Xtreme Machining Reviews (4)

Review: Last year ( August 2015) I sent a AR-15 rifle for repair. I have made a few phone calls with the founder Robert Z[redacted]. He stated that my firearm was "ran over by a forklift" and he stated " I will get it fixed and sent to a firearms dealer of your choice". I have made multiple attempts over the last couple months and now I am unable to make contact with them.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to either repair my firearm or refund me for the price of the rifle $550.00

Review: On April 8, 2016, I mailed my upper receiver group of my AR-15 back to Xtreme Machining for repair or replacement. The owner of the company said on the phone the day before that he would take care of all the problems with the item. As of August 25, 2016, I have not received the item back. E-mail inquires to the company have not been answered, and when I phone the company at ###-###-####, no one answers.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or my upper receiver group repaired or replaced and returned to me.

Review: I returned an AR-15 complete upper assembly including bolt carrier, charging handled and front and rear sights for inspection and repair to Xtreme Machining due to the upper shooting very far to the left with the rear sight centered. It was received at their facility located in Drifting PA on 3-21-16 at 8:26 AM per USPS tracking information. After numerous phone calls from myself to Xtreme Machining to verify that they did receive my property I was contacted by telephone on 3-31-16 by a person identifying himself as Bob Z[redacted]. He advise that he did have my upper assembly and had inspected it and mounted it on another lower assembly and test fired it and he felt that there was nothing wrong with it. He advise that he would shoot it again that day from a more stable platform and call me back later that day or the next day and let me know the results of his test firing.

That was now over two months ago with no further contact from the company. I have made countless phone calls and left numerous messages for Bob Z[redacted], Seth D[redacted] and the Secretary asking for the return of my property with no return calls to me from anyone at Xtreme Machining. I have emailed several times also asking for someone to please respond to my phone calls and emails and to please return my property with no response from Xtreme Machining.Desired Settlement: Return of my complete AR-15 upper assembly with front and rear sights or replacement of my property with a similar complete AR-15 upper assembly.

Review: I returned the upper receiver of my AR15 for repair on 9/14/2015, and the business owner has not or will not give me back my upper receiver to my gun. I called him after a month, and he initially stated that his staff mailed it twice, but it must have gotten lost in the mail. He said he couldn't find any paperwork/tracking number on the shipping, so he didn't know where it was. He assured me he would find out what happened and would send me my upper receiver or another one the next day and call me with the status. I waited three days for the call, but no call. So I called him, but he wouldn't answer my calls and would not return them. After a week or so, I finally just started calling repeatedly hoping to catch him at his desk. He finally answered and told me he shipped it out via UPS and gave me the tracking number. UPS states that the label was created on 10/29/15, but the item was not given to them. The business owner told me he would find out what happened and let me know the next day. He hasn't called, and I still don't have my upper receiver to my AR15. A friend of mine is having the exact same issue with this business.Desired Settlement: Please return my property.
