Peak Debt has been owing me a refund since September They have been “tracking “ my refund of just shy of $ I have spoken with two representatives Tyson and Breeze who both have stopped communications with me regarding my partial refundThis company maxed out all of my credit cards promising to negotiate my debtAfter several months, no work was done and I requested a refund because they advertised that the work would be done in $daysAfter more than days there had been no progressThis caused me to cancel the agreement and request the refundThe company has ignored all request over the past few months to send my refund
After entering in contract agreement between myself and Teton Debt Settlement company along with their parent company TruNorth Financial (Utah branch); in march of to resolve a few credit issues I was guaranteed resolution of the negotiated credit accounts within days I signed this contract in agreement that they would “consume my debt”, negotiate with these lender accounts on my behalf, and compromise on a payoff amount
As per their policy, I paid them upfront I paid them a total of $20,upon signing the contract Expecting this to be resolved in June 2016; in which it did not happen The process is still going on; and it is currently the end of October 2016; well beyond their “guarantee of days or less”
I have had little communication from both the President of Teton Debt Settlement (Chris M***) and client representative (Aaron N***) I have had to constantly call and/or email to try to get ahold of either of them for updates in the matter
I haven't gotten paid as an independent contractor for more than monthsAlso, as a customer I was promised that their service will be resolved in monthsIt is now over a year
Teton Debt contracted with me to settle some credit card debtThey charged money upfront that was to be put in escrow to be used to pay the creditorsAdditional money was charged for the services renderedThe settlements were to be made within approximately days
It is now seven months later, Teton Debt did not settle the debt has promised and because of their directions to not communicate with the creditors., my credit score has dropped from approximately *** to ***, and my salary is now being garnished for 25% of my net incomeThis has now put my family into a situation that we will have to file chapter bankruptcy
