8-18-To whom it may concern,This letter is in regard to the Revdex.com claim #*** Looking back to my Invoice #*** swapped tires for on *** *** HD Heritage as per requested by *** *** which I have done multiple job for in the past
I was told they were going to be going on a Sturgis trip and needed the bike to be gone through as I did *** Bike days earlier invoice #*** I changed the front tire in question because it showed cracks and was at the wear bars As I do all tire swaps the tire and wheel combination was balanced on a high *** digital tire balance machine*** claims that the indicator dot on the tire was 180* out, which is because in balancing the wheel tire combination it showed over ozOf weight needed to balance the combination This is quite typical on spoked wheels, so the tire is clocked 180* to compensate for it If the wheel would have been severely bent the combination would have never balanced This is a typical situation and practice in the industry At no time was the wheel put on a truing stand or any spokes tightened as the invoice showsI don't true wheel on a practice in a tire swap nor did I charge for it I was accused of bending the rotor in the tire swap as well The video that was sent to me was in my professional opinion a warp caused by heat, not a bend that would have been extremely worse.I worked on *** HD Roadking on 7-7-Invoice # *** and he was satisfied enough to bring me *** bike in for work on 7-16-Invoice #*** *** personally rode *** bike (the bike in question ) miles home from my shopThen on 7-29-*** came to me and had me exchange a front tire he missordered and mount the exchanged tire I had in inventory on his HD Roadkings front wheel *** didn't have a complaint at that point about a vibration in his wife's bike.I never got a chance to look at the wheel/tire combination in question, because they were not in town to give me the opportunity to As I was never given the opportunity to help this customer before I was verbally attacked through a txt messageIn the txt he states "this kind of *** could of caused my wife to crash and that *** me off" At this point of the situation I am being pushed into a corner and can't help this "*** off individualSo I replied the I was done with this and asked *** to back of* proceeded to txt" You may think you're "done with this", we're notNot by a long shot"Again I feel there is nothing a can do in this situation at this point and am done of being threatened, so I told him to have a good day.So then I get a Revdex.com claim from a *** ***, and this is my side of the issue in the claim #***

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The Business owner failed to recognize that we did not request a front tire change at any time. I specifically told him to replace the rear tire, replace the rear brakes, since you have the tire off, replace all three can's lubrication fluid. I did ask him to check over the bike and advise on any problems. In good faith he may have intended to do the right thing by replacing the front tire. But since the mounting and balancing problems caused so much damage The bike is still unsafe to ride. The Rotor did not squeak when he got the bike to do the work, only after he did the work did it squeak.I have all of the text messages, Photos and videos to prove my point including his Initial denial of that coming out of his shop. He told me I need to Back-off, that [redacted] did not come out of my shop. What does he really think we went to another shop to have them intentionally mess it up ? As a business owner he simply should have stated: On first incident.- Bring it in and Ill take a look at the rotor. Second incident. - I can only fix the problem when you return. Be careful with it, Ride at a reduced speed. We'll take care of it when you return. Ultimately I'm the one losing more and more money on this deal. I've still got a bad wheel with leaky shock seals. That did not have either of those problems upon entering his shop. My only resolution will be to have World of Mayhem pay [redacted] to order a new Front wheel ( Rim ) and Fork seals and have The Certified Harley Davidson mechanics lace up the wheel and remount the metzeler onto it and replace the Left front shock seal. Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Billy himself says he has ADA. I Asked him if he needed to write it down on the day I dropped the 2011 Heritage off. He said No I got it. ( NO BILLY YOU DIDNT GET IT, YOU messed with the front tire and rushed me out of the shop as fast as you could so you could drop Oil off for recycling when I went to pick it up Saturday ).  I mentioned on my original complaint and subsequent ones... I rode the wife's heritage from his Shop in SeaTac to my home in Shoreline. I usually never take this bike on the freeway, I rode it down to his shop on a busy commute time weekday and dropped it at lunch. I did observe the vibration on the freeway back home on the Saturday a few days later. But again, my daily is a Road King and I'm not used to softails. The very next day, It was bent . It wasn't before it was clearly warped after he serviced it...  So who knows what happened. The fact is He serviced my wife's Bike and screwed it up. So I'm the one with a bad front wheel. It just mysteriously happened.  Strange enough, I learned that the Take Off from the 2011 Heritage was a 2006.. ??? Don't think so Billy keep fabricating excuses Sincerely,[redacted]

To whom it may concern,
This letter is in regards to the rejection in the complaint # [redacted].    The complainant states that he did not request a front tire. I made a special trip to [redacted] to get the front tire because I was out of stock. This is not typical because I don't get my wholesale price as I do from my warehouse I get tire from regularly. I only did this cause I was told they wanted new tires for this trip. The front tire on this bike had a DOT date code from 2006 and showed its age (I still have this tire). I didn't change a tire that wasn't ready to be changed.  There may have been confession in the beginning stating or not stating both tires or just the rear tire, but I thought they said both and the front tire needed to be replaced to make this trip safely.
As far as the issue of the mounting and balancing of the tire goes. I use modern equipment and follow industry standards every time I change a tire. The complantant rode 20.5 miles home from my shop with no issues, then came back to my shop couple days later for a front tire on his bike. There was no concerns stated on that visit about said tire. There are countless things that could have happened along the trip that could have caused the bike's conditions.
As far as the issue of me telling him to back off. I was never given a chance to from the get go. [redacted] contacted me on my personal cell phone on my day off through text. In this initial text I was told " My wife's front wheel is bent.. The freaking tire was not balanced and the combination vibrated so much over 1200 miles I think it blew the left front shock seal".   There has never been a tire mounted and not balanced that came out of my shop. I follow industry standard, use modern equipment and follow tried and true method each time. Again I will say [redacted] rode this bike 20+ miles home from my shop without issue A fork being vibrated, even if it was for 1200 miles, wouldn't blow a for seal. This conversation continued until [redacted] said " Dude this kind of [redacted] could have caused my wife to crash and that [redacted] me off". At that point I was done being attacked on my day off, on my personal phone by someone that does not have knowledge in what he is ranting about.   I sorry something happened that made his trip bad but ranting at me for something I didn't do nor have control over was not going to help things, so I was done.
I did the work that I charged for and followed industry standard in doing so. I run a very reputable shop and have a great reputation from doing so. I would have liked to been given the opportunity to look at the bike before I was accused of malice and now have a Revdex.com complaint issued against my company.
