This customer called a few months ago for prices on washers. We discussed Whirlpool, Maytag , Amana and Speed Queen. We did not hear back from him until a few weeks ago. He stated that he had purchased an Amana washer and had returned it because he did not like it. We again discussed pricing and...

product features. A few days later , he did purchase a Speed Queen washer. I was on vacation , Tonya stated that he had called and said he wanted to return the washer on Monday. Our policy and always has been , that if a unit has a problem, we schedule a service call and address the manufacturer's unit and diagnose the issue , if there is a problem, it is fixed. This has been our policy for 62 years.  This is how we deal with this issue. This customer wanted to return the unit and not go this route.  We would like to work with the customer to address his concern and take care of the issue , if the washer does have an issue, to have it repaired. Speed Queen is a reliable brand and has the least service based on usage. We at TRIO value every customer and strive to please  them, this is what our business is based on .

they want a repair man to come out and that is not acceptable. I did not see a posted return/refund policy in the store. I want to return the machine for a refund. The machine is too rough on clothes and put holes in my sheets and pillow cases.   The delicate cycle is non-existent, it washes for about a minute. The design of the machine is not for home use. The electronic set up is not for home use, especially for the delicate cycle. I do not want to pay a 15% restock fee on a defective item. I bought it on a Friday, and I called them either Saturday or Monday to complain. There is nothing on my receipt or invoice that reads: "no returns".   I am prepared to go to small claims court.

I had personally set up a service call for this customer, which he agreed to . I called the company and I think the invoice is attached. If not I can re send it to you. I spoke with service manager at [redacted]'s . They looked at the washer on 08/14/17. The tech found Nothing defective with the washer. He checked the tub and asked Mr. C[redacted] for the clothing that the washer allegedly put holes and the customer could not produce any. The tech checked the tub for snags or burrs and found none. The Manager called Speed Queen Service Dept. and advised them to not the serial number in their system as not defective in case this escalates further. This is a reputable company , I stand by their findings. We are not taking the machine back , we are not refunding the money , and not replacing the unit with an LG front loading machine  which retails for $1099.00, as there were no defects found.  The company noted that any time in the past this type of complaint came to their attention , damaged clothing was presented . I have had this once in 17 years and it was a front load Whirlpool that had a tub defect , they kept the clothing to help show what was happening on certain cycles.

If the business agrees within 5 business days to exchange the machine with an LG model # WM4370HWA that would be acceptable.
