Good Morning ***.I have been in New York all week and not on email, so I did not see this. However, I did get back today, and am answering emails now.I also received an email from the Revdex.com with some every strange information on it that could not have possibly ever come from my
establishment. I was willing to work with you as we discussed, but felt it only fair that you provide me with a note that explains why you might not be able to use the gift certificate that you purchased (knowing it was non- refundable)I do not need to know personal reasons, or causes specifically, but If you or a family member are undergoing care that is all I would need to know, with a professionals backing. We agreed on that when we last communicated. You have not been lied to or cheatedWe simply do not normally refund gift certificates as was explained to you by everyone you spoke toI can assure you that no one in my establishment would ever say “we don’t care about people only about money” as you said to the Revdex.com.I am more than happy to have your money refunded and a check cut from our corporate office, once you provide me with appropriate back up of any kind so I can release the funds.Thank you *** ***Managing DirectorLake Austin Spa Resort

I am rejecting this response because:I should not have to compromise personal medical information, as protected by hippaaThis is a very personal family matter, and we do not appreciate this business making things this much harder on usIt is very obvious this is not a customer centered business, or you would not be putting us through thisThis is very degrading during such a vulnerable timeWe will not be able to use the certificate due to medical reasons which we're having a hard time dealing with as it isWe've used this business before, so as repeat customers we didn't think we would be treated this way, and would receive some compassion and understandingYou do not have your customers' best interest at heart which you're making abundantly clearWe need to be refunded for this, please stop treating us this way and making an already complicated, and very private, personal, and delicate situation that much worse.
