My vehicle was involve in a accident I paid the owner (Sammy)to fix my vehicle which State Farm wrote a estimate for I paid him the money and for whatever reason he don't want fix my car I asked him for my money back since he don't want fixed it he said no

So I went to this shop on 31 May for some body work. The owner told me, it will be done in 4 or 5 days. I said good, that's the amount of time my insurance company will allow me to rent a car.

I did not hear from the owner for a week despite my several calls. So, I go there on following Friday (June 7) and confronted the owner. He said, it will be ready by Monday (in 3 days) -- he told me to rent a car and he will re-reimburse me the money. I did. Then I called him and stopped by Monday, nobody was there and nobody picked up the phone. I extended the rental for another day. And I returned the car after 4 days costing me $161.77 (recipt attached) even though they didn't tell my when my car will be ready. Finally, the owner calls me on Thursday (June 13) and tells me my car is ready. I pick up my car and ask for re-imbursement of $161.77 for rental car. First, he texts me, he will give it to me - I asked when? No answer. Then I called him Friday (June 14), he told me he will not re-reimburse me. Also, the work was sub par, instead of putting the new bumper they repaired the old one.

Where do I start? Brought my car in with the ac not cooling. Three weeks later, they still have the car and I have to contact them repeatedly throughout that three weeks to get updates. Final call I was finally told the car was ready. With $740 in repairs to the ac. Two days later, Monday, driving the car home from work and the ac goes out. Call to let them know so I can bring it in and the guy tells me not to bring it in until Wednesday because they are "busy." So get to go two more days without A/C. Now the car has been there a week with no communication AGAIN on their part. I call to find out what's going on and they say they have checked it twice and it's working. We need to bring it back when the ac isn't working. I tell him that's exactly what I tried to do on that Monday and was told you were too busy and now the car has been sitting there for a week and no one even called to tell me to come pick it up. Now, went to go pick up the car and talk to the owner, ***. My husband leaves with the car while I'm talking to him. No real apology from the owner, just blaming someone who he said he fired because he is ruining his reputation, which I don't believe for the sole reason I had to call to check up on my car and received no communication from them. If the guy was so horrible and making your reputation so bad, you should have been going down the list of vehicles in your garage and make sure everyone was being taken care of and updated on their car's situation. Didn't happen. When I get home, I have the pleasure of learning the AC stopped working as my husband made it home. I call them to let them know this and that I just want my $700+ back as the ac was never fixed. 1 month wasted. 93 degrees outside. No apology. *** said he is leaving for the day and to call him tomorrow, not he'll call me and he will make it right. I need to track him down. This morning, I went back to the shop to request my money back as the services were not completed after they had the car for a total of 4 weeks throughout a 6 week period. *** refused to give me back my money and said he paid for parts for the car and needs to find those receipts. He offered to write me a check for $300 but refused to sign a form stating this was not paying me back in full. Because he would not sign, I did not accept the check. I am making this complaint because I have no reason to believe *** or anyone at this business will reach out to me to resolve this issue. Any communication has ALWAYS been initiated by either me or my husband. They swindled my family out of $740 and left us with a car not fixed.

At this time, my complaint, ID 12856169 regarding Wren's Auto Repairs has been resolved.

After repeated visits to the business, I was able to resolve the issue for the most part. While I was not able to get a full refund, I was given a partial refund minus what the owner said was cost of parts.
