Don't use this site for your hotel reservations. Hotel Rates.com overcharged us over $[redacted] on a room that was priced at $** from the hotel desk. When I called them to complain, they reimbursed me $**. They mislead me to believe that this was the going rate for this room. They also had a policy of no cancellations.
I thought that I was going to dea ldirectly with the [redacted] in Barboursville, WV when I connected from a site on my smart phone. Since I just booked today, I can't comment on the price of the room, but would like to commet on my experience while booking. The young lady, [redacted], was somehat helpful, but the background noise sounded like she was at a party. At times, I couldn't hear her very well for all of the loud noise. When I commented on this, she had no real response It was most unprofessional. [redacted], at the end of the conversation, seemed to become defensive when I asked her name again and what the name of the site was. She was also a bit rude when she asked if iagreed to the terms and conditions and I asked her what they were. I think that some additional training in customer service and telephone ettiquette when a group of people are working in the same room would go a long way to make the customer feel valued. I will not use this service again.
I just booked a room at a hotel I stay at for vacation every year, and am upset at the way I was misled by Hotel-Rates. I looked up the hotel online, then clicked on one of the websites that came up to check for availability. Unfortunately, it was Hotel-Rates, as I unwittingly made the reservation online, and was charged [redacted] to do so, a fact that I only found out AFTER I made the reservation and it was too late. Why in the world would I pay for the privilege of spending money? I could have called the hotel, or gone through the hotel parent company's website. Now, not only was I tricked into paying this company for nothing, but if something comes up and I have to cancel, I have to go through them, as opposed to contacting the hotel directly. I am confused as to the purpose of this company, except to mislead people into buying their "services." My only solace is that since it is Revdex.com accredited, hopefully they will not be stealing my credit card information.
we hired Worley Ink industries to do snow removal at my home all winter while we go south to arizona. I get reports from neighbours and friends who are watching my home. I see the job being done and have to say 200% - great job. We get photos of what the place looks like plus regular email updates from Worley_ink. I am mobility handicapped- walking with a cane or using a mobility scooter so ice can not be allowed to build up. this special request has been habled very well, I recommend their service - with the hesitation only because I hope he does not get so busy he can not devote the time I need
