Www.watermark.ws

I subscribed and used this service for a few years, however I stopped using it in April 2019. On 9/6/19 I received a text alert from my bank that a charge of $49.99 from www.watermark.ws was attempted twice and declined both times. The bank requested that I respond YES or NO if I authorized the charges. I responded NO. I sent a message to the merchant asking that they cancel my service. They did not respond. On 9/13/19 $49.99 charged to my credit card by watermark.ws. I contacted my credit card co. who instructed me to attempt to resolve with the merchant. I messaged the merchant again on 9/24/19 explaining the above and requesting a refund, and on that sam day I figured out how to cancel my service myself. Still no response from merchant as of 10/18/19. I filed a dispute with ***. Finally the merchant responded and he stated that he would have given me a refund, however now that I had filed the dispute with my credit card company, it was now in their hands. *** did an investigation and determined that I should not be refunded the charge. The 7 page letter informing me of this included screenshots of my account and statements from the merchant that were false. The merchant stated that I never contacted them. This is not true, I have proof of multiple messages sent. He also stated that I continued to use the service, also untrue, I have not used it since April 2019. The merchant has now charged me $49.99 for service from 9/2019 through 9/2020 but has, even after I cancelled my service myself, which entitled me use through 9/2020, closed the account completely. So essentially, the merchant took money and closed my account, charged me for a service that I no longer receive. This merchant has been deceptive, has lied to the investigator of the dispute, and has taken my money without providing the service. Granted I no longer want the service, but it is not good business to operate in such a manner.
