customer's moving agreement, I learned that they have already been discounted $40. I regret that I haven't had an opportunity to reveal my finds with the customer. However, they have been already discounted and there isn't more that we can do at this time.

Review: I informed Xtreme Movers that their movers had ripped an almost new box spring mattress and told them I would settle for a $25 credit to compensate for my repairing it and the trouble of doing so. [redacted], the owner, said they would send me a $25 prepaid credit card. Six months later and after numerous calls and numerous promises from [redacted] (and also from three other employees), I've received nothing. Some people may think it seems petty to fuss over $25, but it became a point of principle. I HATE being lied to; and that's what each of the people I've talked to have done every time. They even told me twice that they would hand-deliver the card, which, of course, they didn't. Also, they very rarely answer their phone.Desired Settlement: I would have settled for the $25 card they promised, but now I have invested so much time and trouble and have been so irritated that the six-month-old promise is no longer satisfactory. I would settle this issue for $50.

Review: Xtreme Movers broke our two piece sectional leather sofa and are refusing to repair/replace the broken couch. Xtreme Movers are not answering our calls or correspondence and refusing to accept claim. Sent them many emails, photos, and called them many times without any response from them. Please note that they movers were un-professional, were working for the first time for Xtreme Movers, their truck broke down while loading and delivering, their movers broke several items, they took too long for the move, charged us extra, did not give proper paper-work before or after move and were extremely un-professional.Desired Settlement: Would like Xtreme Movers to repair or replace the leather sofa couch. It was bought from Wickes Furniture in Torrance, CA. We don't think the sofa couch can be repaired as two legs are broken and the place where the legs go in are also broken. Would like Xtreme Movers to send someone immediately and attend this matter. The date of the move was November 18, 2013 and we have been without a couch for all this time.

Response:

I do not know about Bubba Company. The company that moved our furniture is Xtreme Movers, Inc. I am enclosing a bill of lading as well as the company's flyer. Please take up the matter with Xtreme Movers as they damaged our furniture.

Hi!

We are not Bubba's Moving Company. The name of our company is Xtreme Movers. I explained to Mr [redacted] that if he can tell us where the couch was purchase and the model we will purchase new legs for the couch. Mr [redacted] did not remember where he purchased the couch or the model. Please provide us with the required information and we will purchase 2 new legs. Thank you.

Review: We hired these movers because the had good prices & seemed legitiment over the phone. The first day they arrived four hours late, they worked slow. They didn't start till 1:00pm and didn't finish until 1:30 the next morning. They kept taking smoke breaks and never washed their hands. The second day they were 12 hours late, showed up at 8:00 Saturday evening and didn't finish until midnight. They didn't even complete the job correctly, the told us we need to finish the job, there was still 60% of our furnishings in our old house. The movers used foul language, rolled their eyes and damaged our furniture. These movers even had the nerve to talk bad about my brother, who came over to help out. We've looked at all the damages that they did, in total we've estimated over $10,000.00 so far. The owner Markis Stone isn't even returning any of our phone calls, he's ignoring us.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of the entire move in cash, as well as money to cover al the damages & a face to face apology.

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I contacted Xteme Movers as my apartment complex referred me to them. I was moving within the same apartment complex between 2 buildings less than 100 feet away. I contacted them a week before and was told that do to the renovation situation at my complex they have been doing a lot of onsite apartment to apartment moves and had setup a package. She asked the amount of rooms (2 bedrooms) and told me that for $340 she could do 5 hours, 3 guys and a truck. I asked for a emailed quote and she siad they don't do them which should have been a warning sign. I took the package and she billed my credit card 3 days later. Day of - The guys showed up late and were only 2 of them. They didn't start till 1:30pm as they were waiting for the 3rd guy to arrive. They parked outside the stair well but decided to take everything down the elevator. It took ridiculous amount of time to the point my roommate and I started carrying items ourselves down the stairs to the truck to speed it up. My roommate and I were both frustrated at the low speed these guys were moving. When we asked one why they were dragging he said they did a move earlier that day. Nonetheless I was now warned that they would probably go into overtime (do to how slow they were moving, the constant sitting around and taking the elevator for everything.....) I basically told them to finish what they had to load in the truck and I'd move the rest. Once at the new apartment they moved everything in. At the end I was presented with a new bill that now had a truck fee and additional fees for the 3rd guy. When I explained was a package deal and I got $340 for 5 hours/3 guys and a truck.....the guy said oh no everything billed separate. I insisted on getting someone of higher authority on the phone. He got a "manager" on the phone who said none of what I said was true, when I tried to explain the package the woman setup with me he hung up on me. The lead mover then told me "what does it matter to you, you're going to get reimbursed anyway” I said what? He said "you'll just pay a little it overtime but the main move will be paid for by the apartment, you just turn in the receipt." I said I didn't understand. He said "everyone at complex is getting moved and reimbursed by the complex which is why each move tends to take as long as it can so that the complex will pay them" I said we weren't part of the complex's move deal.....they referred you to us, but the offer he was speaking of was just for specific residents. He then said, oh I shouldn't have told you that. Forget I said that. Frustrated, I paid. Afterwards I realized these guys purposely took their time to milk the clock and make as much money as they could by going slow thinking the complex would pay out their max, not realizing I wasn't one of the citizens in the complex's deal with the movers. aka Racketeering. I spoke with a gentleman who did a follow up phone call on these concerns. He said he'd investigate apologized and said he was going to get me some form a refund. He said I'd hear back from him later that week, never heard back.Desired Settlement: Honor the original package price. I shouldn't have to pay because your guys want to milk the clock thinking the complex will pay the max amount of hours. They didn't realize the complex wasn't reimbursing me. They didnt even know how much I paid at the begining.

Review: We contracted them to move us on 8/29/2014 between the hours of 8-10AM. they did not show nor call. I called [redacted] a couple of times and he said he would try to find another crew. They finally arrived at 12:54. [redacted] said he would "take care of us." The truck was much smaller than advertised and could not fit everything, which then made us do several trips with our own car. When we arrived at the new apartment, the two movers could not even fit the couch into our doorway. Our Leasing Consultant had to come and do it. They damaged our bed frame which caused it to break. They made a hole on the back of a nightstand. They were obviously not experienced movers as advertised. [redacted] has said to give him a few days to work on it. That was on September 6th. Have not heard from him since. I have all texts to support my statement.Desired Settlement: We would like a portion of our money back. We paid $300. Half would be acceptable.
