paying these people, I did submit in writing in December of 2014, that I would no longer need their services. They informed that any money owed to me would be sent to me in 30 days, never heard anything from them. To my surprise I received a 1099 that they forwarded me from Chase Bank, because in August of 2014 chase forgave my debt. I find it odd that they did not tell me that back them I sure spoke to them enough. They have over $8000.00 of money that they say was for their fees and lawyer fees. This company needs to be stopped from preying on people trying to get relief from debt, it just is not fair!
