This company has an advertisement at the top of the results page when one searches for "change of address form." I went through the process, thinking this was a part of the *** service. I was distraught at the time and desperate to get my address changed (which I'm sure is what they're banking on; elderly, disabled, or otherwise unsavvy or unsuspecting). I didn't realize until I was done that it was a scam. I feel like a total it. If I wasn't so poor I'd let the whole thing go, but $60 is a lot of money and there's no way these people should be allowed to do this.

When you search *** address change, urgentaddresschange.com is the first to pop up. I was attempting to change my address before I move and thought this was the official *** address change website. It is a scam. They charge $50 instead of $1.05 (what *** charges) and don't actually complete the address change. They promise to refund you, but they put me on hold for hours and then stopped answering my calls altogether. They didn't respond to email either. Truly a scam.

This online company provides address changes for people. Since I recently moved I googled address change online and clicked on the first link that came up which is the one in my complaint. Not only did my address fail to be changed through the USPS, but they charged me something different than what was on their website. Upon realizing that I was overcharged and that the change of address never went through, I emailed them to request a refund since they claim a "60-day money back, no questions asked guarantee." It has been weeks and I have not received my refund. Additionally, every time I call them to inquire about it, they put me on an indefinite hold, or hang up on me. I was charged $49.90 on 02/07/2020.
