I strongly disputed the report presented by the "shop manager." Buyer direct messaged (via Instagram) the artist approximately 2 weeks before the appointment (Jan 9th) with new designs for the tattoo appointment. 2 new designs were emailed to the artist at this time before the appointment took place on Jan 25th. These designs were much more simple in nature. The buyer maintains that the artist and "shop manager" are falsifying this report at will.Post-tattoo, Buyer attempted to contact the artist 1 time via Instagram regarding tattoo, and only 1 time via phone call to the shop. At this time, the "shop manager" claimed "yeah, I heard about the tattoo, he said he gave you exactly what you wanted." Then, the "shop manager" proceeded to claim that she would inform the artist to contact the buyer. However, the artist never made any attempt to contact the buyer post the 1 phone call to the shop/nor the 1 attempt via Instagram. No mention of "sub-contracted artists" in the shop were ever made to the buyer. At no point in the discussion via Instagram or via phone call did the shop manager ever offer the buyer an opportunity for reimbursement or a chance for any of the artists in the shop to touch up the tattoo. The buyer maintains that the "shop manager" is offering falsification of this report in an attempt to benefit the shop and the artist, Lu. The tattoo shop is fabricating and manipulating the facts of this transaction in a veiled attempt to wrongfully protect its employee at my expense. It is also refusing to remedy the situation as retaliation for my dissatisfaction with one of its employees and for initiating this complaint. I fully understand the risks with getting a tattoo, and I accepted these risks when I signed the waiver. However, I did not agree to the work in its current state. At no point did I ever express or insinuate to the artist that I was "pleased" with my tattoo. I am extremely dissatisfied with the results and now have a permanent reminder of it on my wrist. The handling of this matter and the shops' failure to take accountability only adds insult to injury.

Review: After 2 appointments were cancelled by the artist, I finally secured a third appointment with Lu. Received a tattoo from Lu. It looks nothing like what I had asked for. I tried contacting the artist via email as well as phoning the shop, and my attempts to communicate were never returned. I ended up emailing the manager and she also never responded.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund or a different artist to touch up the tattoo.
