After reading ***'s bio, I believe it is time for him to find another line of work. I was taken advantage of (64 yr old single woman) and the job was not completed. The "crew" are a sloppy bunch and paint was on many items where it shouldn't have been, they skipped many, many areas, ruined two entire walls with popcorn spray, washed their brushes in my kitchen sink (Health issue), "lost" a lid to a brand new can of paint I bought, Bent the fixture on an expensive lamp, left switch plates off and cracked a few and *** left his crew unsupervised to wander thru my home as if they were the owners. The job was abandoned (I was in my upstairs office) and when I texted ***, he said he would come fix the wall alone and I declined as I realized these were NOT professional painters. He actually said he had an appt for another job when he was actually running to the bank to cash my check! I was fearful to allow any of them back after the horrid mess that was left! I had to hire another company to fix the mess! Life is far too short for nonsense and elder abuse! Pass *** smiley *** (when someone smiles too much, it is an act) and his unprofessional crew. No contractor's license as this is a franchise. Yep, I would say WOW, One day painting is WOW alright; WOW what a mess!

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment I would like a refund in the amount of what I *** pay another company to repair the mess. They *** be coming next week and I *** have a final *** to share at that time. I felt I should lodge the complaint now as I am a busy nurse with my own business and do not always have time to complete things such as this and the importance is significant. In fact I am losing sleep at the other end of a company I thought I could trust.

There was never any intent to subject the customer to elder abuse or fraud. It is obvious that both parties had some communication challenges. In all fairness to the franchise owner the customer has made unfounded accusations, in her reviews on Yelp and Google My Business, such statements as "the franchise owner had to run to the bank to cash her check" are subjective. I checked our records, he was scheduled to see another client on that day. I fully understand the customer's perceived frustrations but they are not based on actual facts.
The customer never provided any photographic evidence to the corporate office regarding the broken toilet or paint left in the sink. This is the same situation with the furniture she claims was damaged. We were never advise what type of furniture, what the damage actually was,where it was located, again no pictures or description were received.
Now she has been told by another paint company the whole house needs to be repainted but again nothing in writing from this painter as to where the problems lie,why he is stating our crew used the wrong paint, no evidence just demands from the customer submitted without any proof that would give us an opportunity to work with her.
The franchise partner did offer to go back and work on her concerns but she told him to cease and desist. Which he did out of respect and yet she claims elder abuse?
This franchise has had three, 5 Star reviews on Google My Business.
The Net Promoter score Year To Date for this franchise is 100.
The issues escalated when the owner asked her why she was trying to get one of his crew to work for her under the table. In all fairness the customer responded with a different version but she was never communicated to in an abusive tone at any time.
She declined the owners' good faith attempt to address the issues and began calling the corporate sales center. She was advised that she did not reach a local customer service location. Per my notes I called her on June 12th and left a voice message,
She states she never got it, however she continues to harass the sales center and demand action. As of yesterday I had to ask my legal department to approve a letter to her stating since she has opened a Revdex.com complaint, her concerns *** be addressed through that channel. Also to please stop calling into the sale center. The agents are not local to the franchise and that any final action is up to the franchise, not the agents receiving her calls.
In conclusion,
The franchise owner made a good faith attempt to work with the customer.
No proof of her claims of damage, thief ,or elder abuse have been provided.
At the end of the project, the customer asked the owner to provide another quote for additional work, and indicated she was happy with the project at that point which conflicts with her statement the job was abandoned.

No evidence.quote or evaluation from another painting company of what we did not do "correctly", to verify the new claim that the entire house needs to be repainted.
No evidence or description of what furniture was damaged, the value of said furniture and when she first discovered the damage.
There is evidence of our workmanship and integrity to counteract her claims, again the current 5 Star reviews on Google My Business and current year to date NPS rating of 100
An olive branch was extended to Ms. which she declined. Please note the franchise owner is still willing to return and address her concerns,even though she still owes a balance of $200.00.
I have attached a copy of the events as experienced by the franchise owner as separate attachment.

How can I accept a response that is full of lies, deceit,and is attacking me left and right? I am going to list by number all the points in response to the attack team at WOW, who have never seen my home and the lousy unfinished job, nor were here to witness the scenario. They are blatantly going off heresay from the franchise owner! The customer is right until proven wrong and I am not wrong!:
1.First paragraph-the owner did have another appt that day but it was in the morning and he promised me he would stay here till the job was done, when he arrived back from that morning appt, as I had reported to him the first day was a nightmare because the guys were not focused and kept stopping and starting, dripping paint everywhere and the damage to my lamp.My handyman came and repaired my lamp and the toilet and did that for no charge when he was here on other jobs. I am an advanced practice nurse for over 42 years plus have two other masters in elementary education and an MBA and I do not play games but your company does! I do not have time for nonsense! The Hispanic painter who broke my toilet is the one who TOLD me *** went to the bank to cash the check!! NOT UNFOUNDED!This and ALL MY REVIEWS ARE FACT!!I also have the documented time from my bank when he cashed that check 3:02pm!You *** see I attached a copy of the check for $1400.00 and I paid cash of $577 which *** promised a receipt for, never was sent one. You *** notice that check was cashed on the last day of the paint job 6/9/2020.
Also, let me explain to you that elder abuse does not just comprise striking or yelling at an older person but being disrespectul and taking advantage which your response has accomplished besides what *** wrote in the text messages.It is TAKING ADVANTAGE and basically disrespecting my property and robbing an older person of a satisfactory and finished job that was paid for in FULL.*** was warned privately about how bad his workers were and he agreed in regard to two of them and thanked me for letting him know.
2.Paragraph 2-I showed everything to ***, the owner so why would I need to send corporate pictures??? A tall lamp that was expensive was bent where the fixture is, the toilet in my downstairs powder room was still running and the chain in the back housing was deliberately disconnected when I opened the back.I cleaned the rubber that was stained with paint leading to my garbage disposal and observed the Hispanic guy cleaning his brushes in my kitchen sink!Did you want me to have him smile and I take a picture?
3.paragragh 3-the painter you speak of asked me "did you want flat paint?" He is the one who told me *** had brought Flat paint when we agreed upon satin because I wanted to be able to wash the walls and for the next owners as this is a starter home neighborhood and I *** be selling in the next year or two.I *** take a picture of the paint cans that were left by *** and show you ALL is Flat Paint-the painter who came to the house also stated that the upstairs walls were cut in for the second coat and it was never done.Switch plates were left all over the house and never replaced and none of the trim was done up in the hallway. I have another painter coming this week to provide an estimate using the correct paint.*** used the wrong spray on popcorn texture and ruined not one wall but two walls!He said he did not know who did it.
4. paragraph 4-*** the owner offered to come back when he wanted to and he had promised two days-that would be the third and I cannot afford to take the day off again!This is their problem not mine! He also wanted to come when he had time-not when I could be there plus I was afraid to let any of them back in my home!!-read on
5.paragraph 5 three 5 star reviews? Big *** deal! One bad review *** take them down; obviously those 5 star reviews were people who didn't know what was going on, family or friends,or made up because it was all different for me!ONLY three 5 star reviews is a joke anyway. The Hispanic guy was the crew member who complained to me the entire time about the other crew members dripping paint everywhere and repeatedly told me he would help me, do not worry, even if he comes back without them. I said do you mean I can hire just you, he said we *** talk when the job is done. At the end of day two after he broke the toilet,and as I caught him going to his car- the only one left here, he said he could not come back and finish the job out of respect to ***.He offered, I did not ask him, ever!He causes alot of trouble.
6.paragraph 6-the owner NEVER had a good faith attempt to come back and do anything but fix the botched popcorn walls!I am not sure he even knows the second coat to the walls and trim were never done upstairs! He left to go cash my check! The Hispanic guy told me they all left once *** went to cash the check!
I was never called on June 12th and left a voice message-you must have called the wrong number or mis-dialed because I have been anxiously awaiting a call.The girls at your customer service area told me I would hear back in 48 hours and I called twice more looking for your call to me AFTER 48 hours because that is what the girls directed me to do!I am NOT harassing anyone-I was directed to call back until I heard from someone! Call your legal department! I have my own attorney and yes, I have a case-the right paint was not used and I deserve a refund! My next step *** be TV news if this is not resolved, then court!
The evidence *** be forthcoming as I am gathering estimates and that takes time. You have absolutely NO IDEA what the word Integrity means probably because you have zero! NO olive branch was extended-you at the escalation dept are operating on the heresay of the franchise owner *** who hires anyone to paint and misrepresents himself as a professional paint company and it is not.I owe nothing to this painter as I paid in full, trusting *** as they were starting to come upstairs for that first coat of paint-they hitailed it shortly after.This is an unacceptable job that was never completed and the wrong paint type was used, thus the entire job needs repainted with the correct paint type, the destroyed popcorn walls need redone and the unfinished areas need completed. I call this bait and switch regarding the paint and unprofessional for the rest. If he brings a different crew who are professional painters and does the right thing, as noted above, plus stays with his crew, I *** accept that. Otherwise, TV and court are my next steps. Enough is enough!
New Development as of 6/19/2020:
I received a text from XXX-XXX-XXXX stating "The ***" @ 2:45am.
I received a phone call I did not answer on 6/18 at 11:02pm from XXX-XXX-XXXX-no message was left. This is about the time they would be aware of my reviews on yelp and filing with the Revdex.com.I would love for *** to please check if any of these numbers belong to his workers and you may want to check if these belong to *** or his wife; not accusing anyone but I never receive this type of nonsense esp so late at night....

Only if the destroyed full can of paint is also paid for at $36 plus the full refund of
$1977.00 and grand total is $2013.00
I wrote that on the document *** wants signed and sent to him.
I *** also let you know there were other costs like missed work and having to kennel my dogs two days but I *** let that go at this time.That cost is another $528. Take $520-$200 (for ceiling charge) and I am still in the hole for $320 but I see it as as a lesson learned and *** not dicker about that.

This is what I sent to *** just now(the attachment); I am merely asking for another $36 to replace the can of paint with the missing lid that is not usable.I do not want this file closed until I receive the check and deposit in my bank.
