Our barely a year old heat pump unit wouldn't turn on after a storm passed through our areaFreedom came to inspect the unit on November 10th and said they believed we experienced a power surge from the stormNot knowing what actually was damaged in the unit, they sent a work order for over 5KThey were insistent that these damages would not be covered under warranty and we would have to use our home owners insuranceAfter speaking with our home owners insurance company, they felt the inspection was sub-par and even stated it seemed "suspicious." I contacted Freedom Heating and plumbing to fix my water heater, I explained why it wasn't working properly and since whenI gave them the make model of the water heater and asked if they serviced this brand and type of water heater, the rep from Freedom H&P advised me they did service themOn 6/27/when the technician came out he was there a short time and advised me he attempted to turn the water heater on and off but it did workthe technician advised me that Freedom H&P does not work on my kind/brand of water heaters and my options were to fix it myself or I could buy a new one from them and they would install it for around $2,I advised the technician that I would find someone else to fix it, the Technician advised me it was going to cost me $for them coming out, I asked him why I should pay because he didn't do anything and couldn't do anything because they don't service my water heaterI gave the Technician my credit card information but requested a receip
