Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because there is still a problem with the advertising: I appreciate the response about the app not aligning with the resultsIt sounds complicated, and think it could be a better experienceIt did happen more than once, and I didn't document the days that it happenedThere were times I felt the product I purchased was not authentic because of this experienceI don't know how to comment further on it After checking the website again, there is no change on AlgorithmTrading.net's advertising strategyWhen a prospective customer is looking at the Due Diligence link (as already mentioned in our correspondence here) --> History of Packages --> Download Legacy Package Results, he or she will see a document that merges actual results with non-actual results, giving the sense that the algorithms took a set amount of money and raised it to a higher amount over time, when in actuality, it did not produce those actual results, and did not have that true historyThe language of "History of Packages" and "Legacy Package Results" gives a potential customer the sense they are looking at actual results and an actual history, but with combined data used in their documentation, it is a partial fiction, a half truth that is easy to believeIt is my belief that the data should be separated into two catagories, back tested results, and actual results to clear any doubt of advertisingThe two should not be combined This combination of data creates a sense of the truth, and is not a straight forward product, and convolutedIt should be changed for me to be satisfied with AlgorithmicTrading.net's responseThis is the response that I think is appropriateI don't think I am asking for too much, just more clarity in the product being sold, and the true actual results of past products sold, being separated from non-actual results Hope this also gives the company more credibility, and a more forthright presentation of what they are trying to do

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response, but first:
Thank you for your thoughtful response. Here is what I believe should be seen on our your “Past Performance” link: 1) no presentation of back-tested data, only actual...

results. Rational: When you merge fiction with reality, it is not clear what is really past performance. For example, here is a screen shot (attached) of the last year of the S&P Crusher data.
There was a loss in the 2016 data, but the quarters add together for that year's data imply a gain because it takes into account backtested data in the first quarter. Also, it should not be advertised as a gain year. But maybe I am reading it wrong, and if I am, then I believe the data is too convoluted, and complex for its purpose of reporting past performance. Backtested data should be separated out of this report altogether.
Also, you did not address why the iPhone app that reported my account data, did not always align with the daily statements.
I also appreciate what you are working on. I believe algorithms could be used to see patterns and trends that make investing more predictable, but I think the unpredictability of the market is a reality, too. This should be more clearly seen in live data. Back tested data needs to be totally separated out from from your live data for me to happy and satisfied of what your advertising.

[redacted] purchased from us over a year ago. I attached his signed sales contract. No one ever guaranteed he would make 10% per month. We don't do that and no one in their right mind would believe that is possible. The algorithms have had various rough patches, however we delivered on the product we...

offer on our website. As our contract states, the purchase is non refundable. He used the algorithms for a year and now wants a refund. We will not be able to provide him with one per our contract.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because there is still a problem with the advertising:
I appreciate the response about the app not aligning with the results. It sounds complicated, and think it could be a better experience. It did happen more than once, and I didn't document the days that it happened. There were times I felt the product I purchased was not authentic because of this experience. I don't know how to comment further on it.
After checking the website again, there is no change on AlgorithmTrading.net's advertising strategy. When a prospective customer is looking at the Due Diligence link (as already mentioned in our correspondence here) --> History of Packages --> Download Legacy Package Results, he or she will see a document that merges actual results with non-actual results, giving the sense that the algorithms took a set amount of money and raised it to a higher amount over time, when in actuality, it did not produce those actual results, and did not have that true history. The language of "History of Packages" and "Legacy Package Results" gives a potential customer the sense they are looking at actual results and an actual history, but with combined data used in their documentation, it is a partial fiction, a half truth that is easy to believe. It is my belief that the data should be separated into two catagories, back tested results, and actual results to clear any doubt of false advertising. The two should not be combined.
This combination of data creates a false sense of the truth, and is not a straight forward product, and convoluted. It should be changed for me to be satisfied with AlgorithmicTrading.net's response. This is the response that I think is appropriate. I don't think I am asking for too much, just more clarity in the product being sold, and the true actual results of past products sold, being separated from non-actual results.
Hope this also gives the company more credibility, and a more forthright presentation of what they are trying to do.
