Review: Mr. Wright came to my home on 6-24-2013 to check A/C unit was not working @ this time he told me he would try to repair the original unit. Which he did & charged me $875.00. The unit worked for about 2 weeks and it started making a loud noise again and quit working. I called Mr. Wright several times before I reached him, he came back again and @ this time he told me the unit needed replaced so I agreed. He told me this was a new Heil unit and I paid him cash of $2780 for the unit. Once again 2 weeks later this unit began making a loud noise. I called Mr. Wright to have him come once again to check this new unit. He came and said apparantly he had put two much freon in the unit when he installed the unit. I had asked him for a warranty when he put the new unit in and he said he had left the warranty in his other truck and he would bring in to me. To this date 8-23-2013 I have not received the warranty papers. I feel I have gave him ample time to bring me the warranty. He has promised, even said he would leave it my door if I wa not home. He has done neither. My son [redacted] and myself have called several times trying to reach him and we've had not been successful. Mr. Wright has promised me for the last 3 months to bring this to me. My concern is if the unit was new as he said, why didn't he have the papers the day he put in my unit. My concern is still making a loud noise when it turns on. I call and can never reach Mr. Wright and he doesn't return my calls. My future concern is next when I need to use the unit if its going to operate properly in the summer and I have no warranty.Desired Settlement: I want to make sure that what Mr. Wright promised me true. Which was that Mr. Wright said he put a new Heil A/C unit in my home with a warranty. This is what I want. So if the unit should quit working a will have a warranty to get it fixed or replace.

Mr. Wright went to the consumer's home and checked the unit and brought her the book/warranty.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Regards,[redacted]

Review: I have been trying for four months to get mr wright to come service my ac unit that he installed in my home over the summer. I have made numerous calls to get him to come out. He said that he will come out. And then he does not show up or call. My electric bills are double what they should be. I had AEP come to check my meter an they said it was fine. I had [redacted] come out an check the house. He told me there was a problem with the ac unit. I dont know what else to do short of going to court over this. I hope this will bet his attention.Desired Settlement: I want him to come out an fix the ac system... that's all I want.

Mr [redacted] said in his complaint that he had called before the problem had occurred (look at dates) He had called asking to check his heat pump which we installed the outside a/c unit ONLY and the t-stat, He had his half brother with [redacted] to check his heat. why? I had told Mr. [redacted] that I have been working out of town and would check when I got back into town which I did. On February 16th I checked the heat pump I installed and found no problems. Iwent inside to check the t-stat and found no problem. I then checked his furnace in attic (which was there found main control wires burnt inside furnace unit in attic. The reason is the main wire had burnt the installation off and it had gotten hot and drawed in the relay and was stuck in holding in heat mode only. Got electric heat turned off and told Mr. [redacted] that he may have to replace control board if ¡t sticks again. His complaint was on his electric heat in hisfurnace in the attic which I did not install and had nothing to do with the a/c unit on the outside that I replaced for him in June 2016. Mr. [redacted] could have called any heating company for this service call, it had nothing to do with the a/c install that I did, this problem was in his furnace in the attic which is app 10-15 years old.In conclusion the result is that I repaired his electric heat free of charge, this should have been a service call search and repair, but instead I took the high road and took care of it for him. He is a really nice guy. Can not figure out why AEP or [redacted] did not find this problem????? Again Mr. [redacted] had a problem with his furnace and it d¡d not have anything to do with the a/c unit I installed. He said the a/c is doing great. I think someone else should havegotten this letter!!Sincerely,Wrights Heating and AirWallace Wright (owner)
