I was required to pay cash for a hotel stay that was never booked.
This company required that I use PayPal, Wire transfer, or apple pay to complete a reservation for an all inclusive resort months prior to my travel date. They stated that they would not send confirmation of my travel until 2-weeks prior to travel. When the 2-weeks prior to travel, no confirmation was sent and when I called they stated that the hotel was never booked and now it is full. They offered me other options, but at 5x the original price.

I was told that I would receive a refund, but it would be mailed check, which I have yet to receive.

Desired Outcome

I would like my money returned. I would also like to share my experience so that other peoples vacations are not ruined by this company.

Hello,
Per our terms and conditions the customer has signed a non refundable agreement. This complaint is False as we went over and above to issue this customer a refund on a non refundable transaction. The customer did understand it could take up to 30 days to receive his check. That time frame has not passed as of this complaint being placed. All of our terms and conditions are posted on over bookings/canceled reservations. No refund will be issued at this time. The customer may reschedule his vacation anytime in the 2 years with a 30 day advance notice per his signed contract.

I was very skeptical about this company and my vacation. I started to believe once I booked my reservation it was fradulant. This is legitimate. I had a great time in Puerto Rico and now planning my next vacation. Customers Service was great with providing me with the all the information needed. Thanks again to this company for allowing me to travel for great rates.

Booked vacation paid & extra to guarantee hotel. Bought flight. 2wks to travel called and told resort oversold. There was nothing they could do
Let me start this by stating this was supposed to be my "I survived breast cancer" celebration trip with my closest friend that went to every single Dr. chemo and radiation appointment with me. I was diagnosed last January 2018 and finished chemo in June and radiation in July and was given a clean bill of health travel.
I pu***ased one of the Wynpoints Resorts Rentals Inc. packages back on 10/3/18 with an option for second package at the same price at time of booking. I originally booked us for 1/24-28/19 on 11/27/18 on the phone and bought the second package for my brother and his girlfriend. I received a confirmation for the Secrets Vallarta Bay which I paid to upgrade. See attached. I then called to have the date changed (they offer one free date change) on 12/11/18 to the travel dates of 2/7-11/19 and they said I had to do it via their online form. I did and received an email asking for the upgrade fees again that I originally paid on 11/27/18. I called and told them I already paid that and he verified the change and said never mind I was paid in full. I waited but I never received an updated confirmation or the voucher of travel promised within 15 days of travel.
I pu***ased the flights on 1/5/19 through American Airlines for another $1,223.26
1/24/19- 2 weeks to travel - I called them in the morning. Lady said customer service lines backed up would have them call me when the next available rep off phone. Like several times before never received call back. Called them again in the afternoon. Went right to customer service. Rep said pls hold while check. 10 mins later rep comes back on line asks my name again and says pls hold while check. 30 mins later I emailed customer service requesting a manager pick up the line immediately. I received email back they were on the phone with the resort and would help me when can. Then rep picks up the line, I demand to speak to manager, and he says "There is nothing more that a manager can do and it can take up to another 30 mins" then places me on hold. I emailed again at 45mins and 1 hr and finally sent the link of the complaint I was filing with the Revdex.com. I then received an email stating if I filed a false complaint with Revdex.com I would be at fault and lose my money and that the resort was over booked. I could book another location or get a refund. I responded I would be filing especially since I was never notified and let them know I work at an attorney firm and would be speaking with them in the morning. Got a call back after that.
Joseph A tried to tell me that the document I signed originally states reservations are not guaranteed and to buy travel airline insurance. I told them I was guaranteed resort when I paid the upgrade fees to get that, I have the original confirmations with the resort listed and I told them they never notified me that the resort was oversold. WHAT IF I WOULD HAVE JUST GOT ON THE FLIGHT? Then he tried to offer me a free 6 day trip. I said I would never travel with them again and then he said again there are other destinations open. I asked about the nonrefundable airfare and he said I just need to call airline that it shouldn't be that expensive to change, they would offer me a voucher. He sent me some options and sure enough the flight costs, 2 weeks prior to travel, were double. The number one reason we all chose PVR is because of flight time, costs and flights offered from our departing destinations. When checked Cancun and Riviera Maya "alternatives" cost doubled, one flight a day - NON BY American Airlines out of SLC - and flight time increased by one hour to an entire day and a half.
I then emailed them and asked them to send the PVR alternative dates and never received a response.
I am at a complete lose. I spent over $2213.26 of money I didn't have and have nothing to show for it. I have no doubt it is going to be a huge long fight to get my money back from them if at all and the flights are non-refundable. I'm just devastated.

All of our terms and conditions on over bookings/cancelled reservations are signed and agreed before our company accepts payment. We attempted to secure a room with equal or superior accommodations per our terms in the event of a over booking/cancelled reservation. We offered the customer a free vacation for 6 days 5 nights if willing to switch or reschedule nothing satisfied the customer. We offered the customer a full refund she refused to wait to sign our refund discloser before filing False complaints. At this time our no refund policy will stand. The customer may reschedule anytime in the 2 year period.

I don't believe this company should have a license to operate. No one ever informed us of an overbooking. They never sent the updated confirmation nor the promised voucher that was supposed to arrive within 15 days of travel. I had to call and after they were so rude and left me on hold for over an hour, emailed me that they were overbooked while I was still on hold. They threatened me and are now withholding the money they owe me for bringing it to people's attention. This was to be my celebration of life vacation having just survived breast cancer. I am simply devastated. I spent over $2,200 for nothing.

Hello,
We have offered to break our contract and issue the customer a full refund under our terms and conditions. The customer has refused our refund attempt.

It has been 6 months since my refund request has been submitted. Yet, I have not received my refund. In addition, everyone has been avoiding my calls.
I contacted Wynpoint Resort Rental around 8/15/2018 by phone at (1 888-883-9783). I was interested in learning about their promotional travel packages. I was hesitant to make a purchase, but during the call the sales rep repetitively stated, "You can cancel anytime within 7 days for a full refund, no hassle at all, but it's good to at least lock in the promotional prices now because the amount of available packages were limited". After sleeping on it for a night, I call the sales rep the next morning, within less than 24 hours of my initial call. It was important for me to call within the 24 hours because I wanted to cancel the payment before it was processed by my credit card.

When I called, I spoke with the same sales rep who sold me the package. He hassled me about my reason for canceling the package and requesting a refund. He also, informed me that once he processed my request - I would be blacklisted from receiving any future promotions. I confirmed, and proceeded with my refund submission. He then informed me of my options. The 1st was to receive 50% of my payment if I wanted my refund immediately. The 2nd was to receive a full refund after 60 business days. I chose the second option (see CoperateTravRefundReceipt.pdf).

Several weeks goes by and I called Wynpoints during early October 2018, to inform them that I was in the process of moving and to change my address within their system so that they send my refund to my new address.

A few more weeks goes by, and at this time I was beyond the 60 business day mark. It was mid November 2018. I called Wynpoints to inquire on when to expect my refund. A rep informs me that it would take 90 business days, not 60, despite have evidence of 60 days. We argued for roughly 30 minutes before giving in out of irate.

Fast forward a few weeks - now at 90 business days mark, I called Wynpoints on 12/17/2018 to inquire about my refund. However, I was sent to voicemail. I call again on 12/18/2018 and The 1st rep that I spoke with placed me on hold for over an hour after I stated the purpose of my call. The 2nd, and 3rd rep did the same right before hanging the phone up on me.

Frustrated at this point, I called the next day on 12/19/2018. The first call was at 7:18am CST. A rep, answered the phone and place me on hold for a few minutes than hanged up. This was the level of service I was provided. On 12/19/2018 I called a total of 7 times - 7:18am, 7:39am, 7:53am, 2:18pm, 2:19pm, 2:27pm, and 3:21pm (See Calls...png). The first 3 times that I called, a rep answered the phone, never stated their name or business name, placed me on hold than hanged the phone up. The calls made after 2pm when straight to voicemail in which I left a few. I found it ironic that a business will direct a customer's call straight to voicemail after 1 ring.

For the next several day, I continued to call and was rerouted straight to voicemail. By this time I figured they were screening my call/blocking my number, so I called from my work's phone which has a different number, and immediately was answered. But after requesting a manager, I was placed on hold and hanged up on again. This happened every-time afterwards.

During the period of 12/172018 to 12/23/2018 I made attempts to recover the documents that were exchanged between Wynepoints and me. However, all of the transaction documents on Docusign between us had been removed (See Corptrav_forbidden.JPG) luckily; I had already saved some, including CoperateTrave...pdf - signed refund receipt.

This is a fraudulent business.
All of my research of this business points to inconsistent resources, such as different urls for business (1. https://besttravelrate.com/ 2.https://corporatetraveldeal.com/ 3. https://wynpointsresorts.com/), to reps that avoid proving their name and company info. This company is scamming customers and committing fraud. I am asking the Revdex.com to assist me in getting my refund as well as the permanent closure of Wynpoints Resort Rental.

Desired Outcome

I am asking for 2 things. The first is a full refund of $796 for my purchase and same day/(24 hours) cancellation during August 2018. The Second is a $500 fine which I am charging Waynepoint Resort Rentals Inc due to breach of our agreement of 60 days refund contract. Both refund and fine is to be received by or before 2/1/2019 at or before 5PM CST. Failing to compile will result in legal actions.

I have receive no incoming call(s) or email(s) from any individual(s) or representative(s) from Wynpoints Resort Rentals Inc. not now or at any time after the initial purchase date of the product/service in which I filed this complaint against.
I have however, contacted Wynpoints Resort Rentals Inc. and provided my information. If they like to resolved this issues. I will allow them to send a refund to the following address under these conditions.
1) The letter or mail with the refund must be signed for.
2) They must provide a tracking number to me and the Revdex.com for evidence of shipment.
3) The refund must be in the form of certified check or money order.
4) The refund must be received on or by February 8, 2019.
5.) They must also include the late fee as stated in the previous statement.
If Wynpoints Resort Rentals Inc. is unwilling to resolve this case by disagreeing with any/all of my terms and or conditions, they are submitting an admission of guilt in which they are responsible for any and all actions that follow.

This issue has not been resolved. The business has not contacted me nor attempted to contact me to resolve this issue.

I believe that their entire purpose of responding only to the Revdex.com and not with me directly is to appear non-fraudulent. However, they have been avoiding my attempts to resolved this and have not issue any form of apologize not refund.

This business should be closed for Scamming and other fraudulent and unethical business practices.

I contacted the seller multiple times to cancel. The verbiage used as for why I wouldn't be receiving my refund did not match what was in the contract
I purchased this package December 6th, 2018. Per the contract I signed which is attached I have 7 days after date of purchase to cancel with 100% refund. I contacted the seller on December 12th, 2018 to cancel. I was told it had to be sent to corporate because I was outside of my cancellation time (which I was not). I also asked for something in writing, which was sent to me the following day, December 13th. I contacted the seller again the next day for further explanation of why there was an issue when I was within my 7 days. I was told that the date of purchase counts as 1 day, down to the hour of purchase. I was also told "technically" I have 6 days. I explained that that is not what I signed in the contract and the seller told me that is the way it works and corporate will handle it. I requested to speak to someone about verbiage of of the contract against what I was being told, I was told I can contact customer service, however, an email was sent to corporate and I would be contacted in up to 10 business days. I contacted customer service and was told it shows that I called multiple times and there was nothing they could do. Today is January 16th, 2019 and I still have not received a response or a refund from this company.

Desired Outcome

None. I contacted my bank and disputed the charge. I would just like for them to release my money.

Per the screenshots provided, dates attached, they were contacted at 5:47pm to cancel and 6:19pm asking for something in writing. Technically 7 days after my date of purchase would have been Thursday December 13th. Which as stated by the seller I contacted Customer Service. Also, as shown in the attached document, a request only needed to be made in writing if it was in regards to SERVICE DURING TRAVEL!!! Which I have not taken the trip yet. As previously stated, what's outlined in my contract is not adding up to what the seller is trying to tell me. I've provided a highlighted and plain version of the contract to clarify if highlighting made it difficult to read.

Just got my confirmation for the wynpoint blue desert the staff was very helpful and cheerful to help me get things in order

I was leery about using this deal that was too good to be true but after speaking on the phone numerous times I called to verify all the questions I had, they answered each question & made me feel a bit more at ease to try this out! Just booked my air faire & now my first resort to try out. Can't wait!!
