On July 16, 2018, I signed a contract with WR Construction and Engineering, LLC to complete a renovation project for *** Inc. I also paid WR Construction a deposit. Before I signed the contract, I asked Mr. (the owner) if the quote included architect plans to DSS (as construction cannot begin until SC DSS approves). He assured me that the quote did include submission and that he would make sure everything was completed accordingly. When I signed, he said that he would submit the plans to DSS the following Monday (1 week). When I spoke to him again, he told me they would be submitted on Wednesday of that week. Each week, there was an excuse: His mother was in the hospital or he had to take a SCDOT test. Three weeks have now gone by and I cannot get Mr. to return my phone call. I have emailed and also texted him. No response. Mr. has stolen my company's hard-earned money and wasted my time.
