Review: Hello, I have ordered train tickets with a hotel reservation on Amtrak's website (reservation number 633CA7), but they refused offering hotel reservation as it in the confirmation letter. It says "the hotel reservation cannot be processed" and my card is not charged for the hotel (Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center, Portland, OR). However, I have found the fee $203.81 appeared on my bill. I have called Amtrak customer service first, and they say hotel reservations are taken care by their business partner iSeatz. When I contacted with iSeatz's customer servers, they say the fee has been charged by the hotel, but they refused to deal with the hotel even though they are in position of the travel agent. After contacting with the hotel by myself, I realized there is a reason to believe that this issue was caused by iSeatz's mistake. While I was informed that "the hotel reservation cannot be processed", the hotel has actually received the reservation; therefore the hotel charged me for no show. However, iSeatz never response why they sent contradictory information to the hotel and consumer. Even though I checked the reservation status online one day after I traveled, it still showed the same - "the hotel reservation cannot be processed". Since iSeatz informed me that they were not able to offer the service, I believe they should not charge me for it.Desired Settlement: I would like to submit this request to get the refund of $203.81 that should have not been charged.

Review: I recently reserved ground transportation for an upcoming international trip via Marriott-iSeatz ([redacted]). Due to changes in my travel plans, I attempted to cancel the reservation for a refund and also out of respect for the drivers. Unfortunately, the website does not provide any way to electronically cancel a reservation nor does it provide a direct number. The only numbers provided are for car rentals which does not apply to my situation. Only an email is provided.To further complicate matters, the confirmation email provided a number ([redacted]) which was disconnected. An email to the provided address yielded no response. The confirmation email did provide an international number, but I did not call it due to costs. Attempting to resolve this issue by phone, I called one of the other numbers provided by Marriott-iSeatz for car rental ([redacted]). Their only response was that they are unable to help since they have no ability to access the information. A second attempt at calling this same number ended up with being on hold for nearly 1.5 hours and talking to the supervisor who was unable to either understand or appreciate that the existing methods for contacting the appropriate person was not possible given the disconnect phone number and non-response by email. The customer service representatives appeared to be inadequately trained or capable of helping anyone and the company appears to be so disjointed that they are unable to even provide a number to a different service. In summary, the biggest concern here is for other travelers. With such poor customer support and lack of means to communicate with the service provider, it places travelers at risk for being unable to change reservations or worse. It is unacceptable to have in disconnected phone number in the United States. Moreover, it is a serious oversight by the company for providing inaccurate and ineffective contact information on their confirmation emailDesired Settlement: I only want to cancel my reservation and receive a full refund. Additionally, iSeatz should update their contact information since this is a potential safety issue for travelers who use their service.
