I brought my idea to World Patent Marketing two years ago. My experience from the very beginning was for the most part very positive. This was the first company I trusted my idea to after looking through all the competition. I have been pinching myself ever since to make sure this is really happening.
About a year ago, my idea that I was in the process of patenting ,caught the eye of CEO Scott Cooper. I guess he was intrigued by my off the wall, nutty idea. He surprised me with a phone call and wanted to know more about it. Shortly after and a couple more meetings and I was offered an exclusive licensing deal -with the exception that I remain open to perhaps some modifications. . The concept stayed intact but the way Scott envisioned delivering this idea has taken on a whole new life of its own. He has incredible vision and passion for creating new products that Many people will want. . I trust him completely and have learned so much that I never in a million years could have imagined knowing. I am blown away by the incredible collaboration and amazing talent He keeps delivering. The art, the graphics, the video talent at this company is bringing to life what was once just an idea. It is an incredible feeling to be on this journey with so much talent and energy. I can say in all honesty that this is a company who delivers and they are truly the whole package. If you are someone who has an idea that just won't let you sleep at night, I would recommend calling them. You just never know if your idea just might be the next great idea. Be flexible though and trust the experts. They know what part of your idea is great and how to morph into something not only tangible but most profitable for Both of you. One other piece of advice I'd like to give is this: be patient throughout the process. It takes time to not only develop a great idea but to bring all the moving parts together towards a finished product.
One last word, for me it was so important to work with a company that not only delivers on what they say they will do, but who also gives back to those in need in this world of ours. And, take a look at their Board members, as well. I am proud to be a part of this company.

Buyer Beware!! Nothing about my experience with World Patent Marketing leads me to believe they are anything but a very slick scam that has poured big bucks into web presence and fake reviews. I purchased an "intelligence report" from WPM for $995 that was supposed to have researched the market, current patents etc to provide "intelligence" as to the marketability of my idea. As many have stated, this report came back with a glowing prognosis for my product idea, with several very excited calls from [redacted] encouraging me to take the next step by purchasing "core services". Being a busy guy, and having seen very few negative reports in about 30 min worth of searching, I bit on the core services with the idea that my idea was unique in the market, and that the "core services" would help me put together a strategy and marketing documents to move to the step of pursuing a license agreement. Instead, after paying the $10,000 for "Core services" I am asked by Janice to answer a bunch of questions that had already been answered in the original disclosure. In the mean time I have notified [redacted] that I would like to not publish anything until I get a provisional patent filed. In the process of completing the provisional application, I find there is another patent filed a couple years ago that very closely describes my product. Turns out there are only a handful of related US patents, and all patents were found by entering just two main key words from my product description. This patent and all the others were omitted from the "intelligence report" thus leading me to believe that the "core services" was a reasonable next step because there was no applicable prior art. While I think there may be a way to take my idea to market, WPM did not provide accurate research in the initial stage and now a month in has not delivered a single item described in the Core services, except to email me and tell me that as soon as I give permission to publish, they [redacted] send me a copy of a press release. Of course I do not want a press release published without first seeing it, and my request to review the document has gone unanswered.

I have requested a full refund of the "core services" fee of $10,000 and have gotten nothing but bullying tactics and redirection from [redacted]. When I asked for a referral to one of their "contracted patent attorneys" my request was brushed off by sending me to [redacted], some guy in their manufacturing division. Every request for a referral to company or entity that has profited from interaction with WPM has been unanswered or evaded. I can only conclude that the "success stories" are as fake as the rest of their site.
