Review: I bought a gift certificate on WPXI's just pay half website for [redacted]. I paid $50 for a $250 gift certificate for the [redacted] on [redacted] Road. The certificate states it is good for anything besides [redacted], and cannot be used on previous purchases or with any other coupon offers. I went to [redacted] and I picked out a mattress over $1,000. When I went to pay and use this certificate, the store manager, [redacted] or [redacted] (I can't remember which) flat out refused to accept this certificate. He told me that per the certificate requirements, I had to show it to him as soon as I walked in the store (nowhere does it say this on the certificate), and he also told me that I was "already getting a good price", so he would not let me use this. He told me I would "absolutely be able to get a full refund" for my gift certificate since he refused to honor it. I put in a refund request with WPXI the next day, and I have not gotten any response back from them at all. I contacted them a 2nd time to find out why I didn't get a response, and still no answer at all.Desired Settlement: I was promised a refund by [redacted], so I would like a refund. They will not let me use this gift certificate, and I already paid for my mattress. If they have a problem with giving me a refund, then they need to take it up with [redacted] as to why they are promising customers refunds when they refuse to honor the certificate. As a customer, that is not my fault. I just want the refund that was promised to me. An apology for ignoring me would be nice too.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to note that my complaint was ignored for multiple days before I opened this complaint. After contacting the Revdex.com, I received an email stating I would receive an email within 4 hours. It's a shame I had to go to such measures to get a response, but at least I got one.
Review: WPXI Just Pay Half was supposed to charge my card half.I was charged $50 for 2 vouchers instead of $12.5o each.I printed the 2 vouchers, but realized my [redacted] card was charged $50.I immediately called and went on WPXIHalf's website requesting a full refund.Ive sent at least 3-4 messages from their support page requesting refund.Ive left 3-4 messages on their 866 number since Oct 2013.Ive not had any replys from them at all.They continue to solicit my email with more offers!I thought I coukld trust a TV station named site: WPXII just want my refund, it's been over 2 months of my money & time lost!Thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Full $50 refund.
