Wynfield Park Reviews (2)

December 8, 2014
To whom it may concern,I am writing in response to the December 5th letter sent to Wynfield Park regarding charges applied for damages after move out from our community. The complaint to your office speaks to the damages being due to "normal wear".I worked directly...

with the former resident to try and come to a resolution. The customer felt the carpet should be changed, regardless, after each resident vacates. I pointed out the executed lease agreement states the carpet was new at move in and is expected to last 5 years. I provided a copy of the lease which states carpet wear and tear is taken into consideration. The carpet, however, was installed 14 months ago, just prior to the customer occupying the apartment home. This left 46 months of expected life on the carpet and the customer was charged accordingly.I have attached the same photos I shared with the resident.Respectively,

I am rejecting this response because: Wynfield Apartment is charging me outrageously. If you see the stains on that carpet they can be steam cleaned like they do with other apartments. You cant' ask me to pay for a replacement carpet as though I destroyed the whole carpets in the  apartment. These are just a few tiny spots which could happen to anyone. Looking at the pictures you will see that there's no justification as to why i'm being charged for replacement carpet. I have also attached pictures of the apartment I took upon move out and I shared same pictures with the Business. Also, Mr Matthew L[redacted] (Manager) made no attempt to come to a resolution, on the contrary he kept on insisting that I pay the said amount, without even seeing my own point of view.  It is also worth noting that, the amount includes my security deposit; meaning I am actually being charged a whole lot.  You will also find attached pictures of every area in the house that I took and I want them to explain to me why normal depreciation would be a burden for me to bear.  I dont care about the security deposit anymore, all I want is for this to be settled because I don't want to keep going back and forth with someone I tried to explain myself to but doesn't seem to understand.
.
NB
The pictures of the Refrigerator and Gas stove, I am not disputing those and I take full responsibility for those and  i had long agreed with the business. I'm more concerned about the carpet.
Regards,
