Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have already stated that I read the Terms and Conditions after the product had already been shippedI am not denying that I should've read them before agreeing to pay $for shippingMy complaint is that the seller did not advertise in good faith, implying in the main body of the ad that this was to be a free day trialIt is not truly free when the buyer has to pay for shipping and handling both ways, with the hassle of having to repackage the product and take it to the post officeNone of that was implied in the main body of the ad, but plenty of space was devoted there to promote the 'free'ness of the offerThey could've easily mentioned the fact that the product would have to be returned within days (at the buyer's expense) or that the buyer would have to pay $if he/she didn't return it within that time frameInstead, they chose to bury those inconvenient facts on a separate pageSorry, but this is sneaky advertisingBig deal- they didn't charge me the $They shouldn'tI was told by MasterCard that would be fraudThis is like buying a new car and then opening the trunk afterwards to find a dead body in it"Well, you should've looked there before you bought it- we gave you a chance to look." I admit I should've- but they shouldn't have hid the dead body there in the first placeThis is a dirty, time and money-wasting dealAs a reminder: this 'offer' was given to me after I'd wasted more time filling out a survey that said I would be given free gifts for completing it, further adding to the sneakiness of itI got something alright- a kick in the buttTheir Terms and Conditions also say something noteworthy: "We have consulted with our legal team who conducted a compliance review of our website and product and were told we are in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines"That says it all; because they legally CAN get away with screwing you, they doBTW, $for pills???? Are you kidding me? What is this- the fountain of youth? Sorry, but the seller shows no signs of remorse in their rebuttal, signaling to me that they will continue this shoddy, 'legal' screwing Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have already stated that I read the Terms and Conditions after the product had already been shipped. I am not denying that I should've read them before agreeing to pay $4.99 for shipping. My complaint is that the seller did not advertise in good faith, implying in the main body of the ad that this was to be a free 14 day trial. It is not truly free when the buyer has to pay for shipping and handling both ways, with the hassle of having to repackage the product and take it to the post office. None of that was implied in the main body of the ad, but plenty of space was devoted there to promote the 'free'ness of the offer. They could've easily mentioned the fact that the product would have to be returned within 14 days (at the buyer's expense) or that the buyer would have to pay $89.99 if he/she didn't return it within that time frame. Instead, they chose to bury those inconvenient facts on a separate page. Sorry, but this is sneaky advertising. Big deal- they didn't charge me the $89.99. They shouldn't. I was told by MasterCard that would be fraud. This is like buying a new car and then opening the trunk afterwards to find a dead body in it. "Well, you should've looked there before you bought it- we gave you a chance to look." I admit I should've- but they shouldn't have hid the dead body there in the first place. This is a dirty, time and money-wasting deal. As a reminder: this 'offer' was given to me after I'd wasted more time filling out a survey that said I would be given free gifts for completing it, further adding to the sneakiness of it. I got something alright- a kick in the butt. Their Terms and Conditions also say something noteworthy: "We have consulted with our legal team who conducted a compliance review of our website and product and were told we are in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines". That says it all; because they legally CAN get away with screwing you, they do. BTW, $89.99 for 60 pills???? Are you kidding me? What is this- the fountain of youth? Sorry, but the seller shows no signs of remorse in their rebuttal, signaling to me that they will continue this shoddy, 'legal' screwing.

I understand the Complaint Involves: Selling Practices  The customer agreed to the following terms upon purchase by checking the box that states, I am at least 18 years old and agree to the Terms and Conditions. I understand that if I don't cancel within 14 days, I will be enrolled to a receive a new supply of xTreme Muscle Pro each month and will be billed $89.95 for each shipment. Please see below where this is stated: In addition to the customers agreeing to the terms when placing their order, they are also sent a hard copy of the terms and conditions. Customers are able to send the product back to at no cost if they do not wish to try the product. We acknowledge and respect the customer's decision in not doing business with us.   We find many customers prefer the trial basis. They receive the product for a small price and are able to try the product. If the product doesn't suit them or they get an unwanted reaction, they may simply return the product without having to pay for the entire bottle. Unlike regular stores like GNC, customers are spending around $20-30 for three different products that has the three ingredients our product includes. In addition, once they purchase the product, they may not return the opened bottles. The purpose of the trial is for our customers to have a preview of what they are purchasing. Customers know what they are about to commit to.   Our customer service call center in available from 830-430pm Monday-Friday PST to answer any questions our customers have. Also, we have a support email: [email protected] that our support team answers during office hours. I can assure you that we are here to serve our customers and fulfill their desires. If customers choose to cancel or stay with us, we respect their decision. We have had great customer results from our product. We have seen drastic weight losses and have seen many body transformations. We want to continue helping those who are motivated and are ready to look and feel good. We apologize for any inconvenience the customer has been. We regret loosing this customer.     Sincerely, [redacted] D.
