I purchaes two power leather recliners from Kanes in July of One of the main reasons for purchasing frm Kanes was the lifetime guaranteeWithin months the leather on one of the recliners began to peelKanes did come out to examine the chair and initially were not going to replace the chair - after I made a few phone calls to Kanes corporate office - they did finally replace the chair The stitching on the second recliner began unravelling in december of - stuffing/padding came outKanes did come to examine the chair but we were told stitching was not covered and that it would be simple for us to stitch up ourselvesI did not expect Kanes to replace the chair but they could at least repair it!! My wife bought upholstry thread and attempted to re-stitch the chair herself - otherwise we could not sit in the chair as the stitching unraveled more each time someone sat on the chairIt is impossible to re-stitch this by hand and return it to it's original appearanceEven though the thread is a perfect match - the hand stitching is quite obvious and I'm quite sure we will be sewing it numerous more times in the years to comeKanes should at least offer re-stitching with the appropriate equipment to prevent customers from having to do repair work themselvesKane's claims you can keep your furniture for life but the quality of the furniture makes me doubt their claim

Purchased a mattress, dinning room suite and sectionalThe mattress had to be returned after a month since you could see where we laidThe dip measured 1/inch less then what the manufactures specs for a defectThat was either or 21/inchesThat gives us a store credit which we purchased a recliner and a bed frame with drawersBoth the bed frame and dinning suite had to be delivered multiple times do to either major scratches or areas where the wood stain didn't takeThe sectional recliner broke so I'm March 'I notified the storeThe end of Aug is when it was finally repairedThe only delay was the wrong part was ordered and needed to be reorderThe headache of trying to get the recliner fixed was more then awfulCouldn't follow the simplest request of not calling my phone after 2pm, this happened to many times to countWhen they emailed me with an apttime they put the address of another customer as mineThe attention to details doesn't exist, one area of the business doesn't communicate with the necessary departments to get the job done right and efficientlyWhile waiting for the sectional recliner to be fixed the recliner has now broken as wellThat part was ordered in July and won't be here til Oct

We purchased a large sectional couch from Kane's a little over two years agoThe salesman pushed us to go with the vinyl coach telling us it would hold up much better then leatherHe told us their furniture was so good it even had a life time warrantyWell we paid over two thousand dollars for this couch and had it deliveredIt had two cup holder drawers, power foot rest lights and power seat heatersWe were so excited to use the couchAs soon as we pulled the cup holder drawer out it fell right on the floor showed it to the delivery man he put it back in then it fell out againWe let it go because we thought we had this great life time warrantyThe heaters even when on low would start burning you and eventually stopped workingWe really let this slide because they burnt you anywaysBut now the vinyl is peeling on the head rest and arm restWe called their customer service they sent out a person to take pictures and said the would call in two daysAlmost a week went by and no call so my wife called themThey said there was nothing they could do because it was not coveredWe told them we were not happy and they said they would contact the manufacturer never got back to us again wife called again they told us they would get back to us the next dayThey left a voice mail saying they were unable to get a response because of a death of a family member of the manufacturer so three days later get a call from Ann from the New Port Richey Kane's saying the heaters were not covered just moving mechanical partsI wanted to know what about the peeling vinyl on the couchThat's not covered under their "Quality so good It's covered for life warranty"Ann told me that my couch feel apart because of the lotion I put on my skin and leaned that skin on the couchWell one I don't use lotion and I guess you need all your body covered so the couch don't fall apartSomebody forgot to tell the manufacturers of the couch we replaced with this one that because it was over years old and wasn't peelingThe reason I was posting this review is to warn people about Kane's and their quality so good it is covered for life warranty which is worth less then the paper it is written onThe furniture they sell is not good quality but don't take my word for it just google Kane's and complaints and read hundreds of story's like mineTheir customer service ends after they collect the money for the purchase of their low quality furnitureI almost throw up every time I see their ad on TV saying the quality is so good it is warranted for life, a very short life that isBuyer Beware!!! Now I must go and post this on other social media to warn as many people as possibleAlso if you see me out front of the New Port Richey Kane's picketing honk your horn so we can warn everyone not to waste their hard earned money

We purchased over $3k worth of furniture from Kane's in Sarasota, FL and we are very pleased We bought a dining room set and a power recliner All items are of excellent quality and completely guaranteed We were told that the items were in stock and, upon completing the transaction on a Saturday, delivery was set for the following Wednesday They called the night before stating that the delivery would be made between am and pm The truck arrived promptly at am Two men carried all of the furniture in and set it up perfectly without delay They were both friendly and professional, as was everyone we encountered at the store Having experienced a nightmare with another company I want to state clearly how impressed we are at our experience with Kane's

The Olympic Gold for [redacted] services goes to Kane's This is the email that I sent them today: To whom it [redacted] concern, I am writing to inform you that I am absolutely disgusted by the horrible service I have received from your company I purchased a pub style table and chairs on July 1st from your Brandon store (order # [redacted] )The delivery date was set for July 7th On July 7th the delivery showed up with the wrong tableInstead of delivering the right table ASAP (the driver told me himself that there were currently in stock) they insisted that I needed to wait until July 19th On July 19th they showed up with a broken tableThis was noticed by me just as they were heading out the door I then told them I was no longer interested in waiting yet another week for another table and that they should take the chairs as wellThey told me that they could not take the table I then called the store and gave them the choice between either getting me the correct table by the end of the day today (July 20th) or else they could just come and get the chairs as well The store told me that they would see if this was possible and get back to me immediately (This was before 1PM.)She also told me that the alternative would be them coming on Sunday to get the chairs They never called me backI assumed that they would then be coming on Sunday to pick up the chairs Today I was away from my phone for the morning only to find both a message from someone at the store telling me they were coming today and a later message from the delivery men saying that they missed me Of course they missed me........I was never told they were coming So here I am days later with your chairs STILL taking up my living room, marks on my walls from these same [redacted] chairs (The stain on them must have been too fresh or somethingThey were never even sat on, but managed to leave marks just sitting against the walls.), two half days of my time wasted, over $of mine in your accounts and nothing from the store but a "sorry." I purchased two recliners from the Ocoee branch of Kane's FurnitureFrom the very start we had nothing but problemsThe recliners were electric with controls to go up and down and heat and vibrateI only purchased them due to the guarantee for lifeWe had to have the controls replaced on one recliner and worked on the otherIt took months to replace the parts which had to come from ChinaNow I have a worn spot on my seat cushion that looks like it has worn outI have only had these for a little over yearI called Kane's and they said because I didn't report it within week and didn't know the exact cause they won't do anything about itSo much for there life time guarantee! I will never purchase another item from this retailerTheir lifetime guarantee is nothing but a sales gimmickMay the buyer beware!!!

Kane's claims you can keep your furniture for life but the quality of the furniture makes me doubt their claim.

We paid over $500.00 for a recliner at kanes furniture, BECAUSE THEY ADVERTISE LIFETIME GUARENTEE. Well, DONT BELIEVE THEM. We got the chair mainlly to have as an extra chair. We varily ever sit in it. About 14 monthes after we bought it, we noticed the headrest area looked like a cat had clawed it. (AND WE DO NOT HAVE ANY ANIMALS). I called them, and they said it wasn't under warrenty, and would NOT do anything about it. We will NEVER EVER buy anything else from them, and we're telling everyone we know also to NEVER step foot in a kanes furniture store. TOTALLY DISSAPPOINTED.

KANES LIFETIME WARRANTY IS A JOKE!
I purchased a 7 piece sectional from Kanes Furniture and on teh advise of the salesperson, I bought additional warranty that will protect against accidental rips, tears, stains et al. I thought that between this extra warranty for leather damage and "Kanes Lifetime Warranty" for everything else, I will be fully covered, but I was wrong!
Two years later I saw a small rip in one of the armless recliners caused by the dangling keyring from my pocket. I called the warranty company UV3 Masterguard. Within a week they sent an agent to inspect the damage and he told me that this was a "manufacturing defect" for the type of leather used and was not covered under their plan. I then called Kanes for the lifetime warranty support to cover the manufacturing defects, but they refused to repair or replace it.
Kanes Furniture corporate office only offered me a store credit of $800 plus taxes and said that they will have to take way my 7 piece sectional if I accepted this offer. For 2 year old furniture in excellent shape apart from this damage, that I purchased for $1750 plus taxes, I am being offered less than 50%!

Is that what you will consider "life-time warranty"?? I asked for replacement of the damaged piece, or to reimburse me the repair costs - but that is denied as well.
I go to their store and any equivalent replacement is $2900 or up. So, if I want to activate my life time warranty on the furniture I bought, I have to pay $2100 from my pocket to replace a set I bought for $1750!

Having experienced a nightmare with another company I want to state clearly how impressed we are at our experience with Kane's.

One piece of advice when working with the sales team at this store - do not allow them to convince you of paying a certain price upfront with the promise of a credit after delivery. They label these gimmicks as different "sales" at different times. My "sale" was the "2or20 Promotion." Essentially, I was supposed to get 20% off of the most expensive item on my order. I was skeptical to say the least but I went with it because at the end of the day, $200 isn't going to break the bank. A week after delivery I received a call from the manager. She left a message that my card would be credited $64. Shame on you Kane's. You will not see me in another one of your stores. Here is a copy of the email I sent to my salesman, and never received a response about:

"I don't believe it is good business to intentionally mislead a customer. I was told, and not just once or twice, that this purchase (of nearly $5k) was eligible for a 20% discount on the most expensive item. If you recall our interaction that day, I don't need to tell you how skeptical I was that this wasn't a discount being applied at the time of purchase, but was to be credited at some mysterious future time, after delivery. Apparently I had every right to be skeptical, because now I find out that I'm essentially being nickel and dimed out of $136. If the discount was to be $64, that is the amount that should have been communicated, not $200. This is not how a reputable company does business. I would appreciate if you communicate this information to your manager. "

you will be making a complete "BUYER BEWARE" purchase. Has been 6 weeks with no response from Kane re:repair of cushions or strapping of sectional loveseat used for 6 months. Also they did not respond to the Consumer Complaint Agency. Suggest that persons looking to purchase furniture, type Kane furniture into search engine and read item titled "265 reviews Kane furniture". Wish I had done this, would have saved myself $1,000. Their A+ rating is a joke. I truly believe , knowing I a a 'snowbird' they are trying to wait me out. They win, I leave in a week with no resolution
