My husband and I found this hotel on Google, it was close to homeWe found black mould in our rental home and needed to leave the property until our landlord dealt with the issue..We arrived at the sleepy lodge, paid for the night, grabbed our room key and went to the bar by Walmart to grab hygiene supplies since we could not bring contaminated belongings from our rental homeUpon entering the room when we came back from Walmart, I inspected the bed immediately and found hairs(including curling short pubic hairs) in between the sheets!!! So gross! Then I proceeded to check the corners for bed bugs and found brown and black sports and skids around each corner(bed bug pooh)!! Not only had these sheets NOT been changed but the room was infested with bed bugs and who knows what elseNot only that but the rooms clearly stated "NO smoking" our room was filled with second hand smoke from the other hotel guests smoking in they're roomsMy husband called the front desk to complain and ask for our money back so we could leave and find another hotel that would take us and our dogThey refused and called the police because we wanted our money back for them having a such a gross environment!! The policeman kindly told use it was a civil matter and to make a complaint with the Revdex.com, which I am doing nowI would never recommend this place, not even to a homeless personThe place appeared to have under gone some minor renos(paint and stick on floors to hide mould) don't be fooled, it's a polished poohNot only was the room horrifying and did they cause us more grief after searching for a clean place to sleep but they took our money and didn't give it back!!! We lost $because we did not want to lodge with bed bugs and second hand smoke and was already not sleeping at our own home for black mouldNastiest place I have ever seen with selfish and rude owners and front desk!! *** ***
