Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/26) */ Contact Name and Title: Consumer Affairs Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @tmcrv.com As you already know, we are always interested in hearing about our owners It is our understanding the repairs have been completed and the dealer will be contacting Ms [redacted] to schedule a pick up Thank you OFFER: Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) On Oct 21, [redacted] (Service writer at Camping world) called and left a message that the RV was complete and to call back to schedule a pick upLater that week, [redacted] (Service Manager at Camping World) called and asked us to come down to Camping World to go over the repairs they had made so far on the RVWe met [redacted] and [redacted] at Camping World in Valencia on Saturday, Oct 24thIt was an extremely disappointing tripIn the 100+ days they have had the RV, all they managed to do was fix one cabinet and put some caulking around the bath tub that had been leaking When we arrived, we did a walk around the RV, and [redacted] put blue tape on the items that still needed to be fixedWe had already pointed out all of these items to [redacted] when we dropped off the RV on July 13th, During the walk around they said they fixed the slide, but upon trying it out, although it came in one its own the first time, the 2nd and 3rd times it started making grinding noises and started catching in the front, just as it did beforeup to the point where it would no longer retract when we brought it to Camping WorldUpon looking at the outside of the RV, [redacted] was able see the metal shavings on the lower slide track at the front of the RV They also said they fixed the back wall that was separating from the floor (where daylight could be seen) but all that appeared to be done was the molding was moved over to hide the gap, bringing attention to the fact that the whole wall is severally warpedUpon talking with [redacted] regarding the back wall, he thinks the best way to repair it would be to take the whole back wall of the RV off, repair the structure and make sure that it is square, and then put the back of the RV back onThis fix he estimates will take a minimum of weeks, and that is only if they are able to focus their technicians on it daily to get it completed, and if Thor would approve such a repair In addition to not fixing the major problems in the RV, there were simple fixes that they had not even attempted to correct as wellOur AC vents in the front dash were still hanging out of the holes they should be in, our outside large cabinet on the passenger [redacted] rear still will not lock, paneling on the cabinets, as you enter the RV by the stairs, is still hanging from the wall where it was never attachedThe list goes on and onThese items seem to be quick fixes and there should be no reason why they wouldn't have been able to complete them in 100+ days of having our RV for repair We are extremely frustrated that they have had the RV for this amount of time and have not completed but two of the items requestedIt is irritating that that [redacted] called and said ALL Items had been fixed, and we wasted our time (hours driving down there and back) to find out almost nothing has been doneWe have missed several trips over the summer due to the RV being at Camping World for repairs and we are tired of waiting for repairs to be completedIn addition to the length of time it is taking for them to complete the repairs, the number of repairs that need to be done, and the fact that we feel this motorhome is not structurally sound, we want to return this RV to Thor for a full refund (as specified in our original Revdex.com complaint) Yes, we received a call/message from [redacted] from Thor, but have not directly spoken with him in personTherefore, in order to keep the Revdex.com complaint open, we are filing this responseWe look forward to hearing back from [redacted] to get this matter resolved Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 24, 2016/09/06) */ We have been trying to work with Thor to get our issues resolvedThor is refusing to fix ongoing issues with the RV and is now refusing to return calls or e-mail correspondence with usWe need to re-open this case as the problems were never resolved before it was closed Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 26, 2016/09/12) */ As you already know, we are always interested in hearing about our owners Thor Motor Coach takes pride in its product and considers all customer comments to be very important The last communication we received from Ms [redacted] was on March 14, He asked us to resolve outstanding concerns and we directed them to the dealer to resolveThe dealer filed a claim for those repairs in June We will investigate the concerns directly with our customer and take appropriate action based upon the terms of our published limited warranty

[redacted] Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 11, 2017/10/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When any individual spends $110,for a RV, everything should be perfectedWhy would anyone accept a product which is defective? Why would anyone agree to nothing better than the best? The material used to make the cabinetry has been made of defective material by Patrick IndustriesThere is no reason why the cabinet doors/cabinet should fall apartWe keep on hearing that Thor Motor Coach will only accept the warranty but not fix the PROBLEMMaybe it's time to file a complaint against [redacted] They are the company which supplies the productSomeone needs to be responsible for a product which is defectiveAgain, please notice how the material is peeling awayWhat's not to say this problem will continue to happenMy wife and I should not have to keep on bringing our RV back to the repair shop all of the timeWE ARE LOSING OUT ON OUR TIME TO ENJOY OUR RV Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 13, 2017/10/23) */ As we previously stated, we respectfully decline his requestHis cabinetry concern is not a warrantable issue, but a design modification request

[redacted] Lake View [redacted] XXXXX Revdex.com OF NORTHERN INDIANA Attn: Complaint Resolution Department [redacted] Fort Wayne IN XXXXX P Re: Revdex.com Case ## XXXXXXXX Thor ACE EVO RV Manufactured by; Thor Industries, Inc Sold thru: Camping World RV Centers, Hamburg, NY Dear Sir/Madam: This letter is in regards to a complaint previously filedThis matter has not been resolved as of yet, the day that I submitted my original complaint was after a conversation I had with Mr [redacted] in which he stated that statute of limitations has already expired regarding these items and they feel that by giving me four months' worth of payments [redacted] and mileage to and from the factory [redacted] totaling [redacted] is fair compensation for all the lost time I had with this coach I could understand if this coach was used or was a demo model, but I bought this brand new and to have this many problems on something brand new, is ridiculousThor's statement that they sell a "quality product", I would have to disagree, if so, where is itMr [redacted] told me on June 21st, 2016, that the dealership should have inspected this coach before accepting it, and that the statute of limitations has expired on the various items contained in my complaintI ask you, is that something a person who just spent [redacted] on coach wants to hear? Mr [redacted] and Mr [redacted] have told me several times that I could have used the coach through this time in question, but I did not control when the work was being done or completedThese dates July 24th thru July 30, 2014, August 2nd, thru August 30th, 2014, October 1st thru the October 22nd, (it went back to the dealership the same day due to things not being repaired and I didn't get it back until February 3, 2015), This was due to the fact that Thor's parts warehouse was changing location and everything was on back order (there was items) some of the items were cosmetic but in what stage of repair were they? I don't know I was never informed P It seemed every time I used it something else would breakOn June 2nd, 2015, it went in again for the TV's not receiving a signal (the cable broke in the slide out) and the rear hydraulic jack was leaking fluid all over my drive wayI was told after it was in the shop, that the jack was on back order and the cable was ordered Now into July 20th2015, a loud rattle and squeaking noise developed in the dash and a high pitch whistle from the front windshield was heard on our way back from camping, the manufacturer stated, it was wind noise, but a high pitch whistle is not considered "normal" wind noiseIt's an indication of a failed sealThe repairs were completed around the end of July (During this time the shop picked up and dropped off the coach through all of this) In August 2015, we used the coach It seemed to be fine on the drive outOn the way back home the whistle noise and squeaking had gotten so bad that we couldn't even drown It out using the radioOn August 28, the coach went back into the shop where they tried to located the problems, the shop kept trying different things to fix it, after all the options were exhausted; they determined the coach had to go back to the factory to find out what was causing these issuesFrom here it was up to Thor to schedule pick up time and make repairsAfter several delays due to Thor scheduling, the coach went out in January was repaired and returned, or so I thoughtThe service manager from Camping World, [redacted] received the coach and spoke with the transporter in which he stated that it was the loudest coach that he has ever driven, evidently the coach was not totally repaired at the factoryAt this point I was total disgusted with the camper and wanted to get rid of it I spoke [redacted] the service manager of Thor Warranty in February 2016, he wanted to send their service RepMrHenson Adams to the shop to test drive the unit with me to find out exactly what the problem was but he was not available and I would have to wait and setup a timeI met with him around the beginning of May 2016, after minutes of looking at the coach It was determined that the front windshield was not sealed properly during the assembly process, he also stated that other coaches during this time frame had experience this problem and ask the shop to order the sealant to properly seal the front Windshield So around the beginning of June is when I received the coach back home, but I am still waiting on parts that were damaged when it went to the factory for repairsThe total time my coach has been in the shop is daysThis ordeal has totally turned me off from any of Thor Industries products, I have tried to get some type of compensation from Thor that I feel would be fair on June 23th, 2016; I placed a call to Mr [redacted] with an offer but have not heard back him or anyone else P My initial offer was: Total Months, Approximately months @ $ [redacted] = $ XXXXX Mileage $ 0.XX (XXXX) XXX miles to Factory and back Mileage $ around Hamburg Back and forth to shop miles for repairs(readjusted) Loss family time and aggravation/ having to deal with this $ [redacted] I would like my vehicle Warranted for another Years Vehicle needs to be full of fuel, it was full when I took it in there$ [redacted] x [redacted] Plus detailed inside and outfor Now I am willing to negotiate with Thor by: Reducing the lost time down to months @ $ [redacted] = [redacted] The mileage will stay the same, $ [redacted] x [redacted] = [redacted] One-year additional warranty case if something else breaks Loss family time / aggravation: will go away Fuel option: will go away Sincerely [redacted] @yahoo.com (XXX) XXX-XXXX Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2016/07/01) */ We respectfully apologize our response was not satisfactory to Mr [redacted] , however our position has not changed He may contact [redacted] at (XXX) XXX-XXXX or by email at [redacted] @tmcrv.com to further discuss this matter

As we have explained in great deal to Thor, we do not accept receiving a product which had existing damage, which was not disclosed to usWe bought this motorhome certified as "new"No defects were disclosedYet afterward we discovered that there had been a water leak for some unknown amount of timeThere may already be mold growth present from this pre-existing conditionWe do not accept a vague promise to "revisit" problems laterWe are requesting either (a) an extended warranty of a minimum of five years for Thor to completely bear any cost related to future occurrence of this leak or any mold growth that results from it, or (b) exchange the defective motorhome for a new one with the same specifications

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thor Motor Coach refuses to accept responsibility for warranty work performed
- Unit was driven to Thor Factory Center on October 3, Several repairs were addressed including windshield (see exhibit A and B
- While traveling home from factory on I the seal started to come off impairing driver view.(see exhibit 2) Unit was safely moved into breakdown lane and stripping removedDue that it was a Friday at approximately 3:PM and many miles away from factory, it was not fesiable to return to factoryA telephone call was made instead to document the problem
- Once back in *** *** I seeked a professional glass company to repair mouldingIt was discovered by the glass company that the windshield had started to de bondI immediately contacted Mr*** *** by telephone and e mails (see exhibit A and B) Due to personal and family illness, contact with Mr*** was delayed a few months
- After speaking with Mr*** on April 24, 2017, he stated that he reviewed the video I had sentHe went onto state that it appeared the dash had become loose and was pushing out on the bottom of the windshieldHe also stated that the proper way to repair it was to remove the front section of the unit, resecure the dash and reinstall the front sectionI asked if this was covered since the problem was discovered before the warranty expiredHe replied no because I had waited more than six (6) months past the expiration of warranty
I explained that the unit only had 13,miles and had never been in any accidentsI also stated that I was not willing to drive from Rhode Island to Indiana and back, 1,mile round trip to see if the repairs MAY BE or MAY NOT BE covered under warranty
In Closing:
It is my belief that Thor Motor Coach should acept responsiblity for the defects in craftmanship of their productsI am seeking the following rmedies:
- Work to be performed at Thor Service Center in Indiana at no charge
- I am respsonsible for the drop off and pick up of my unit
- Once unit is dropped off at Sevice Center, Thor will provide a rental car that I may travel home and return when repairs are complete
- I am not seeking any reimbursement for time lost at work or travel expenses
Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/08/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have been in contact with Thor Motor Coach since April 18th when I started talking with Ms*** "Owner Relations Manager" she claimedShe did not care about all the issues me and my wife were having with the brand new *** dollar unitYou have no appropriate action because nobody has taken any action to fix the list of separate issues with this vehicle including the upper seat belt mount coming off the wall and hitting me in the face while driving in a construction zone almost causing an accidentYes I called and spoke to *** since Ms*** no longer is employed thereHe could have cared less that a Delta item was left loose and almost caused an accident on the HighwayHis answer was so take it into service so it can be fixedI had to pull over and fix both driver and passenger upper seat belt assemblies before we could continue our VacationAlso told him that we got stuck in South Dakota for an extra day due to the slide out motor mounts breaking and could not close the slide to drive back to Michigan and again he could have cared lessHis answer, you need to take it in to get fixedGeneral RV in Wixom where the unit was purchased was no help with our issuesThey gave us the unit missing the beds in the toy hauler, the electrical not working inside and the Clear Vision off by at least inchesThey actually caused more issues with the unit when they had it like tearing a hole in the drivers seat with a screw driverHowever there is one person at General RV in Brownstown that is trying to help fix all of Thor's issues but cant get anyone there to call him backWe have had this unit for over five months and it has been in and out of service the whole timeEach time we use it, and that has not been much due to all the issues, we make a new list of more and more issues with this unitwhat was supposed to be a joyous experience of being able to buy our dream Motor Coach has been nothing short of a nightmareThe response is just a bunch of empty words as far as I am concerned at this point
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2016/09/14) */
Mr*** spoke with General RV and they stated none of the repairs needing performed render the unit unusable
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2016/09/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Yes according to Mr*** all is good and the unit is usable because the motor starts and the wheel turnHowever what he declined to mention in his response is that while the unit is in service it cant be used and that has been at least months out of the that we have owned itAll the repairs by the way are not done so yes we can pick it up only to return it to service again when all the parts that had to be ordered arriveIt has been in service for the last month and not able to use it but all is good cause we can have it for a week maybe?, then it goes back in for service and we cant use it againNone of this effects anyone's life at Thor so its no big deal but if this unit was yours MrHouser I am sure it would be a different storyMy wife and I do not feel safe in this unit by ourselves let alone putting our kids and grandkids in an unsafe vehicle with all the safety issues that have been foundThere is nothing now that is rendering the unit unusable but when we were stuck in South Dakota due to the slide out motor breaking it was unusable and I lost a days pay because you cant drive a unit with the slide outBut again nobody there is affected and the only reason Mr*** is involved with this now is because we reported Thor to the Revdex.comNeither ***, *** or *** that were involved before *** could have cared less about our situation or how to rectify itAnyone ever call back to check if the unit was fixed and were we happy with the results, answer: no, never, not onceJust take it to service and they will take care of it, really? How has that worked out for us this far? The lack of depth and or detail in your responses Mr*** shows the lack of caring about your customerYou want to downplay the situation as much as possible but I will not stop till we have been justly compensated for the negligence shown by Thor Motor Coach towards me and my family

Initial
Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/10/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept Thor's refund because my RV was under manufactures warranty and the work competed was done with Thor's consentI must add that as of today I still haven't received the refund from Thor
However, I believe it is Thor's goal to drag out the refund process so long that the customer will finally give upI believe they intentionally drop the ball with customers in order to prolong the refund process
I recommend picking up the slack in your customer service department so that its not he topic of conversation in the RV parks*** is not doing your company any good treating people the way he does
Lastly, Thor's response to this Revdex.com complaint said "Thank you for making us aware of this matter." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! I've been communicating with you about this for months!
I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THOR

General Rv and I have discussed a trade, but the trade included me losing thousand dollars on top of what I have already invested
I would like my Coach repaired by ThorI have photos of the repairs done by General Rvs warranty work and they are worse then when I had taken the coach in
General Rv has had my coach for weeksI want thousand dollars from Thor plus every month this coach is out of service they pay the payment and the warranty extended months from the time I get it backThat is my offerand if Jim *** would call me back we could discuss this
I would also think it is my responsibility to make sure this does not happen to other Miramar Coaches and file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administrationin case other basement doors fly off while driving
