I am rejecting this response because:Here is the emailed response from IBC:"Mr***, I am hoping that you and I and Bryan can sit down and discuss the issues that you have with us. I will be available Wednesday, January 11th or Friday, January 13th, either date any time between and p.m. Could you please let me know if you can schedule a meeting during any of those time frames. I am not sure right now what Bryan's schedule is, but we will certainly be able to find a time that works for all of us. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you. To all concerned,I am currently out of state so the dates listed would not & did not work for me However, I do not see any benefit to such a meeting, anyway MrsC***, I have been very clear about my experience with Bryan B*** & his representation of IBC and I see no reason to further discuss it with you & him, in person, when it is all laid out right here for you to review already Again, I am greeted with disappointment as IBC fails to focus on the actual issue at hand Anything short of: "Mr***, we are scheduling the completion of your building immediately.", is failing to address "the issues" I have with IBC which is part of "the issues" that I have with IBC Let me reiteratethe real ISSUE with IBC is they have not completed the building I asked for and paid for and they seem to be uninterested in doing so PleaseReplaceWrongColorRoof Thank you for your time I look forward to a completed building from you.Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:The response from IBC is contrived nonsense & lies!!! October is when MrB*** stopped returning my calls - 5-of them over the course of twenty days This was after IBC received a scheduled check from me and after I informed him I was using someone else to do the concrete work at a much better price without dealing with all the blindsiding Bryan was throwing at me I called the IBC office phone (Nov 10) to voice my concern over the dealings with MrB*** since he would no longer answer or return my calls, himself Before I could leave a message, I finally received a call from Bryan's cell phone At that time (like others), he told me he would take care of the outstanding issues so I did not further pursue communication with someone at IBC above MrB*** Perhaps I should have since it now seems apparent he chose to keep things hidden from the rest of IBC How was I to know & why is IBC trying to blame me? In any case, he did not actually return to our project for work until one day after I filed with the Revdex.com, so Nov Every issue on the North wall has since been taken care of between Nov 29-Dec - you know, besides the fact the wall is not located where it should be! We do, however, also still have the wrong roof color just as MrB*** was informed of the day he installed it, Sept I tried to work with MrB*** in finding a way to lessen the impact of that additional IBC expense of replacing the roof skin I would like to reiterate I discussed with Bryan my buying of the current roof skin at a discount to help offset lost IBC funds caused by his error As such, we walked around the site as we discussed contracting IBC for additional construction ideas that would implement the reuse of the current skin that is now on the roof, as well as supply IBC with additional work I was willing to go that route because I liked Bryan & I wanted to help Apparently, MrB*** has chosen not to share that information and experience of "friendly negotiations amongst the parties" with his employer; to which, I am no longer surprised I AM surprised & disappointed to see IBC try to lecture me about negotiating, however, instead of trying to solve the actual & FACTUAL issue at hand! On Nov 10, MrB*** informed me of the delays regarding the damaged tin order, but until then I was unaware of the reasons for this delayperhaps it is because Bryan refused to communicate with me after Oct 21? Also, on Nov 10, (since I FINALLY had him on the phone) I once more asked MrB*** how we are going to resolve the roof issue to which he replied, "We will discuss it when I get there." Fair enough The next time I heard from MrB*** was Nov 22, as he was backing out of my driveway We quickly talked face-to-face then as he sat inside his truck He said, "I just dropped off your metal." I assumed that meant ALL the needed metalincluding the appropriate roof skin, but it did not He then told me (face-to-face) he would return to work on our project on Nov However, because he did not show on Nov as he told me to my face he would, and did not call to explain why, I wondered how many other lies were being told and how many delays I would have to endure, so I justifiably filed with the Revdex.com I understand IBC's desire to stand behind an employee, but in this case, Bryan B*** is an out-and-out liar who cannot even measure a building and this needs to be acknowledged instead of ignored. This project was always first-and-foremost an addition to match the existing structure, period Initially, (July 28) Bryan B*** FAILED TO MEASURE the existing building to MATCH and then FAILED to check the color of the existing roof to MATCH That is NOT my fault and IBC CANNOT even attempt to fault a customer for their own incredibly vague "description/measurement" of a projectMeasurements can be taken from column centers, exterior framing dimensions, interior framing dimensions, or exterior finish dimensions; and as such, dimensions can be nominal or actual The dimensions spoken by a customer are obviously nominal - the dimensions RECORDED by a builder are actualthat is, unless they don't have the sense to actually measure & record an existing building they are supposed to match! We walked the site, discussed options, came up with a game plan, and IBC's builder simply failed to measure and provide us what we asked for IBC states final work and walk-thru was completed on Sept This is incorrect! My proof? The date on the photo I uploaded to the Revdex.com is dated Nov - the day I took the photo! From that photo you can see the project is not complete Furthermore, IBC states in their same response that "finish up work" was completed Nov Also incorrect! Again my photo shows otherwise, but also, a company cannot have a "final walk-thru" FOLLOWED BY "finish up work" two months later, can they? No, not unless there is a document I signed approving additional work; which there is not Nor have I signed the "completion of work" document that MrB*** mentioned as I handed him a check on Sept I told him I would not sign it until everything was done and acceptable I did my part, IBC; I paid on schedule I'm asking that you do your part with no more excuses or internal delays Accept the fact your builder made several errors & I still tried to negotiate with him in a very friendly manner and yet he went silent until I tried to report to someone above him All Bryan B*** had to do was return my calls or come talk to us about unforeseen delays Instead, he opted to feed me lies and silence on rotation Now we are asking you to fix the one remaining problem (while we try to excuse the fact a 'professional contractor/building company' cannot even match an existing building and then TRIES to blame the customer for their own employee's errors of which IBC IS accountable) Very simply Please immediately change out the inappropriate roof skin for skin with the appropriate color Please leave behind the skin that is removed so I may reuse it - at this point, I no longer wish to discuss a price for it as I feel it is owed to us This is a simple thing to understand so I am not sure why it is being ignored by IBC & Bryan B*** for months on end as they compound the problem they have, themselves, created I'm sure we all just want this mess to go away, so let's make it happen!

If he is unwilling to meet with me, I don't see what response I can make.  The invitation to meet is still open.  There were suggested dates, however, if the customer would like to meet upon his return, we would make every effort to find a mutually agreeable time.

I have e-mailed Mr [redacted] and requested a meeting with him, our sales rep and me.

Mr. [redacted],Our company received the above captioned letter on Dec. 16, 2016.  Our company has been on winter break since Dec. 19, 2016 until today....

This response to you was the first thing on my to do list upon my return.  First let me respond that the finish up work on the pole barn was completed on Nov. 21, 2016.  The installation of damaged siding and the requisite trim was held up because of delays from the supplier and the customer was aware of this.  If necessary, I believe our supplier will be able to write, confirming thier delays caused by the delivery of damaged materials. The installation of the overhead door was delayed because the dirt work was not completed in a timely manner.  The dirt work was the responibility of the customer, as stated in the contract bid exclusions.  According to our sales person, he responded to phone messages from the customer.  The customer has never up to this date called the company to voice complaints or concerns.  The customer's signed contract was for a 30 x 36 x 14 pole barn, which is what was constructed.  His statement that it was an imprpoer size was incorrect. The customer was responsible for the pre-construction dirt work and leveling .  The building was erected at the location he specified and prepped.  The customer requested the barn siding be tan with ivory trim.  We installed tan siding with ivory trim. The concrete work was specifically seperated as a seperate line item to give the customer the ability determine if he wanted the concrete work done by us or another.  He did not have the dirt work done in a timely  and correct manner, so that we could schedule the concrete.  When our sales person visited the customer to schedule the door installation and installation of the wall panel and trim, the concrete work was done.   Finally, the contract  clearly defines dispute resolution, beginning with "friendly negotiations amongst the parties".  The customer has not contacted the company with any of the issues listed in [redacted].  The final walk through was completed and final payment was issued on Sept 21, 2016 without mention of the "service Issues". Sincerely, Judi C[redacted]IBC Construction[redacted]
