Penske Chevrolet has attached a copy of the warranty document signed by the customer. I have also attached a copy of the inquiry from Penske Chevrolet showing that the warranty was put into place on the correct date. It is circled toward the bottom of the page. The customer asked
us to cancel this warranty on Saturday, August 1st and it was done so Monday the 3rd. The refund is in the amount of $560. This dollar amount is calculated by the warranty company. Checks are sent out within days. These documents, information, and GMPP contact number were sent to the customer via email on Monday August 3rd as well. The customer mentioned they called Ally to verify the warranty was put in place and said it wasn'tI called using the phone number - 1-800-631-and they verified it was in place and cancelled as of today. The representative mentioned that nobody accessed the account before today therefore the customer probably gave them improper information to look up the warranty information. Below is the policy number and last of the vin which will allow them to verify Penske Chevrolet has satisfied it's requirements.policy number - ***last of vin - ***

This check was issues on August 2ndWe have spoken with the customer and he confirmed he has the check in hand and plans on cashing it today (08/10/17). thanks

Penske Chevrolet has read complaint ID [redacted] and the following actions have taken place.  Our General Manager reached out and had a conversation with customer regarding their experience. Penske Chevrolet admits to a lack of communication throughout the entire process as well as sloppy...

craftsmanship on all repairs taken place so far.  The following actions will take place at the customer’s convenience:-Reassembling the battery cover and missing bolts which we have in stock.-The vehicle to be cleaned inside & out at delivery after cover and bolts are assembled.-Considering the vehicle is out of warranty, Penske Chevy has agreed to pay 50% parts and labor for the Power Steering Issue. This offer is good for 6 months from February 1st, 2018.  Brett R[redacted]

Hello - the customer's complaint is factual.  We did fail to get an inspection done on her vehicle at the time the warranty was purchased.  This failure extended repair times by roughly 3 days.  Outside of that, all delays were related to approval by the warranty company.  Penske...

Chevrolet paid for all repairs that were not covered by the warranty and the customer has picked up her vehicle.  This issue has been handled internally and I believe all parties involved are satisfied.   Thank you

clarify this, Intermatic sent detailed instructions to the customer on 10/12 on filing a warranty claim and are awaiting the customer request. We expect to be able to fulfill the warranty claim timely once we receive the customer information. If we have not heard from the customer by the end of this week we will reach out again to attempt to assist the customer.
Occasionally there is confusion about when to return a product to the distributor a customer originally contacted and when to reach out to Intermatic. Our web site contains the link (https://parts.intermatic.com/) that be used for warranty claims. After the normal return period for a return to the distributor, defective items can be returned to Intermatic during the product warranty period.
