Review: In March 2**2 my wife and I were contacted to come to a meeting for timeshare owners to learn about the [redacted] Points Program. We were already members in [redacted] "Weeks Program" for several years in conjunction with our other timeshare resorts; and we were familiar with the newer points programs as with [redacted]. I must say that from the outset this meeting and what followed was unlike any other "timeshare" experience we had known. The man who held the meeting, and for all intent and purpose, represented Wroman LLC, [redacted], [redacted] Points and [redacted], as he was the only person in charge at this event it was the only meeting we attended about this resort and [redacted] Points. When the meeting ended, and no one else appeared interested. I was the only one asking questions during this meeting and the man holding the meeting approached my wife and I to inquired if we were interested. He claimed he could get us into the [redacted] Points program if we bought into the [redacted] for $*.**. Since I was in other points programs and interested with [redacted] we joined and purchased into [redacted], a [redacted] Points Resort. From this very strange beginning, it continued over the many years we were with [redacted]. In January, 2**3 I wrote [redacted] and [redacted] after contacting Wroman LLC and [redacted] exchange to see why I had not received any information in regards to our “supposed” ownership - nearly a year after we purchased. We never used the resort and by 2**8 I asked for their assistance, in regards to any information on selling or renting my unit. I do not recall any reply to this inquiry from [redacted], but [redacted] did send some information. Although we never used this resort, our maintenance fees continued to go up from the original $[redacted].** to $[redacted].** in 20*3. In addition there was also [redacted] Points fees every year. (On one of the bills from [redacted], they reference that they had no phone number for us, even though we have had the some phone number since [redacted]...??? - and thus were unable to contact us!) At times we were able to contact [redacted] at [redacted]., other times to [redacted] at [redacted]., and other times to [redacted].? We have requested to be released from this "agreement" many times, given my age and health, but there has been very little useful assistance in this unfortunate dilemma.Desired Settlement: Have our names released from this timeshare.
