Placed an order on Jan 1st 2016, payment processed that same day and a confirmation was sent right away. Then we heard nothing else from this "company" for two weeks. During this time, we tried calling the two numbers listed for them, one gives just a busy signal no matter what day or time you call it and the other will just let you leave a voicemail that will not be responded to. We e-mailed twice to inquire about our order and finally got a vague one sentence message saying "let us check this and will e-mail soon, have a productive day". 24 hours after that we hadn't heard anything. No legitimate company needs that long to check an order! So I e-mailed them saying to either send the product I ordered with a verifiable tracking number OR refund my money that same day and that I was going to turn them in as a fraudulent scam company because of their non-existent customer service dept and lack of correspondence after taking my money!! I went ahead and notified the fraud dept at the local police office, the fraud dept at my bank and spoke with people at pay pal because I had started reading reviews about this 'company' and they weren't good AT ALL. They replied to that last e-mail with a "confirmation of refund receipt and stated "we are not fraud, it's unfortunate you are making this accusation, we were closed for the holidays, have a wonderful day". I still was not going to trust them because another reviewer had stated they "refunded" his money and sent the "receipt" but he never actually got it! So, the next morning, we get a call from the fraud dept at our bank that someone in California tried to use our card TWICE right before the refund was sent. What a coincidence, right?? We got the refund and the amount was what we had paid, yet the "refund receipt' stated they would be sending a different amount because of a "fee". I figured they would "refund" me and then cancel the transaction somehow keeping the money. Who knows how these people work. I had figured I wasn't going to see a penny back anyway and the best I could hope for was for the bank and fraud dept's to continue checking into these people. So, I was shocked they actually refunded the whole amount we had paid, but had we not pursued action, we wouldn't have seen our money at all!!! Of this, I am certain. Also, had we not blocked our accounts, they could have taken the money back via other people involved with them in California and we definitely may not have gotten our money back! This company is supposedly out of Florida but I'm being told there are scam rings that bounce your card info around to different people in different states that are involved in the same scam. We then realized that although the mypetcrates website lists PayPalPro as a payment venue, we were never asked to 'log in' to our pay pal account and therefore that probably meant our payment was actually done directly to the website (giving them access to our card info) and not securely through pay pal. We should have been smarter, but..... Anyway, you get the picture...DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, it looks good but it is NOT!! I encourage anyone that has had issues with these people to write reviews online, turn them in to fraud departments at your banks and police departments, and tell anyone you know NOT to use this website!! From now on, we will stick to the few tried and true websites that we've used for years. Lesson learned!
