Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I do not accept the response for a number of reasonFirst, the response had some statements in itNot once did the woman say anything on the phone about it possibly being a switchShe without a doubt offered to get a regulator part from the local Chevrolet dealer to "fix" the problemAlso, when I picked up my truck that day it had a strong chemical smell in it so something was used to clean behind the door panelThey cleaned behind the door panel with what? Even when getting a quote the tinter informed me he would wipe everything down and get the dirt out from behind the panel so the statement in the response about not using any liquids is absolutely falseI do want this all behind me but I just want this business to take some responsibility with this issue, and or admit they could have handled this situation betterAll I know is I am having to spend another 50$ to get my drivers side window tinted Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was told to clean behind the door panel a chemical would be sprayed so nothing was "fabricated"I am curious on how behind the door panel was cleaned then, if no liquid was usedTheir was a strong chemical smell when I picked up my vehicle that day very similar to the smell when I first got the tint job doneAnyhow, this business still is taking no responsibility on mis-diagnosing the issue and trying to charge me hundreds of dollars for a repair not neededI do not feel comfortable paying more money since I have already spent over $at this business and all I have to show for it is window tintedDue to my experience with this business and how they have handled the situation I do not trust taking my vehicle their anymore Regards, [redacted] ***

On March 20, customer brought truck in for us to remove sand in door which was scratching tint and to re-tint driver window, When we brought the truck into shop we could not get the driver side window down, however passenger window went down using same pod on drivers sideWe never tinted
window that day so therefore no water was usedWe also have an in house glass repair shopWe advised the customer that it could be a switch or a window regulator, told him to check with his mechanic or we could further diagnose on another dayWe would have no problem finishing the tint job

As I stated before no liquids we used on MrKronz's vehicleHis story is fabricatedWe would be happy to finish the tint job as f stated in my previous letter

I was told to clean behind the door panel a chemical would be sprayed so nothing was "fabricated". I am curious on how behind the door panel was cleaned then, if no liquid was used. Their was a strong chemical smell when I picked up my vehicle that day very similar to the smell when I first got the tint job done. Anyhow, this business still is taking no responsibility on mis-diagnosing the issue and trying to charge me hundreds of dollars for a repair not needed. I do not feel comfortable paying more money since I have already spent over $120 at this business and all I have to show for it is 1 window tinted. Due to my experience with this business and how they have handled the situation I do not trust taking my vehicle their anymore.

I do not accept the response for a number of reason. First, the response had some false statements in it. Not once did the woman say anything on the phone about it possibly being a switch. She without a doubt offered to get a regulator part from the local Chevrolet dealer to "fix" the problem. Also, when I picked up my truck that day it had a strong chemical smell in it so something was used to clean behind the door panel. They cleaned behind the door panel with what? Even when getting a quote the tinter informed me he would wipe everything down and get the dirt out from behind the panel so the statement in the response about not using any liquids is absolutely false. I need a dash mat for my car then I bought it from Xtreme Car & Truck Accessories. The price was cheaper than other stores in the area. But their service was second to none. Would definitely come back here again.

I bought a car canopy from Xtreme Car & Truck Accessories. The sales person was helpful and polite. He chose the right canopy for my car and it's really fit on it. Thanks for a great service.

Thanks for make over my car. It's look like new again now. Any time I need an auto detailing service, I will go to Xtreme Car & Truck Accessories first.

Review: A few weeks ago I took my truck to Xtreme to get the driver side and passenger side window tinted. I picked up my truck and payed $90.95. The tint looked good. After waiting several days for the tint glue to dry I attempted to put down the windows. When trying to put down the windows both windows did not go down smoothly. They were bumpy when going down and almost felt like they were going to come off the inner window track. I called Xtreme and they told me to bring it down on the following Thursday. The woman expalined to me that their window tinter is sub contracted and only there at certain times. I left work and drove there to get the issue looked at. I arrived and was told that an appointment was canceled so the tinter would not be there until the afternoon. So I wasted time away from work because this business could not give me a call to notify me the window tinter would not be there. Anyhow they told me to call later in the afternoon. I did and he still was not there. I waited over the weekend and called them again. We made a time to come in again. I left work again (I believe it was on a Thursday also) and drove to Xtreme. The window tinter came around back and met me at my vehicle. I showed him the issues I was having. On the passenger side window he said the tint just needed a little trimming. He trimmed it on the spot in two places and it worked just fine. That fixed that window. He then proceeded to look at the drivers side. I rolled the window up and down a few times. He began to explain to me that I had dirt/ sand inside the panel which was hitting the tint and not causing the window to go down smoothly. I totally agreed with him because he showed me the scratches it was leaving on the tint. He told me that it happened frequently and behind the panel needed to be cleaned. If it happens frequently why would you not want to check that first so it didn't cost the customer more to get it redone? Anyhow he said they could clean behind the panel and retint the window. He said they would have to recharge to retint the window as well as some labor for cleaning behind the door panel. The lady at the front desk gave me a quote of around 80$ for this. This was after I already paid $90.95 for the tinting of 2 windows. So basically I was getting 2 windows tinted for $160. At this point I just wanted to get the job done so I agreed and scheduled an appointment for March 20th at 10:30AM. On the 20th I dropped my truck off around 10:15 AM. Around 1:30pm I get a phone call from the lady working at Xtreme saying that they were unable to tint the window because they could not get the window down. She said the window would not roll down on the drivers side. That morning on the way to work I rolled the drivers side window down to say good morning to my neighbor so it was working then. She proceeded to tell me that I needed a window regulator and they could get it from the local Chevrolet Dealership ([redacted]) down the road. She said it would cost me 200-300$. Of course I was not going to do this so I went down to pick my truck up. I walked into the showroom and she explained what she explained to me over the phone again. I told her that the window was working in the morning and all she could say was " I dont know what to tell you, We can order the part , but that is all we can do for you". She did explain that the window tinter did remove the panel and cleaned behind it so I did have to pay for that service. If the window would not go down would it not be common sense to call the customer first before doing anymore work on a vehicle? I told her I did not think it was fair that my truck was working fine when I brought it to them and now it has the issues. I asked to talk to a manager and she said with some attitude " I am the manager". She seemed to get defensive. I was very unhappy and she knew it but all she could say was " We cannot do anything else for you". I ended up paying the $42.80 for the "cleaning behind the panel". I got back in my truck and drove back to work. I could tell some liquid was used because of the strong cleaning product smell in my truck. The drivers side window would not roll down. The passengers side would roll down. The automatic locks no longer worked and the locks did not work when using the key fob. I showed a mechanic and explained to him what happened. He checked a few fuses for me and gave his suggestion. He believed the window regulator was fine but it had to do with the switch on the drivers side. He proceeded to tell me that side basically controlled the passengers side and locks. His thought was moisture got into the switch from the cleaning or even when it was tinted previously since soap/water is used. I did notice my door arm rests were more faded white and not as black from some liquid on them when I initially got it tinted. Xtreme told me they only use soap/water and that would not fade the plastic. Anyhow, I took the suggestion of the mechanic and took apart the switch and used a hair dryer on it for 5 minutes to dry it out. I reinstalled the switch and now everything is working properly once again. The power locks work, the drivers side window rolls down, and the power locks when using the key fob all work again. Xtreme wanted me to pay 200-300$ for a part (window regulator) that I did not even need. I feel as though due to their inept diagnosis of problems of vehicles, they are taking advantage of people. A window tinter diagnosed my issue as a window regulator. It was not that and the fact that they wanted to order me one and get it installed disturbs me. Overall the customer service was horrible. She put absolutely no effort into coming to a resolution with me . I am the paying customer and was not treated like a customer should be treated. DO I think the window tinter is bad at his job? No. I think he is good at tinting windows but to say for certain what is wrong with something that does not relate to tinting windows is obviously not something he should be diagnosing.Desired Settlement: I feel as though the initial service I agreed upon was $90.95 (includes tax) for the tinting of two windows. I have already paid a total of $133.75 including the $42.80 for behind the panel cleaning. Since I really only have 1 window tinted correctly and finished (passenger) because the drivers side had to be cut at the bottom to allow the window to go down.(This was a temporary fix done by the window tinter). So I feel as though a $40 refund for not getting both windows done is more than fair. I have spent probably a total of 1 hour away from work dealing with trying to get this issue fixed and I still have to get my drivers side window retinted.

I recently bought a tire for my car from this store and their price was reasonable and fair. Any time I need auto accessories, I will go here again. I'm a satisfied customer of Xtreme Car & Truck Accessories.

actually contacted an attorney because they incorrectly installed a remote starter, my car died so I took it straight there and they said it was not anything they did. My car battery died FOUR more times at very inconveinent times, like when it was -15 degrees, etc. Finally, Honda solved the problem by uninstalling. Xtreme said I should have kept bringing the car to them (remember, I already did that!) and would not stand behind their installation because I voided the warranty by having it uninstalled. I asked "what warranty?", the owner said "come in, I'll write one up for you." Take your business elsewhere, they did NOTHING to resolve this issue. We are just out over $300.
