Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The service agreement, ? which was signed in June of 2013, was NOT voluntary according to the employee I spoke with to get service set upI never would have signed it seeing as it was for years had I been given the optionIn June of Wyoming Waste went ahead and renewed this service agreement without any notification or permission from myself or my husbandI believe they purposely renewed it because of fears of competition from new companies that were offering better services in my areaWyoming Waste has left my trash can in the middle of the street on several occasions, at my former residence, they broke a large branch off of one of the trees and left it in the road and I had to call two days later to request them to remedy the situation as I could not move the branch myself it was far too heavy and longI assumed that since the years was up on the service agreement that I was free to take my business elsewhere as a consumerI have curbside service now and trash is always picked up on the day it is supposed to be picked up thanks to [redacted] They have actual courteous and professional customer service? I am still paying the same amount, but I would pay more rather than go back to Wyoming WasteI was told my final bill was somewhere around $and before I could go in to pay it they are harassing me telling me I am stuck with them because of some ridiculous contract written to lock consumers indefinitely into service with Wyoming WasteI believe this is why they are so flippant and careless with how they conduct business and treat their customers Regards, [redacted]

Response to complaint ID: *** In looking at the customers account we received a call Oct17,stating the trash was missed 10/16/17. It was stated by the customer at that time it was just the one miss that took place. We had the driver return to the address
10/17/and service the trash cart. The next interaction with the customers was April 24, 2018, we had a new driver that started April 2, and in learning the route he had missed the trash cart Monday 4/23/18. The driver was able to go back 4/25/to service the cart. On 5/1/we received a call from customer stating they wanted to cancel service at that time we brought up that they had voluntary signed a service agreement that was valid until 10/7/2020, if they wished to proceed with the cancelation there would be liquidated damages due. A certified letter was sent to customer explaining the charges. The customer brought the cart to our facility to return we asked about the liquidate damages payment and the customer stated *** this and left. Wyoming Waste wants to keep all their customer happy with the service unfortunately there are times when a new driver may miss a service in the process of learning the route, we make sure to address all misses and return to the address to have services performed. On June 1st I canceled my service because of job lay offI spoke with your office and they told me I had a $creditI ask for a refund and they said no problem but not till the end of JuneI said ok but sure could use the moneyJune came and wentI phoned on July They said bookkeeping problems with new program check will be mailed Fri July The fourth was on Sat so I figured Monday for the check...nopeTues I went to the officeThe receptionist said they were having trouble with new system but she could hand write the check BUT not till FridayI told her I would be back Fri she said it would take a couple daysOn Friday July 10th will be weeksSeriously I know for a fact you would not continue my service if I were late but you continue to refuse my refundI will be in Fri for my check!!!
