Mr [redacted] , Aug24, 2015In response to your recent letter pertaining to Mrs [redacted] more than half of what she said in her statement was untrue including dates and monetary amountsYou can see that for yourself in the actual Estimate/Agreement attached that I sent to her husband Mr [redacted] ***I did have my attorney review the Estimate/Agreement and upon her council I refunded an amount I felt was fair due to the fact that I had to redo the Estimate/Agreement twice according to the changes they made during the planning stage of the deckAlso because of the time it took to put together not one but two different material lists, again because of their changes, I charged them the time I spent figuring out the material they would need to accomplish the jobAs far as I know they went ahead and used that list for another Contractor to complete the jobAlso as you will see in the Estimate/Agreement I asked for a 20% deposit, which was actually $(non-refundable), but being the type of person I am, when Mr [redacted] asked if he could just send half of it since it was more than a month from the estimated start time I agreed.Another hold up of the job was the inclement weather that we had throughout the month’s of May and JuneThis, as with many other Contractors in the area, put me more than weeks behind scheduleMr [redacted] seemed to understand this but Mrs [redacted] all of a sudden, just couldn’t wait.At this time I have not heard anything more from the ***’s since I informed them that I had sent a refund to them.Thank you for your time in this matter and I am sorry that Mrs [redacted] felt she had to get you involvedThis is the first time in ½ years of business that anything like this has happenedIf you need any type of references of my character please just askI have dozen’s and dozen’s of them that continue to call me back because of my upstanding professionalism and high quality of work.Best Regards,Denis O’***P.SIf Mrs [redacted] continues to smear my good name because of her impatience, I won’t hesitate to file a defamation of character suit against her

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThank you for getting involvedIf you hadn't, we would have never received any refund at all, so I believe this is a fair resolution.
Regards,

Mr. [redacted],    Aug. 24, 2015In response to your recent letter pertaining to Mrs. [redacted] more than half of what she said in her statement was untrue including dates and monetary amounts. You can see that for yourself in the actual Estimate/Agreement attached that I sent to her...

husband Mr. [redacted]. I did have my attorney review the Estimate/Agreement and upon her council I refunded an amount I felt was fair due to the fact that I had to redo the Estimate/Agreement twice according to the changes they made during the planning stage of the deck. Also because of the time it took to put together not one but two different material lists, again because of their changes, I charged them the time I spent figuring out the material they would need to accomplish the job. As far as I know they went ahead and used that list for another Contractor to complete the job. Also as you will see in the Estimate/Agreement I asked for a 20% deposit, which was actually $800.00 (non-refundable), but being the type of person I am, when Mr. [redacted] asked if he could just send half of it since it was more than a month from the estimated start time I agreed.Another hold up of the job was the inclement weather that we had throughout the month’s of May and June. This, as with many other Contractors in the area, put me more than 6 weeks behind schedule. Mr. [redacted] seemed to understand this but Mrs. [redacted] all of a sudden, just couldn’t wait.At this time I have not heard anything more from the [redacted]’s since I informed them that I had sent a refund to them.Thank you for your time in this matter and I am sorry that Mrs. [redacted] felt she had to get you involved. This is the first time in 16 ½ years of business that anything like this has happened. If you need any type of references of my character please just ask. I have dozen’s and dozen’s of them that continue to call me back because of my upstanding professionalism and high quality of work.Best Regards,Denis O’[redacted]P.S. If Mrs. [redacted] continues to smear my good name because of her impatience, I won’t hesitate to file a defamation of character suit against her.
