AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!
Hi I went to Wright Dentures and Implants in Independence Mo on Noland Rd. I would highly NOT recommend this place. I have been without teeth since May. They cant get my denture right after 2.5 months. I asked for a refund to go somewhere else that cares about their patients and does dentures right but they will not refund my money nor will the office manger call me back and when I call they now send me straight to voice mail. I am currently filing a court case to get my money back. Whatever you do DON'T go to this place unless you wanna lose money! I am also contacting Fox 4 problem solvers to ask them to air my story and to take down their commercial! Please dont be another one of their victims!

On 8/9/19 I went for new dentures. Was high pressured into implants $995 ea (2). Opened a care credit acct for me, $1500 plus $7-800 cash, and collected insurance $800. Ins. can't be used again for 5 years. They made a denture that gave me a severe overbite,I refused. New impressions, made another set, again severe overbite and made jaw hurt. Third set was made. One week later, front tooth fell out, repaired, week later 2 teeth fell out. I began asking for money back so I could go somewhere else. Refused..Begged them to make another set, agreed. I have 4th but it doesn't extend to cover the ridge on tpp and falls out. I had an appt. for this to be corrected, they call it repair but it isn't broken, wasn't made correctly. I was told if I didn't care about the aesthetics this would be over. I care, especially for $4000. I have been to this office over 100x in the past year but still no new ones I can wear. In March, I developed a sore on my bottom lip. The tech asked about it but the "dentist" couldn't be bothered to look at it. It was cancer and I had surgery to remove 7/9 - no oral cancer screening done here. In June they sent me a certified letter telling me I was disruptive in their office (file noted but didn't happen) and they won't see me beyond one more appt. to "repair" the problem I have now. I selected an "elite" pkg, their best. Includes 12 mo. adjustments after complete & a 10 yr. warranty. They told me they won't do any adjustments, find another dentist. I've paid for them already. I am still wearing old dentures from 11 yrs ago. They say they can't make one like the one that's in my mouth because it won't fit in my mouth. Makes no sense. Still refused refund. I've lost countless hours at work going there sometimes 3x week, vacation days, and tons of travel but still have nothing for $ already paid. I was not disruptive for fear they would refuse svc. but they fabricated lies. I am not sure implants are right. I need a refund to go somewhere else

Wright Dentures and Implants Response • Sep 09, 2020

Patient was seen on 8/8/2019 for a consultation and decided to move forward withproposed treatment plan of lower implants and dentures. Treatment consents weresigned and was completed, new dentures were made, and implants were placed inAugust of 2019.Patients healing went well and final dentures for the upper ridge were impressed onAugust 2019 and final denture on the lower in November 2019. Patient had wax try inand approved upper denture with her signature on 8/19/2019 and remade upper as acourtesy when made final denture for lower received her approved and signature for thewax try in on 11/21/2019. Then patient has returned since on several occasions andhas also called cussing out our front office staff over the phone and in person, as wellas our dental assistants. We have staff and patient witnesses that have seen thescenes that this patient has caused in our facility. We also as a courtesy have remadeher dentures both top and bottom twice more and received wax try in approvals for eachreplacement sets one on 1/16/2020 and again on 6/11/2020.In response to her spot on her lip, she was seen in our office for a wax try in on5/5/2020 when she pointed out the spot to the assistant. Patient stated to the assistantthat she had been on the motorcycle over the weekend but that it had been there forabout a month. The assistant took pictures showed Dr. *** and he recommendedthat she should contact her General practitioner or Dermatologist for an evaluation. Thearea that it was located on is not in the oral cavity, so we recommend seeing adermatologist or someone that is an expert in that area. We kept the pictures so wecould monitor it when she was in for hernext visits and record it in her chart. Which is all noted in patients’ chart at each visit.Lastly, a patient dismissal letter was sent to patient due to coming to an impasse withthe patient which was sent on June 26,2020 after she was given and approved her lastdenture. We provided a 30-day open period for emergencies to allow her to locateanother provider. We also explained to patient over the phone on July 10,2020 that wewould honor her warranty of her denture and that we would be able to see her to adjusther denture during the 30-day period. She then stated that she would be havingsurgery so she does not think that she will feel up to coming in during the 30-day period. We told her that we are willing to extend the period for one visit within 4 months of theletter but we could not continue to see her as a patient except for the one visit allottedafter the 30 day period and to drop off her dentures for repairs under her warranty. Shethanked me for this information and the call was ended.Patient then called the office on 7/27/2020 upset over the phone stating that the lettershe received was full of lies.No refunds can be provided as the patient has had 4 sets of dentures made which all ofthem were approved by her and are noted with her signature, we remade them as acourtesy to continue to try and make her happy, her dental implants were healthy andstrong at her last visit to our office.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I still do not have any dentures that I can wear. I paid well above the cost of the implants and am again requesting that portion of my money be returned immediately. The signatures are only for placement of teeth - as you told me each time - they are NOT about fit. The current and only denture I have from you does not extend to the back of the ridge, does not stay in and if I glue it, the gum swells around it causing a lot of pain. The bottom line is that I paid for a product you have made, and remade, because they are not right!! That still remains the fact. I am still wearing the same dentures I walked in there with a year ago, except now they are also messed up because of the "work" you've done to them trying to make them work with implants they weren't intended to be used with. The current denture you made not only doesn't cover my ridge but is NOT what I signed off on. The last Friday I spent the day out there, while you were closed because of COVID19 - I was there again because the impression the tech took for this set was so bad that the teeth on the left side of my mouth could not close together and your lab tech said the only way that could happen is a bad impression, and would have to be redone. That Friday I took yet another vacation day and spent the day out there while he tried repair yet another denture. The teeth close, but it doesn't even fit my mouth AND the left front tooth is in the middle of my face. I DID NOT SIGN OFF ON THIS DENTURE AS IT WAS DONE ON THE FLY WHEN ONLY YOUR TECH AND LAB TECH WERE THERE. These dentures are completely worthless and I will not take no for an answer. You used my dental benefit, you took my money, you opened a care credit account for me, you cost me a small fortune in lost wages and vacation time and travel expense for absolutely nothing. I do NOT have a set of dentures that fit, I would never have signed off on something that looks or fits like this.I asked repeatedly and constantly to all of you to return the money I've paid to you above the cost of the implants, as it was painfully apparent to me that you all could not make a denture that is acceptable. I didn't want to continue to drive 40 miles one direction twice a week or more, while you kept trying. However, those requests were flat ignored. I am again requesting that you refund my money above the implants. You say the implants are healthy, I am not confident in that either but will have them checked when I can afford to see another provider and start over with a crew that can actually make a functional and normal looking set of dentures. Please understand that I do hope the Revdex.com can help me resolve this, but this will not be my last step in trying to recover some of the money I've paid you, and lost in work/vacation time and travel expense if they cannot.I had reached the impasse you spoke of a long, long time ago but my repeated requests for you to stop the work and return my money were ignored.Revdex.com - please look at the complaints you have on file currently from other patients. Please look at the reviews you can find on *** and other places on the web - this answer is pretty standard for all of the patients that complain it would seem. The behavior issues and the patient being at fault. I am likely going to reach out to the Consumer Protection Agency and to the Missouri Bar Association in addition to other organizations. It would seem this business doesn't care about providing quality products or patient care, they just care about taking our money. If I am unable to resolve this here I will have no choice but to reach out to an attorney and try to recover those expenses, plus the lost wages, money I've overpaid, etc. in court. One last thing - when they speak about the sore on my lip. The tech did take a picture, as I previously reported. However, I was only told to "keep an eye on it". No one referred me to another doctor of any sort from this office. The only mention of the "Dr" in this office was that the tech had told him about it and literally she told me that he said "well it will either go away or it won't". I seriously wonder how many people they are going to steal money from before someone shuts them down. I will not just go away here, I have nothing for the time and money I've invested in this and I need the product I went to them to get more now than I did a year ago. I honestly begged these people to refund my money and let me go months and months ago. I had to tell my boss exactly what I was doing because I was spending more time in their office than at work most weeks. The office manager of this office told me that if I didn't care about the aesthetics of the dentures, this would be done. Most people do care. I care. And for the amount of money they charged, I most definitely care. I DO NOT HAVE A FUNCTIOAL SET OF DENTURES AND NEED THEM TO RETURN MY MONDAY SO I CAN HAVE SOME MADE! THEY WASTED OVER A YEAR OF MY TIME!!When you send someone a letter telling them you don't want to see them anymore because they behaved so badly, but you'll see them one more time to fix your own mistake, it doesn't leave the patient with a very good feeling. There is no way they are going to be able to fix this denture in one visit. The tooth in the middle of my head cannot be moved. I ALSO PAID FOR 12 MONTHES OF ADJUSTMENTS WHICH THEY ASSURED ME WOULD START WHEN I RECEIVED THE FINAL DENTURE - THEY ARE REFUSING THAT PORTION OF THE SERVICE I PAID FOR ALSO.

Regards

I first arrived to this establishment on October 31st 2019 to see the dentist about a sore tooth and also wanting a partial. Well, they never allowed me to see a dentist, I was on the schedule with the manager *** to just be fitted with the partial. I know this, because I was left in the room for hours (I was forgotten about) and they had the schedule pulled up, with everyone's names etc and I saw I was under ***'s schedule. I was told that this would all be billed to my insurance, but I would have to put $500 down upfront and then would have my money back after the claim was approved. Come December, I got a bill for the remaining balance. They never even submitted the claim. I have been calling them and the insurance company for over 5 months several times a month. The insurance company has told me every time I talk to them, that they are waiting on information from the dental company. Whenever I try to talk to the insurance specialist, she just tells me she will submit it in a few days. I have called the manager today and weeks prior and I still have not gotten a call back. So, now I am stuck with an uncomfortable/hideous partial and a balance of $549 when I already paid $500 down. My insurance company told me I only should have paid $50 for. There were more major problems along the way, but this is the main one.

Made an appointment for dentures based on a referral from my dentist. At the first appointment, I was quoted $4,500 for dentures with pins in the bottom for bone loss and $6,500 to add pins on the top as well. My insurance will cover $2,000 and I would be contacted about payment arrangements for the balance. A few days later I was contacted by Kevin, who was super understanding and explained that with $500 down, they would be able to get me dentures. I showed up to my appointment for the dentures and was told Kevin wasn't available and that the cost now is $8,800, and they required $4,000 down to do the work. They had already numbed my mouth at this point, and when I explained what Kevin had said, they said they weren't able to contact him. I had only the $500 I was told I would need so I left.

I just received a bill and they have billed my insurance $2,300 for a complete set dentures. I do not have dentures. This is insurance fraud and I have contacted my insurance.
