The coustomer failed to pay her deductable to WreckandmendIf coustomer would have paid her deductable the shop would have reimbursed money for rental issue deductable was 1000$ .coustomer dosent understand nys laws for insurance claim and dosent thing the deductable is her responsibility

Hi I am the [redacted] of wreck and mend autobody This customer was issued two checks for her damages to her vehicle She was disrespectful from the beginning and was threatening my buisness that she wanted to keep one of the checks after I had already finished the car and had fixed everything that I was supposed to I had told her I can not give her any money and she kept on threatening me that she wanted money I had told her that I can not release her vehicle untill the full amount is paid This woman does not understand the buisness and that once I repair the car she can not keep the money and pay me a cash price for less Thank you

I reject the response from Wreck & Mend Auto Body as a resolution to my complaint for not reimbursing my rental fees of $878.95. From August 2015 through January 2016 Maria acted as the sole representative whom I dealt with from Wreck & Mend Auto Body. Therefore, regardless of her title, she was the employee and representative of this business. The business, Wreck & Mend Auto body is responsible for the reimbursement of my rental fees in the amount of $878.95 which to date no effort has been made to reimburse this fee.

As from the text messages and messages I have from this company they repeatedly lied with when my car was getting worked on. Accident happened October **, I was calling since September [redacted], to have them come and get the car. The lady I was speaking to was [redacted] everyday was a new story with when my car would be picked up. Finally on September ** at 11pm someone came and pick up my car, when [redacted] had told me that will be here at 6pm.
Two weeks after my car was at the shop I called to see the status and spoke with [redacted] she said by the end of the week. I waited till the end of the weekend she then stated that by next week she will have my car ready. Every week it was something different. I then got up set and started demanding my car, I had no check or planed on staying with one so I don't know what this person is saying. The only rude one was this it [redacted] if that's his name who called cursing and yelling at me, knowing I am [redacted]s pregnant. They even knew I had to take a bus to get to the hospital because they were incompetent with giving my car back. Then when my car was ready and wreck and mend found out a made a complaint, that called me and told me they will not give me back my car until I take complaint off and pay 500, what kind of business is this? I also sent a complaint to DMV so everyone can be aware of how unprofessional these people are, it was a whole month till I out my car back and it was sitting in their shop ready and Done. Then they say we went to pick it up [redacted] told us he has no tow truck to bring me the car so for my husband to take a cab and he will pay it, and the max was $50 he would pay. When my husband got there [redacted] told him I change my mind I'm not paying the cab you can go F your self. I have a witness that was with my husband who heard and saw everything. They did a horrible with my car.

Review: My Car was in a hit and Run accident on 8/**/14, damage to car was not as big, just bumper was dent, no glass was cracked or anything else. I was recommended by a friend of a relative to have my car repaired at Wreck and mend since he works for [redacted] and he sends customers to this repair shop.I was going back and fourth with this place since September [redacted], on when the car will be picked up and repaired, spoke with [redacted] who is the [redacted] of this place. Have text messages to prove the conversations between us. She would tell me every day she will pick up the car and just excuses after excuses. Finally on September [redacted] she said she will send someone, waited till 10pm at night since she gave me the run around that someone will be there shortly.October [redacted] ( I have proof from text messages) I text [redacted] and asked the status of car, she said we are working on it, On October [redacted], I text [redacted] and asked for an update she stated they had issue with my insurance company the check amount they gave her first was not sufficient and needed another quote. That someone was going out there to take pictures again of the car.A week passed I text/call her she said it will be ready Wednesday, I called Wednesday she stated by Friday it should be ok. I informed her I had a check for 1,933.33 from my insurance she told me that is the supplement check and that I should have received one prior to that one for 1,756.00. I told her nothing was sent, so she decided to make a stop payment on check and have that check sent to her shop directly.Its October [redacted], nearly a month passed by and I have no car, the auto shop is claiming they have to wait for the check to come in the mail, its heading straight to them, I have another check in my presence for a larger amount telling them to take this check give me my car and the other check should be in the mail. I am [redacted] pregnant with also a sick child with asthma, I cant do anything since they took my car, these people are un professional, they text me instead of calling me, they holding my car for a payment that is coming straight from my insurance company, I have already one check, they charged almost 4,000 for a job that would have been less than $1,000. They havent answered my calls, or said anything else to me. I NEED MY CAR!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want my car as of yesterday, I have one check for them, they other has been sent from my insurance company. There getting paid its not like they are not, so why are the holding my car as ransom!!! I need my car, I am mother of a sick child and [redacted]s pregnant.
