We took truck in to get it fixed with def low light on and check engine light. Shop took five days to release the truck. Shop ran test which showed nox sensor at fault, they fixed pipe and clear code with computer charged $1250 for labor and we were told truck was fixed and all codes were taking care off. Final bill came to $1750, this was on 4/10/18 and yesterday 4/18/18 truck had same errors. We called the shop and they told us there is nothing they can do. They did not fix original problem but fixed something it did not need fixing, clearance my codes gave us a week but problem is not fixed yet we paid $1750. This shop has dishonest people working there, don’t go or you will be ripped off too. Now we need someone else to look at the truck and fix the problem.

K***,Thank You for your time earlier. As I explained we dont understand why this customer has filed a claim. We listed all of our troubleshooting steps and the fact that there was a bad pipe in the exhaust system. These exhaust systems require that they be sealed and in good condition in order for them to regenerate. This system was leaking and due to the leak the DPF was plugged and needed cleaning. The customer declined the cleaning and said he would have it taken care of himself. Now his truck is broke down again and he is correct its for the same issue, the dpf being dirty. When you look at the ticket it states aftertreatment system yellow alert, thats the second warning the system needs cleaned and serviced. That shows on the dash for the driver / customer to see. The Red warning is the third warning that the system needs serviced/ cleaned and the misuse detection means repeated attempts to regenerate have failed and the truck goes into a derate mode. That means it will run but not at highways speeds and must be repaired before it can go back to a green status. Once we replaced the pipe the system did go through a regeneration cycle and clear that code but without cleaning it will plug back up almost immediately as you can see. The customer did call us and ask us to pay for the cleaning which we declined as we had advised them the work needed to be done. Please let me know if you require any additional information. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I am attaching shop's service paper explaining what was wrong and no where on that paper is stated that DPF needs cleaning, and that customer was aware and refused cleaning. Cleaning of DPF was not mention at all, just faulty NOX sensor and as you can see it was not replaced. There is code P3973 stating Nox sensor after catalyst persist not valid and we had same code today when we took it to shop *** services to clear codes. We were told we need to replace NOX sensor which we did and it cost us $381 part cost. No work was refused, no DPF cleaning was suggested and no one told us we would break down in a week, instead they told us truck was fixed. When they called us first time to tell us how much we need to pay it was $1750, one day later they told us it was $2000, when we told them they told us different price before they adjusted their billing. This tells me they are not honest, and now they are saying that we refused cleaning which is so far from the truth. Please see attached service paper. I hope we can resolve this matter.
