We do have an automatic renewal feature so that our members can enjoy continued uninterrupted access, without having to re-subscribe every month. The automatic renewal feature can be canceled at any time by the member or if the re-billing is denied by the member's financial institution. Once the re-billing has been canceled or denied, we are not able to retroactively reinstate a rate that is no longer available. Any new purchase and subsequent automatic renewals will be at the then current subscription rate. World Singles Terms and Conditions section 13 - Subscriptions; Charges on Your Billing Account fully explains our online account billing services.We are happy to note that since our last communication, Mr. [redacted] has purchased a new membership and is again fully using our services. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  Here are the reasons why I am dissatisfied with the response from the business:1. Her claim that the company has never offered a lifetime rate to any customer is a bold-face lie, which I can easily prove.  I'd be happy to provide my monthly bank statements going back over a DECADE that shows you they've deducted exactly $7.95 per month from my checking account, each and every month for over TEN YEARS! In fact, if my bank had not expired the charge-card attached to my checking account early and erroneously in September, they still would be charging me this amount, and the company would continue to honor it just as they always have.  This ONE manager "[redacted]", and she alone is my problem. All the rest are very nice folks. She is therefore, underhandedly using this unfortunate bank error as an excuse to dishonor the lifetime pledge of $7.95 per month that the company gave me long before her time in 2005.  I would like to have a chance to speak to the president of the company, NOT [redacted], to tell him the full extent of just how horribly she has treated me, and just how many phone calls, messages, and emails she has cavalierly ignored. 2. The manager [redacted] had forbidden her subordinate employees from helping me resolve my situation, and had claimed she had forwarded my concerns to the president of the company just as I had demanded. I believe this is yet another lie from her as I have never heard from anyone other than just her. Notice also, how any name/signature is conspicuously missing from her response to the you!!! Where is the company's president's signature, or anyone else's for that matter? Isn't that a bit fishy to you?3. Due to her personal dislike of me, she is trying to force me off that website, which I don't believe she has ANY right to do.  I very much intend to stay on that site as I have been for 12+ years (long before she even know the company existed, let alone become such a dishonest part of it)! In fact, there are at least two women who have messaged me through that site and are waiting to hear from me, but due to our current impasse, I am unable to communicate with them.  And by the way, this lone-operator "[redacted]" has already cost me one wonderful acquaintance as the person, who had expressed interest in me no longer lists herself with that site.4. I would like to have a conversation/communication with the president of the World Singles at once.  [redacted] has been lying to him, if she's been telling him anything at all. I believe I can easily come to a mutually agreeable resolution with the president, as long as [redacted]'s lies and dubious conduct are not a part of the equation. [redacted]

Review: I am am getting contacts from people on their dating service that I can't contact. This is too common for your site. I keep getting this error "This profile is currently unavailable."

Do these people even exist or are these FAKE People that you plant on the website to spark interest?

Personally I think that this is fraud!

If I pay for unlimited use "PLATINUM membership" of the website then I should be able to contact anyone especially if they contacted me.

Review: Hi, I was a customer of this dating service, both unpaid and paid, years ago. Then I was an unpaid member (non premium membership) for years. I bare$760. They used the site. I decided to purchase a $39.99 Premium membership for ONE MONTH in January 2013. I intended to cancel in a month. When I tried, I saw there was nowhere on the EligibleGreeks.com site to do so. When you call the alleged California World Singles number, or any of their numbers in the UK, Greece or elsewhere, you get the same answering machine message and NO person answering. Then you get emails from alleged faces like Marina or Christina. I forgot at times to stop payment due to my mother being diagnosed with cancer, the loss of a job and landlord court in 2013 and 2014. Upon conducting other CHASE business online, I saw they were charging my checking account $40 a month since January 2013, for an estimated to total of $760. They refunded me my June payment of $40, but I would like a refund of $680 for the rest of the money. I DID NOT use my premium membership except for maybe five emails in a year and a half. And, I was propositioned for a sexual type activity and a member. I don't think they screen their members. THIS IS THIEVERY. Please get me my money back, especially in light of my past two years. Thank you!Desired Settlement: A refund of $680 for all remaining month minus the one month they can keep.

Review: I had subscribed to the Eligible Greeks Website in October, 2013 and agreed to pay for a one month membership in the amount of 39.99. On my bank statement, I was charged for the one month membership I had subscribed for on October 23, 2013 for the amount of 39.99 and the subscription was to end a month later on November 23rd, 2013. Though I had only subscribed for a one membership starting on October 23rd, 2013 and ending on November 23rd, 2013, eligible Greeks billed me me on November 20th, 2013 in the amountof 39.99, then again on December 20th, 2013 in the amount of 39.99, then again on January 19th, 2014 in the amount of 39.99. Since I had only agreed to pay for the one month subscription, I decided to contact the World Singles company.I have called and left at least two messages on the World Singles answering machine and received no call back. I have also e-mailed World Singles on numerous occasions and did not receive a reply back regarding this matter. I would like to be refunded for the three months I had not agreed to pay for through the Eligible Greeks Website.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded by Eligible Greeks in the amount of 39.99 for the month of November 2013, 39.99 for the month of December 2013 and 39.99 for the month of January 2014.
