complaining about. When any glass is removed from old casement windows weathered stops tend to be brittle and may be damaged. We removed these stops to extract the old glass and reinstall
new glass. There iS no other way to do this type of installation. Customer's normally understand this process but Mrs. [redacted] thinks we should maintain wood from an older house without ever damaging it.
On July 1, 2015 we did send our repair installer out to her home and she still is not satisfied about the broken wood stops. Replacement of wood stops normally can be replaced for a charge. These stops would be $50.00 per window and they are not painted. Repairing an old house takes alot of work and normally one project can turn into another.
Our contract does read that unforeseen problems that arise after the work approved may result in additional labor and material costs. Mrs. [redacted] did sign this agreement. Replacement of any wood is at a cost of S50.00 per window. We would be happy to do that for her if she chooses. The repair we did after her
installation is all her contract required. Normally all call backs for repair are scheduled when we are in that area for work.
This is why it took us 3 weeks to get back to her home.

WHEN MR. [redacted] CAME TO MY HOME TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE, HE SAID I MAY HAVE TO TOUCH UP SOME OF THE WOOD WORK WITH PAINT WHEN THE JOB WAS FINISHED. NOT REPLACE MY WOOD. THE TRIM IS COMPLETELY DAMAGED. WHEN THEY SENT THEIR REPAIR MAN OUT ALL THEY DID IS ADD MORE CAULK TO HOLD IN THE DAMAGED TRIM. IT WILL BE JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE, THIS WOOD WORK STARTS TO FALL OFF THE WINDOW. NOT SATISFACTORY WORK AT ALL
