To Whom it May Concern, Re: Hittle Landscaping’s Response to Service Complaint [redacted] Hittle’s contractual agreement to supply and install plant materials, sod and seed is with [redacted] Homes (not Mrs. [redacted]) and they do not warrant any production home landscape installs. ...
The [redacted]s signed a [redacted] document acknowledging no warranty is provided and the homeowner assumes the responsible of caring for the newly seeded lawn. Regarding scheduling of the install, [redacted] continues to sell and close homes throughout the winter months. However, inclement winter weather prohibits landscape installation. [redacted]’s request of Hittle is to install the winter landscape backlog per a schedule dictated by the builder. Hittle met the contractual agreement by installing Mrs. [redacted]’s lawn and landscaping according to [redacted]’s specifications and sequencing as well as the municipality’s tight deadline. Mrs. [redacted] reached out to Hittle landscaping directly and requested a separate proposal for sod at her rear lawn in lieu of the seed provided by her homebuilder. A credit for builder’s seed was offered in that proposal. However, she did not elect to move forward with that alternate sod proposal. Hittle is one of the largest family-owned landscape firms in Central Indiana and we’ve built a good reputation over the past 44 years by doing the right thing. We are aware of Mrs. [redacted]’s dissatisfaction and are working with [redacted] on her behalf to ensure an amicable solution is achieved and she receives a lawn she and her family can be proud of. Respectfully, Scott H[redacted] Director of Business Development Hittle Landscaping, Inc. 17778 Sun Park Dr. Westfield, IN 46074 Mobile: [redacted] Office: 317.896.5697 ext. 226 www.hittlelandscape.com
