This is in response to a complaint from ** on services provided to her 5/18/at Xquisite Salon StonehamI am the owner of Xquisite Salon established I am a hairstylist of years experienceI have never experienced anything like this before never the less received a complaint like this
beforeI was the stylist that had serviced **I received a phone call from ** a week before looking to schedule an appointment for balayage, ( a french word meaning to sweep or to paintIt allows for a sun kissed natural looking hair) or a highlighted color service and a cut and blow dryShe let me know she was a referral from a co worker of hers that I have as a clientShe scheduled for Wednesday 3:I let her know since she was a referral she will receive a 20% offOn May ** came in to get her hair doneShe told me she has been growing her hair out for a year due to the past two hairstylists she was very unhappy withShe had a very long hair with her natural color to approximately to cheek bone area all blonde throughout the endsShe showed me a picture of what she wanted and we consultedI took the ends of her hair and put it next to her face and asked if she doesn't want to be light since this is what she has been doing and to be sure of the change ( this can be drastic for some people)She said definitely not and wanted a change and to be more naturalI did what she asked, I put darker shades in a balayage affect and before cutting she determined her length which was where I followedI cut and styled than I gave her a blow dry with big loose curlsI than took a picture and had her compare it to the picture she had on her phone (the one her phone was darker than our end result)She said she loved the cut but she wanted some lighter piecesI than added lighter pieces, which now is different than the picture she originally showed meI washed her hair for the second time and blew dried her hair straightShe appeared to be another satisfied customerThe service was with the discount of referral the total was she tipped me which concludes satisfactionI am attaching our conversation we we had through text and pictures before and afterAlso the picture she sent to me of herself days laterI am attaching our conversation we had through text and pictures before and afterAlso the picture she sent to me of herself days laterThis is not how she had me style her hair and she clearly over directed her hair from one side to another, which is not how I cut her hair

When my manager and customers approach me and ask if I know my hair is uneven or how discolored it is this makes me feel ashamed. Ashamed I let someone let alone a manager ruin my hair to this level. I am to embarrassed to let my hair down causing me headaches from keeping it in a pony tail or a bun for 12 hrs + a day just to avoid the constant encounters regarding my hair.  I asked the next day for a refund and told her the same day I was unhappy.
