was very mislead. I believe this is criminal conduct
in feb 2019 was contacted and promised to rent weeks I have through interval international. have been unable to reach anyone there for a year now, and believe they are no longer in business. the email or phone number neither work. I have lost $798 and feel completely robbed. I spoke with interval international and was informed I could not rent my weeks through wtc. complete scam. I am sure they were put out of business and the money is gone. just hope no one else falls for this scam.

Desired Outcome

wish for full refund due to no delivery. the only offers i received over a year ago were not available and weren't even an int. world property. feb 2020 was the last time an email went through but with no response. now no delivery as of july 2020 the address is no good

I signed up on 1/7/19 and was told I would receive $1600 for 6 weeks of getaways and after 6 months I was told it would be remarket at their expense.
It's been over a year since I gave them my money ($1800) and now the phone isn't working. I have been told over and over to be patient and now the phone isn't working. The company is a scam and I want all my money back - Viewing numerous complaints online I see they are scamming people and this HAS to stop. Please have them refund all my money.

Desired Outcome

I want my $1800 refunded immediately I don't want anything else to do with this company. I have tried to call over and over with no avail.

Was solicited by this company to purchase my getaway weeks on our timeshare for$7,000. Credit card was charged $1596. No $ received. Cannot contact.
On February 11, 2019.I was solicited by phone by this company to purchase 4 of our 6 getaway timeshare units in Florida. I was promised a payment of $7,000 for the 4 weeks. My credit card was charged $1596 for administration fees on February 22. I have heard nothing from them and the phone number I was given is not in service.(877)***.

Desired Outcome

I wish to receive my $1596.00.

I've requested a refund they have done nothing I have rented out my timeshare and in their contract it states if I rent it out they will refund money
I have requested a full refund for $798. I have spoken to Miss P was very rude and disrespectful. In the contract it states if I rent out my timeshare I would get a refund. I was informed to mail them the information showing that my timeshare will be used when I asked for an email they gave me bogus emails that do not work I asked please send me something via email and I will reply to that she said no I said please send me proof of what you've done she said no I tried to respond to an email I have on file from them it shows that it is not an active email account. The only email I could find was online and that was if you wanted to book something I sent my information via that way and informed Miss P. She is refusing my refund and this company is a complete scam. They state that they have had offers and that I did not respond I asked to please forward me those emails where are you show I've had offers she said we do not have that. I asked please show me the proof of where you've done any advertising or listing of my timeshare she said we do not do that we do not have that anything that I've requested to show that some sort of work has been done on their side was denied and refused. I recently have rented out my timeshare myself and Miss P herself agreed that I would get a refund if I rented out however they're refusing to give contact information where to send my email. I am expecting a full refund

Desired Outcome

The resolution I am seeking is the $798 refund. And that the Revdex.com do something to take care of this scam of a company.

Customer Response • Jun 10, 2019

I was able to resolve my complaint using my credit card company. Please close this case. Thank you for your assistance.

World Travel Club missrepresented services being offerer via unsolicited phone sales.
On October 18, 2018 I received an unsolicted sales call from World Travel Club. They indicated that for a fee of $1197 they would find clients who would use my existing points that I have via RCI (vacation travel company). I was told that they could find these clients normally in 60 days. I have received 1 set of rental dates to review. None of them had availability through my travel company. I was told I was sent another offer that I didn't respond to. They suggested I check my spam file. They did no follow-up to assure my receipt of the offer. Regardless, two offers in 221 days does not come anywhere close to delivering their promised results. I did sign a
"DocuSign" contract that I would guess relieves them of time frame accountability. I believe the salesmen misrepresented the service and misrepresented my ability to get money back in case of non-performance. I am asking to get my funds returned due to none performance and misrepresentation of services being offered. So far they have refused.
I was told that their contract included a 10 day termination window. 10 days hardly provides any relief for 221 days of non-performance.

Desired Outcome

Refund of my $1197.00

I too was scammed by the World Travelers Club. They told me they would advertise and rent out my timeshare and never did. They received $500 out of my checking account and have delivered nothing but empty promises. I paid them in November of 2018 and have not received any offers yet. When I called back in February they sent me on a wild goose chase. They told me they had two offers and told me to call Interval International when they already knew the response was going to be negative. They need to be put out of business and all employees should be put in jail. They trick u into contracts by guaranteeing u a positive return. They are full of* and are a disgrace to all legitimate business. Please SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!

We are very sorry that this has been brought to the Revdex.com. After this client signed up with us, we handled this account according to the agreement. We take several steps to make sure there was no miscommunication and no one was misled. We definitely encourage our clients to reach out to us before having to contact a 3rd party. Please be advised that the Revdex.com cannot help you get a refund. We do inform the client that upon signing the contract, they have a 60-90 day turnaround time for offers. The client signed up with us on 11/30/2018, as promised, we sent the first set of offers on 1/29/2019 & unfortunately received no response from the client. That does delay the process & unfortunately we are seeing the consequences of it now. The offers we generate are at our clients requests so unfortunately if they are not available that is beyond our control. We will continue to fulfill our contractual obligations & abide by the contract. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It has now been 5 months and 19 days since your salesman "***" or whoever he is persuaded me to "invest" into this marketing scam. I was promised a return in 30-90 days of my initial $500 to make $1800. Here I am with a total loss of the $500, not a cent back in return, and have left at least 20 calls to the number that the "***" *** left for me to call him at any time if I had any questions or concerns. I get no answer, and when I call WorldTravelers I am told that he is at the convention center now. But they don't have a direct dial number to call to talk to him. I have made more than 50 calls since Dec. 2018 and talked to "***" ***"
"***" "***" and a number of other females who supposedly work there. I have left messages for ***, and *** who is supposed to be a supervisor, who according to her and others that she is THE SUPERVISOR and does not have anyone above her. I have gotten 8 offers, which 6 of those offers to sell my weekly get away from my *** were conveniently 1 day away with the week/date of which was available to sell. One of the offers *** had never heard of the resort. I was told early on by my *** that this was a scam, but I had faith in WorldTravelersClub and didn't report it to my bank as I was advised by ***. On Friday, April 19 I did follow up on the 3 offers that were sent to me and one of the offers was available to use on the dates. I confirmed with WorldTravelers that the date was available to please get the week sold so I could get my investment back.I have since called 4 times to see if they got it sold and have been told that they could not get back in touch with the client to book. I have gotten empty promises every time that I call and my trust level is -0- with you all. Do you rip off everyone like this? Every time I call I am placed on hold for 10-20 minutes waiting for the next CSR, then placed on hold for just a "Second" while they check my file, another 5-10 minutes. And am told they are doing their "best" to market my property to get an investment. And the only way to get my $500 back is if sell the getaway week my self, ot if another company sells it for me. I am not that stupid to fall for another scam if someone calls me wanting to "Market" my timeshare getaway weeks...well you know where I will tell to them to go?. I should have known better to begin with on November 16, I am just glad that I didn't go with the 3-4 week offer "***" had, I would have lost $1500-$2000. I hope that ***, ***, *** and others can lay their head down at night to sleep with a clear conscience as they are getting their paycheck by ripping off poor souls like myself who barely make ends meet to pay their morgage and electric bill. FYI I just made a call to *** at the Revdex.com in Florida to file a complaint against you. The solution: just send me my $500 back and I will leave you alone. *** 931-***-

Desired Outcome

Since it has been 5 months and 19 days since the original offer to give a return on my investment and I was promised a return 30-90 days. I just want my money back $500.00. This is obviously a scam. I have called them over 50 times since 12/18 and all I get are empty promises, that someone will call me back. I have yet to receive a call back from them. They promise to market your timeshare, ***, or Traveler's Plus week and in return of your payment of $500 to them to market it you will earn $1800 back in 30-90 days.

Hello, WorldTravel agency sends my husband and me information on how to sell our time share. After speaking to Kelli in August, 2018. I was told that our time share can be rented out for $1800 per week. We have 4 weeks that can be rented out with Interval International Resort and World Travels explained that in order to rent out the time share we will have to pay $399, which is the owners cost. I decided to only rent out two weeks of our time share and a payment of $798.00 was paid to World Travels on August 7th, 2018.
After submitting the payment World Travels were not very helpful and noncompliance with getting back to me regarding the dates to rent out the time share. The dates were eventually sent on 10/19/2018, I followed up with my time share Interval International Resort to see if those dates were available only to be told that the places and dates that WorldTravel requested did not match. I then followed up with Interval International Resort directly, and was told that they do not rent out the time share and the travel agents is well aware of that, to try and get my money back and explain that you no longer are interested in renting out the time share. I reached out to WorldTravel and they refuse to refund my money. I reached on to Chase in November of 2018 requesting to have and investigation done and to have my account refunded. Chase did refunded my account; however after review they actually saw that I signed a contract giving World Travel the rights to take the funds in the amount of $798. The money was then reverse back to World Travels Club in January of 2019. I was told on January 15th, 2019 because I try to have my money refunded from Chase bank they are no longer obligated to help me. I do have a voice mail from Kelli that clearly states she will be sending me new dates and location to rent out my time share, in which I never receive.
I am requesting to have my money refunded back into my account; this has been a horrible and frustrating experience. This is not okay and I will continue to work on getting my refund. As stated on their contract their average turn around period is 60-90 days and that is guaranteed in 180 days. It has been 4 months, and I have not received any complete offers. Furthermore International Resort explained to me that the Code that were listed on the three offers does not exist and if the code do not exit the time share cannot be rented out. Can you please look into this matter?

World Travelers Club Response • Feb 06, 2019

We are very sorry that this has been brought to the Revdex.com, but also thankful you brought this to our attention. After the client signed up with us in August of 2018, we handled this account according to the agreement. We made sure that she was very well informed & explained every single detail of the contract before she signed it. The contract clearly states that we re-market the property at the company's expense within 180 days if an acceptable offer is not received. We sent offers to the client within the time frame as promised. Directly after we sent offers to her, the client filed a dispute against us with her credit card company which is against our policy as stated in the 3rd page, second bullet of the contract. Due to those reasons the contract between the client & World Travelers Club is 100% null & void. We regret having to part ways and wished the client gave us a chance to market and advertise her property.

Customer Response • Feb 08, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thank you for your response in this matter, however please keep in mind the offers that was submitted to my husband and I with the dates and codes did not exist with ***. If the codes do not exist the property cannot be rented. That was the reason why I had my concerns and I reached out to World Travels first. I explained to the representative that I spoke to *** and was told the offers they are submitting to me do not exist. I was told from the representative at World Travels that another set of offers will be sent to me and it turned out to be same issue with the dates, location and codes. I decided to call my bank to have the funds credit back to my account which the bank did however the bank had to reverse the transaction because of the contract that I signed. My husband signature was not on the contract and by rights it should be both signatures seeing that the property is rented out on both our names.
I have attached the offer confirmation with the dates, location and codes that do not exist. None of the offers sent were legit and the property could not be rented with the dates and codes for the locations that were submitted. World Travels did not rent my property as clearly stated on the contract and refuse to further assist my husband and I. My request is to please refund my account.

This company is listed with RCI Vacation Exchange Club as a fraud and has nothing to do with RCI.
received a phone call on 2 different occasions with the same proposal:
I am eligible to deposit 3 weeks with RCI. World Traveler Club (WTC) would rent those out in a block and I would receive about $4000 for the rental. WTC REQUIRES $300 UP FRONT FOR EACH WEEK and you can pay by credit card on the spot. This made me suspicious. They have an extensive web page.
On the first call I responded that I could not complete the transaction and that I would be checking if they were legitimate. They offered to call back in an hour but never did.
About 1 week later I received another call from the same number with the same offer by a different person. I asked that he call back in an hour. He said they covered the Spinnaker Resort transactions. I checked with Spinnaker who had never heard of them. RCI customer service said that WTC is on their "FRAUD LIST".

I paid world travelers club $1200.00 for them to list my blue green vacation club points for rental. I paid using a debit card.I did not sign the docu-sign. When they called for me to sign because I changed my mind. I was told I had to sign in order to get 600.00 I should get all of my money back. I asked them to mail me a hard copy. Don't have it yet. Please help.

World Travelers Club Response • Dec 19, 2018

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, however we are sorry this has been brought to the Revdex.com. This customer was verbally informed of the company policy & DID in fact sign the Docusign Contract right after. The client knew they were not due for offers until Janurary of 2019. Sadly, the client has not even given us a chance to market & advertse her property which is not giving us a chance to complete our end of the contractual obligation. Also in the contract it states that she has ten days to inform World Travelers Club in writing or by telephone if they want to cancel the contract for any reason. Prior to bringing this to Revdex.com's attention we both came to a resolution, and this was not a part of it, so we feel this is definetely unfair to the company. Since bringng this to ur attention we have contacted the clenit again & we both have decided to come to an agreement.
