Review: I signed up for the 2 month groupon on 6/11/13 which advertised childcare, which I needed since my husband is active duty military and currently out of state. Upon arrival on 6/12, I told a women named [redacted] I was there to redeem my membership. She rudely handed me a paper to sign,she was very unfriendly, I was not given a tour or any good vibes.There was supposed to be childcare, but no worker in sight. [redacted] lied about the worker running late. She told me to leave my 2 yr. old son in the playroom with her 5 & 7 yr. olds. I did for about 20 mins. and still no worker. [redacted] and the other employee were working out in the gym and too busy to care about the children left unattended. 10 mins later [redacted] leaves with her kids and no one informs me that my 2 yr old had been left alone in the back playroom.On 2nd and 3rd visits to this gym we arrive at 11am and I am feel very uncomfortable because the incompetent women watching my son, who are too busy texting usually get to shut down by 11am. They ignore my son in their care. He is the only child both times. The business states that care is 9am-12pm but they dont want to pay to have the worker there until 12pm. I felt rushed to work out because of the bad vibes of having my son there that extra hour. That day I accidently dropped my wallet on the street and a police returned my wallet to the gym, I had to do all the leg work to later figure out they had my wallet locked in their business. they did not bother calling me to inform me, instead tried to lock up my wallet with all access to my money in their facilities for the rest of the weekend. On my last attempt at this gym, 6/17, I arrive at 11am with my son, and no childcare worker again. I ask for a full refund and the lady says no. She says she will watch my son at the front desk, again, not acceptable. After my money was collected we were just a number to this empty establishment. They are rude, snotty, and incompetent people who desperately need to keep their dump afloat.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the full amount I paid to this gym in the amount of $45.00

First, we would like to apologize to the member if she felt that she was treated rudely or unfriendly. Our facility prides itself in the comradery we have amongst our members and staff. One Tuesday evening, which the member states in her complaint, a young women who comes in to help monitor the playroom was coming in from out of town and could not inform us she wasn't going to make it as her plane was delayed. We can not control that and were unaware she wasn't coming. However, there is always someone here to help. Our playroom hours are listed as 9-12am, but its silly to make someone sit in there when there are no children. If the playroom attendant has no children after 11am, she cleans the room and leaves for the day. There is however always someone on staff if a member brings a child in for that hour. Also, the member was not charged for daycare those days. It is a playroom, not a daycare facility. All staff has assured us that they explained our policies to [redacted]. Furthermore,the day the member dropped her wallet in the parking lot, a west view police officer brought it into our business as he recognized her ID. We called and left the member a message that we found her wallet. This was approximately 12pm on Saturday. Our facility closes at 1pm on Saturdays. The staff locked the doors at 1pm and we waited to hear back from her. Her wallet was returned to her that same day around 1:45. Our facility operates 7 days a week, so for the complaint to state she did not have access to her money for the entire weekend is simply not true. The police officer can attest to that. We are sorry that this member feels the way she does, but we do not feel that we owe her a refund at this time. We would like to offer her and extension on her membership and use of our playroom for her child free of charge.

Firstly, I was never treated like a "member" from day 1 it was "oh she just has a groupon". How does this establishment expect to earn returning customers when they don't come off as welcoming? On Tuesday evening,(June 11th) why were there no adults in the playroom taking care of my 2 year old son? - The hours stated on your website for childcare are 5pm-8:30pm, instead the "owner" was too busy working out with another employee and lugging around a kid in a carseat to and from weight machines... while small children were left alone in the playroom. That is not professional, and is not how a business should be ran. The business is putting children at risk for endangerment, a 2 year old can not take care of himself, and should have never been left alone in the playroom without informing me or anyone on else working for the establishment.
